• Cannot delete files of documentation

  I have already checked the knowledge base, but was unable to find an answer to my question.
  
  I had Dreamweaver MX on Mac OS10.2.8 running but after trying to remove the program, I got a message saying that the following four files documentation can not be removed because the files are "locked":
  
  DWMX2004_API.PDF
  DWMX2004_Getting_Started.PDF
  Extending_DWMX2004.PDF
  Using_DWMX2004.PDF
  
  It's really annoying because I need the files is no longer, but cannot delete them. I would rather do not erase my entire hard drive at this moment no more...

  find the files in the Mac finder. Select the files. Press Apple-i (or file > read the information)
  At the bottom of the file info window, change the property and the set of permissions (click details), the
  owner to be yourself and access for read and write.

• Search of the Oracle database Documentation Library button does not

  After downloading the database Oracle 11 g Release 2 (11.2) documentation, I extracted the tar to the directory file "D:\Documentations\Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2)" and in this directory, there is a file named index.htm. When I open this file in a browser, the page "library of Documentation of database Oracle 11 g Release 2 (11.2)" is displayed. On the top left corner of this page, there is a search button, but it does not work. The browser will throw the following error:
  I'm sorry, "tahiti - stage.us.oracle.com ' doesn't exist or is not found
  
  Can someone please advice if there is a way to solve this problem of research question. Thank you much in advance.

  Thanks for this alert. A corrected version of the zipper has been posted. The problem exists since the update of last Thursday. (Details of the update are in the RSS feed: http://www.oracle.com/pls/db112/new_html) There is no ability to search for documentation of database so the correct behavior - and behaviour in the recently updated zip to update offline - are directing queries to Tahiti as you do already.

  The simple fact of the matter is that Oracle no longer publishes a full set of documentation of the product (for example; User Manual, etc.) Everything is now in the forms help system. The last time Oracle published the kind of documentation you are looking for has been with Oracle Developer 2000 (Forms 4.5). You can still get the pdf version of these books in the Oracle Forms Developer and Forms Server Documentation. Download them quickly because they may be there much longer! It seems that Oracle is slowly remove ALL content that is more than 4-5 years old.

• New version is no longer generates .hlp, .cnt, or .fts files?

  Hello!  I inherited a project for updating a helper application that has not been touched in 7 years.  I don't know what former version was in, I think he could have 5, but I use Robohelp HTML version 7.  He seemed to convert my files very well and I made my changes.  These are the output options available to me:

  1. WebHelp
  2. WebHelp Pro
  3. FlashHelp
  4. FlashHelp Pro
  5. Microsoft HTML Help
  6. XML output

  The developer .fts which connects at the request of the help of his three files ending by .cnt, research program. and .hlp.  When I made mine to WebHelp (which is what I normally use), these three files are not.  I searched the .cnt, .fts. and the types of .hlp files and discovered that they seem to all be open mainly by Microsoft Help applications. This made me think that maybe I should be out # 5, Microsoft HTML Help files. Alas, none of the three required files were generated using this method of production, either.  For good measure, I tried to publish the files that each of the 6 options out, but no luck, the three required files have been generated not by using one of these methods.

  This makes me think that maybe in the past 7 years, Robohelp has made some changes and is therefore no longer possible output .cnt, .fts. or .hlp files.  Is this true?  If so, I'll have to get the developer to change the code to point to another type of file, maybe the Microsoft HTML Help .chm file.  If it is not true, can someone tell me how to generate these three files?  Thank you!

  It's true. You use the HPJ file to open the project. To enter your changes in the HR for Word, I would be out of the project in a Word file (printed Documentation and cut and paste the content in your HR to Word application. HR for Word use. RTF files as the source for the formatting must be maintained. Just be aware that if you use a feature that is not available in WinHelp, this can cause problems.

  You talk about ActionScript 3.0, right? If so, the class complete
  path or package is listed in the entry of the class for each object. In
  ActionScript 2.0, the TextField class lies not in a package.

  Hard to say, but I see ja_JP and en_US in your message. This application is for the Japanese or French?

  My post help you generate localized files framework and it's important, but that will only locate things like the names of month/day in DateChooser, implemented the decimal separators, etc.

  I refer to the documentation of sys help on localization and try to get one of their simple examples of applications work, then add several channels in the localized .properties files and add more controls, and so everything has worked with the simple application, while you build the biggest app everything should still work, and if not, you can ask about specific problems.

• The IIOP listener/Manager with SSL security

  I'm looking in securing client connections CORBA to ISL/ISH with SSL. The client authentication is not required, just the server authentication and encryption. After reviewing the documentation, I have a few questions about it.
  
  1. the manual of ' security in the CORBA Applications using"indicates that an LDAP server is used as the repository of certificate for the certificate server ISL/ISH. Are there alternatives to this like using a key file or LDAP is the only option?
  
  2. is it possible to configure the LDAP server (server name, port, etc.) without having to re - install Tuxedo?

  Ian,

  Tuxedo uses a plugin framework architecture to manage the certificates and it is possible to replace the plugin framework implementations.

  In order to change the framework plugin interfaces that you need to get the information about the orders of FRP * and the framework of plugin, interfaces, and you will need to write code. Plugin framework documentation is made available on a basis as needed.

  As documented in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15261_01/tuxedo/docs11gr1/sec/secadm.html#wp1239453, "For more information about security plug-ins, including the installation and configuration procedures, see your Oracle account manager."

  The 'epifregedt g' command shows the current configuration of the plugin framework.
  The command "epifregedt g k SYSTEM/impl/security/BEA/certificate_lookup" simply shows security/BEA/certificate_lookup interface settings.
  The command "epifregedt g k SYSTEM/impl/security/BEA/certificate_lookup-a Params" shows that the parameters of this interface is instantiated.
  Suppose that the result of this command is

• Software for the disc md1000h of HP SimpleSave external hard

  Hello

  Due to some problems I had with double back-up on my hard drive, I decided to just format the hard drive and start on a table shaves.  However, I see the user guides on the support page for this product (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=4023091 & lc = on & cc = us & dlc = in).  Where can I access/download software?  Also, once that I have the software, what do I do with it?  Is it just a matter of unzip the contents of the file on the hard drive?

  I can tell you that it is something that HP is not easy for someone to find.

  Download link for the SimpleSave software for your model.

  EDIT: this link is no longer available, HP no longer provides the download.

  Unzip the content in the external drive HP, NOT your computer.

  The content contains an autorun.inf file that will allow the software to run when it is connected, if Windows is configured to allow autorun programs.

  If she's not autorun, you can open the external hard drive and click on the exe file yourself.

  There is a user manual in a folder of the zip file as Documentation that you can read. Look on page 6.

  This should do it for you.

  It will be useful.

• DLL and LVLIB

  Could someone explain what is the difference between DLL and LVLIB?

  One last thing:

  DLL * contain * shared code, means to distribute a library shared in this form, all you need to do is provide the 1 file (admitidly headers files and documentation are nice, but not essential).

  On the other hand LVLibs do not contain the actual code, they contain only a list of the screw which must be included (and where to find them) etc. So, to distribute a shared library LVlib you must include the file associated with lvlib AND the EIS.

  PS. LabVIEW 2010 has a new feature called packaged the project libraries that are very similar to dll libraries of regular project (LVLibs) - in simple terms, they are a lvlib and all its contents screws packed into a single file.

• OSX 10.5.8 & J6480... Sorry, scanner could not be initialized

  After several years of use of the scanner without problem, I can not scan documents on my HP J6480.  I'm on OSX 10.5.8

  I insert the document into the scanner J6480, my computer detects its presence and jumps to the top of the HP Device Manager window. However, when I click to scan, the program runs for a while and returns the message:

  Sorry, scanner could not be initialized.

  (Scanner not found)

  I suspect that what follows is related to the same problem. While trying to solve the problems of the control panel of the printer, I received the following message:

• How to specify the location of CSS with BlackBerry S/w Version 4.5

  I use version 4.5 software.

  I'm developing some login pages in html and to specify the location of the CSS file. Documentation, I noticed that the HTML tag does not support the rel attributes or the type attribute that you can set to the style sheet and text/css.

  How can we embark/link CSS in the html file?

  The link tag should work. Maybe the docs are wrong. Best way is to just try and see what happens.

  The example apperars using the fonts that come with the default file system, but only one file system documentation I can find so far is the native/documentation/playbook.

  This shows a simliar to UNIX file system, but does not provide detailed information about what resources native fonts are available.
