  Hi, I am currently get density, viscosity and temperature of an instrument, adding a timestamp data and write to a .csv file that I can view in Excel. It works very well (see attached code) but reimport what I have to do now is search this csv file of data that has been obtained at one time, temperature, density & the values of viscosity at the moment in Labview to do some calculations with them, so that the data acquisition process is still ongoing.

  I found several examples on how to import a CSV together in labview, but none on how to extract data at a specific time. Also, every time I try to do anything with the file .csv for my data acquistion VI is running, I get error messages (probably because I'm trying to write and import data from the .csv file at the same time). Is there a way to get around this, perhaps using the case structures?

  If you need to know my skill level, I use LabVIEW for a few weeks and before that have basically no experience of writing code, if any help would be great. Thank you!

  You can use IOUtilities.streamToBytes to read the inputstream all at once.

  Use a StringTokenizer (several implementations are available when you use the strength of research) to mark your csv.

I used to be able to do this in previous versions of Media Player, but this function seems now blocked or unavailable. The problem is this: through previous use of media player, it plays all my multimedia files several times whenever a device support has been added. He would try to save the files on my main drive, but since there is not enough room this would save the files somewhere else. This happened several times, I suppose, because when I upgraded my computer and a media scan was conducted he found duplicates of all my media various times of at least 6-8. I've consolidated since my plates on 3-disc multi to, but have now records duplicated hundreds and thousands of duplicate media files. Previous versions of Media Player would allow me to select all files and then delete them both of the reader, but also from my hard drive. So now I'm stuck with more than 300 GB of duplicate media I have to search line by line through all my hard drives to find each duplicate both, unless I can get media player to do what it can. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

  To delete duplicate entries, click on another feature tab in the drive (for example the current playback), and then click library.
  
  If this does not remove duplicates from your library, you can use the Add to library dialog box to search computer to analyze a file on your computer the duplicate entries not valid-pointing. The player will remove invalid entries in your library that point to files that no longer exist in the folder.

  Complete the steps above for files that are stored in the hard disks.

  Method 1: Use the add to Library dialog box search for computers

  (a) start Windows Media Player.
  
  (b) press F3 on your keyboard to open Add to the library of the find computers dialog box.

  (c) click the Browse button to locate the folder on your computer so that your library contains invalid entries. Specify the location of the folder in the box look in.

  If you are not sure what duplicate in your library entry is not valid, you can add a path column to display in your library. Specify the folder on your computer that corresponds to the path not valid file displayed in your library.
  
  (d) click on the Search button.

  The player will search for digital media files and playlists in the folder that you specify and remove invalid entries in your library that point to files that no longer exist in the folder. If not valid in double entries point to other folders on your computer, repeat this procedure, specify a different folder every time.

  If only a small number of duplicate entries exist, you can delete those invalid manually by right-clicking on the invalid entry, and then clicking Delete .
  
  For large double-number of entries in your library (or if all your library is duplicated), it might be better to create a new library and delete the files.

  Method 2:

  After you remove the duplicate entries, run the troubleshooting of Windows Media Library settings to solve this problem.

  The macbook pro that I used for all my homework for a class, died, and now I am forced to transfer files from the hard drive the computer via firewire. I created a website for a class, unfortunately the class is not a class of web, and I don't know much about dreamweaver, just trying to create something simple. However the I don't know that move files outside dreamweaver is a very bad idea, so I am nervous. Is there an easy way to move files without any problem? I am not very practical with the program, so any help would be appreciated. As you can understand, I would like to move the files as soon as possible...

  You will need to provide the result of a select query that contains approximately 80000 registration in a .csv file. A procedure is written for the select query and the procedure is called in the script of the coil. But few of the columns have the decimal point in values. For example, there is a personal_name column in the select query that says the name as "James, Ed. Then the output in different columns. Therefore, the data is being shifted to the right for the remaining columns.
  Some could help solve this problem. I mainly used a procedure as the select query is about three pages, and so you want the script to look clear.

  I was hitting my head on this one for a few days now. It seems that something that has probably been done before and should not be so difficult, but I found few cases of help in the documentation from Adobe (and researched a lot of google).

  I have a catalog of retail sale of 100 pages with approximately 1000 products in InDesign CS5. I have a spreadsheet excel with the names of products this year, prices and descriptions of update. Normally, we would go through one by one and cut and paste. This year, I thought I would try to skip this step. There are plugins that do this, but they are not cheap, and we are not big. Upgrade to CS5 of CS2 is a big investment in and of itself.

  

  Here is an example of the data (I use a vertical bar as a separator character):

  Then... standard excel file exported to a delimited format (I use OpenOffice to export in order to avoid the problem of excel citing darn close * everything *). In the InDesign file, we have a component of text for grouped each name, description, and price. The Group has a title of the product ID script and each field within the group is labelled accordingly (name, id, description). Thus, the Group: 3627, point: description (name or price).

  Pseudocode:

  Open the file

  Analyze the data in a table

  Scroll through the InDesign file group

  Check the script group label, look it up in the table, assign values to the fields

  Easy right?

  I'm not new to javascript, but it is not my tongue harder. With this effort, I had problems as simple as the syntax for the identification of the groups by their label. Anyway, here is the code (it is not pretty as the only way that I could not even run to scroll the table of data line by line and then scroll the entire InDesign file for each row of data. And, Yes, it takes about an hour to run--but it * is * run):

  For someone who is not familiar with the groups and scripts, unfortunately, you cannot process blocks of text within a group without using the group. At least, that's what I understand.

  Any help would be appreciated. Even just to find how to approach a particular in the document, so that I don't have to scroll through the entire file and do a comparison for each element would be a big improvement.

  You have nice little problem here

  Well, unfortunately, InDesign CS5 is a bit heavy on the labels of script, there were some changes and other things. In CS4 and before, when you call pageItem.item (myItemName), you would get called from script, but in CS5, it has been changed, and now you get the element name that is in the layers palette. Now you can easily copy all the script tags, new place, and then it would be easy to access items by name of the element.

  This will copy all the labels current script name of the element:

    app.activeDocument.allPageItems[i].name = app.activeDocument.allPageItems[i].label;
  

  Now, when you have all the names in place, you can access them like this:

• How can I play files CSV lines with a different number of columns?

  I am trying to load CSV with DIAdem 2014 files, and I found there is a great tool, "use".

  However, with the CSV use tool, there are critical problem with my data files. (See photo)

  As you can see the CSV file attached, it includes a lot of lines with different columns.

  And here, use read the number of columns of 1st line (e.g.: 4 columns) and set it as the number of columns to read.

  So I can not load all of the data (e.g.: 53 columns) if first row data were lower than columns.

  Can anyone recommend any approach, please?

  Hello. I have a problem a XY chart from the files. I managed to establish a curve, but I need 3 charts plotted on a XY Chart. I have 4 txt files with tables 1 d (just a single column) of data. 1: the values of X, the rest 3 values Y. could you please answer what is the error in my diagram and how to solve?

  In essence, nothing is correct on the block diagram. If reading worksheet allows you to return a 2D array, you must use the Index Array function to get a single column in a table 1 d. You use the subset of the array that returns a 2D array that is clearly visible. However, you can make things much simpler using playback of the sheet in the correct manner. Set the entrance to transpose to True and take the exit of the first row. It is a 1 d table.

• CSV download problem

  User reported that there was a problem with the CSV file after download of the dashboard of the OBI. Report has about 15 columns and I created the view tables with about 12 columns and order of the columns in a table view is different from the order of the columns in the criteria. user has downloaded the report to CSV format and this is to download the report with the order of the columns in the criteria tab rather than order of the columns in a table view. I never had this problem before. If one of you met and fixed it, please let me know.

  Hi Jay,.

  Export CSV or text delimited by OBI11g is the report criteria. Export to Excel/PDF comes from the view. It is a standard behavior of 11g. If the columns are not used for other purposes in the criteria, you can remove columns.

I am registering as a simple text file. When I create dummy data in a spreadsheet and the export to CSV is exactly the same when I opened in text editing, but it matter perfectly.
