  Transfer from one machine to the other Adobe applications will not work.  You must install using the installation files and the serial number, you have the initial purchase.  It is possible that a program as old as PSE 8 won't install/work with a new operating system.

• Download the file on the PC is getting corrupted, what should I do?

  The last 2 days when my malware and anti-virus run their analyses, they pick questions with "internet downloads" which are placed in the file to download on my PC.

  Once the file is downloaded from the internet, can it be deleted?

  Is there a reason to have mega files in the download to PC folder?   I can always go back to the net and download again if necessary.

  If the scans are picking up problems with specific files that could be an indication of a problem with these specific files.

  Note: you will need to make the folders and hidden files visible in Windows Explorer or the Finder.

  Now I'm little reluctant to suggest the next bit, but I think that you have to remove this file, or at least change the extension to something like BAK.

  The bad is when the gradient does not work. Corrupted is when it will work only if pay you the money.

  Probably not. The problem you are experiencing is almost certainly that the drive itself has failed. It could have also been caused by third party software that you use to support a formatted NTFS volume. Isolate the cause to one or the other is probably not an effort worth it, because the files themselves are probably already damaged and unusable. In this case the only alternative to certain to succeed is to restore from a backup.

  As you know the Mac FAT32 and ExFAT supports and can read, but not write - formatted NTFS volume. For this reason, if you ask the Windows compatibility, you must select ExFAT.

  You could try using the third-party data recovery software, even if success is not guaranteed. I can offer no specific product recommendations.

• I get corrupted files indexing whenever I have access directly to the files on my system.

  I installed Windows 7 on a partition of a raid 0 with Windows XP on a second partition as a dual boot. The installer went well and all the drivers seem to work well. It seems anytime access to files via windows Explorer, my computer, etc., the indexing of files get corrupted. The system detects corruption and upon reboot it travels the disk repair utilities and deletes several files indexing, that it says are corrupt and the cycle goes round. I disabled the indexing on all partitions file and the problem got better but I still occasionally run the disc scan and correct indexing errors more. Everyone knows about this problem?

  Thanks for the reply on the community forum.

  Have you run any disk hard diagnosis tools that your hardware vendor can provide?  Initially, it sounds like there may be some bad sectors on the disks themselves hard.  If your system is under warranty, you may contact your provider and walk through a test of health with them.  If this is not the case, they have a tool on the site to help you with this.

  Don't forget a RAID 0 provides no redundancy so if any disk fails, without a State of full system / or all of the files you want to back up you are in danger of losing everything.  I want to make sure it is before much more is done, please make a good backup of all the data that you consider to be important for you on this system.

  In addition, if the material is not corrupted.  Check if the table that you created is corrupt.  Errors that you are declaring seem to indicate somewhere in this - table of data or hardware is damaged.  If chkdsk runs and can't find any error then it would be not significant to this procedure, but chkdsk running and to find errors, this is what is worrying.

  After checking if the material and the table are healthy, start in a clean boot state.

  Step 1: Perform a clean boot - this comes from an article in Windows Vista, however, the procedure is the same.  Don't forget to follow step 7 of this article, after the troubleshooting steps are made - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 Note if the computer is connected to a network, the network may be policy settings prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

  1. Log the computer by using an account with administrator rights.
  2. Click Start

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

If you still experience the problem, and all the steps listed above have been verified, run a tool to remove malware and VIRUS SCAN on all partitions in your operating system.  Check that there is no software of thugs on the system.

  Hello retabox, welcome.

  It would seem that the installer is corrupted. I recommend trying to use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to force - to remove the application. Try this:
  1. go to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
  2. click on the download link in the middle of the page
  3. save the file to your desktop or just click Run the installation of the application
  4. once the application is installed, open the utility. The utility must be located in the menu START under (START > programs > Windows Installer...)
  5. in the utility, find the application you want to uninstall, and then click the button 'delete' below
  6. once removed, restart the computer and see if you can reinstall the application

  My H/W is Dell XPS 13 / 9350, i7/6560U, 16 GB of RAM, Intel Iris 540, win 10 Pro (x 64) Ver.1607.

  I was running on Photoshop CC 2015 until recently updated to 2015.5 CC.

  I have had no problem of what Photoshop if running before the update.

  After the update I get corrupted photos photos 2 and 3 out of 10 when I run the Batch of sharpness.

  
  (the rectangular size is the same, but color, opacity or numbers vary from photo to photo...)

  This corrupt trend occurs more frequently especially if I run another photo, navigation program.

  The funny thing is, if I have smart sharpen with legacy checked above trend does not occur.

  But then I can't use function 'Noise' because it disappears if "Legacy" is ticked

  It also completely disappears if I uncheck the GPU or OpenGL in preferences, but there

  about 5 times as long to do the job.

  FYI, I have the latest video driver from Dell.

  If someone out there have a smart solution, it would make my day!
