MP3.zip file, and when I right click on it, there is no option to extract the file.  I have compressed folders that contain pictures and tried to unzip them without success.  There is no option in the menu "right click" to extract the selected file.  My windows lack extraction or unzipping option?  Help, please!

  I am trying to extract a zip file I downloaded, but the option extract is no longer there.  I did so many times in the past with no problems.  The icon is also different, where it helps to have a folder with a zipper, it is now a white square with a picture of a computer inside.  I tried everything... someone please help!

• Photo Gallery will not open the zip file

  Hi all

  Someone sent me an email with 5 photos inside zip file.  I downloaded the attachment and open the file with photo gallery.  I watched all 5 images successfully.  When I tried to turn one of the pictures I noticed the button to rotate the image was gray.  I also noticed that the Photo Gallery menu everything is gray.  I closed the library and tried the process again.  Now all I get is the error response "Photo Gallery can't open this photo or video.  The file format is not supported, or you do not have the latest updates. "I tried to download it from the email once again, but just keep getting the same error response.  I can't open the zip file AT ALL and have no idea what to do.  I also tried Picasa to open the file, but here, the answer is "invalid image".  I'm sorry to say that I'm a novice on the actual technical stuff so go easy on me please :)  Thanks in advance for any help.

  Yes, I double click on the file and looked at the pictures.  Now, if I double click on I just get the error message.

  Two things to try:

  (1) slide the photos out of the file compressed in a new folder.

  (2) make a right-click the folder zipped and in the menu... Choose... Extract all.

  Restore and return the file Association in Windows Vista if Original

  1. click on Start and then type regedit in the start search and press ENTER.

  2. navigate to the following registry branch:

  Replace the [exe] with the real extension of the file you want to restore the file type association to return to the default Windows Vista original. If you are not sure, simply browse through all the Sub-touche under FileExts.

• I can't extract the zipped files, all I get is empty folders

  I use Windows 7.  I have not downloaded another file compression/extraction software, I use the built-in software.  If I try and open the zipped files by choosing the option "extract files" I wonder where I would like to save the extracted files.  I said where I want them to go, everything seems to be fine, I told me that the files are checked and and a new folder is created.  When I opened this case, however, I like that it is empty.
  Is - this from there anyway I can access the decompression software to see if something is wrong or there at - it an option to re - install?
  I am reluctant to introduce the third-party software zip that I use my laptop for my PhD thesis and I don't want to put in place something that will cause problems and send three years of work down the drain.

  I suggest you to do the same steps that Marilyn has suggested, just with the files themselves. In addition, instead of click to open files from Windows Explorer, choose any program is indicated for each file. For example, choose Microsoft Word .doc file. Etc.

• Could not load the .zip file in the media internal binary

  We are facing a problem in the application migrated to atg10.2 where Bcc we are not able to download the .zip in media-internal-binary file extensions.

  I went through the documentation that says it can be used for the .gif, .jpeg extensions, but we were able to use this feature in 9.2.

  So is it possible to customize it and allow zip files in the media internal binary?

  OK so got the mapping for this view and now able to load the zip file.

  The mapping of the view is AmPValImageExtensions. You must add the extension .zip inside with .gif, .jpeg.
