File size would be much more image hidden in PDF format. [iOS]

When I use covert photo to the format converted PDF and the PDF file size then become much bigger. The original image file size is 2 MB, but become 5.2 MB PDF file size. I use iPhone6.

However when I am using funds acrobat to convert the same image and PDF file sizw almost the same as the original image file size.

Hi Brian,.

I created a bug for this issue report.  We will try to address the issue in a future version of Acrobat DC for iOS.

In the meantime, would you use the web interface to convert your photos into PDF files?

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone.
  2. Go to https://cloud.acrobat.com
  3. Sign in with your Adobe ID
  4. Select the create a PDF file.
  5. Press "select files to convert to PDF.
  6. Tap "choose the files on my computer".
  7. Select the photos that you want to convert.
  8. Tap done.

The converted PDF documents will be stored in the cloud of Document.

Please consult the following document to change the location of the file to cloud Document in Acrobat DC for iOS.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  Hope the option to create a PDF file via the web interface is a possible workaround for you.

  • How to remove the elements hidden in PDF format

    Hello

We use Acrobat 11 on Win7 Pro machine. We try to remove the hidden elements of a PDF file, we created.

Using the image/text editing control we usually change the view to page view mode 2 can then select hidden items and delete them. We do not see the items in the display of the 2 page, but clicking and dragging in the "empty space" in the document, choose which then allows us to manipulate them. These elements are not visible when you view the PDF file normally.

This time, we have a PDF file where we cannot select an image. We know that it is there, because when you try to trim the visible content, the hidden element is shown:

    crop.jpg

We want to remove the bars of color at the bottom of the page. Can anyone help us with this, please?

    Thank you!

I usually use the content pane for this - arrow down through content items and delete the ones I don't want. Not sure that this is the most effective way, just something that I found that works for me. I always work with a copy of the PDF file in case something goes wrong.

  • Filepath image display in PDF format

    Hello

I have converted a WebHelp-> Word 2007 document, apply a shape/style layout, then converted to PDF. I converted the Word doc using the "Create a PDF file-> file" option in Acrobat Professional 8.2.3

When the mouse over images in the PDF file, the path is displayed.  I don't want to. In fact, I don't want anythinig to display!  It is interesting to note the path points to the temporary directory that is created (! doc_tmp_folder_0) on my local machine (so it displays also, C:\Documents and Settings\ < MyName > \My Documents\...\!) SSL! \Etc). And this temp directory is not anywhere on my machine.

I looked around for some kind of location of the Image, both in Word and Acrobat, but I couldn't find everything I thought solved this problem.

    Thank you!

There is a solution to http://forums.adobe.com/message/3693331#3693331 but as you will see, it seems to create more problems.

  • Files and folders are much more difficult to manage than XP. Why?

Well, this Windows 7 is a real bastard. All the good things that XP had disappeared and the bad bits left in. Why can I not move the autour files? There is no button move. I can copy the file, but it means that I have to remove it from the current location.

With XP, I was able to bring the record down to the file and fill it from there. You may arrange the folders and files in any case I liked, not now if. It seems that all of this is intended to the strict alphabetical list only. In any case, I could change it?

Drag the files into folders is a bit in the dark. Your just about file in a folder and then change page. Oops, wrong file! When I record a file a file scrolling will turbo, Zipper directly past the folder that you want to place the file in. It is difficult to scroll slowly, without the roller past stupid. It does not help with this PC laptop HP Compaq Presario, with its sensitive task of turbo on the touchpad. Very poor design.

You can add the move to folder command in the context menu of Windows Explorer.

  • Disk/LUN - formatting: virtual image size = file size?

    Hello

I am trying to add storage to a vClient and I'm just stuck on a step in formatting.

As you can see in the joint, it asks me to put in place a "maximum file size".

It includes images of virtual machine?

Because I'm creating some server images which can reach more than 256 GB.

or is it just images .iso and other files that I could save on this storage?

    vm123.jpg

BTW, "based on the maximum size expected virtual disk" means that the maximum file size is also right on the VM image?

Yes, as mentioned earlier, the virtual disk to the virtual machine is just a hard on the data store file and you will need to select the block size in case you use VMFS-3, who maybe don't have sense if guests need to access the data store.

  • RAW to Jpeg file size rule

I wonder if there is a rule of thumb that can be used to predict the approximate size when exporting a raw file in Lr in a jpeg file.  For example, a raw average 25 MB file converting to about 5 MB jpeg with the export from Lr to 100 quality?  At about 3.5 MB with a quality of 80? …

I know that can vary in size, but when I export a collection of raw files, and I put the maximum file size for a certain amount, Lr sometimes converts images because I limited the size too small.  I would like to be able to get a handle on some sort of relationship quality/file size before you begin the export process.

I totally agree with Rob. JPEG file size limitation should not be used unless you absolutely care about the degradation of image quality. I can't imagine what application where it would be acceptable.

Effectiveness of any given quality setting JPEG compression is generally of the order of 5:1. Using a means of file size limit will be saved images with detail to very high quality setting (i.e. 90-100) and images with the details is saved to many parameters of lower quality (0-50). It's the exact opposite of what you want to do!

Unless you use a large file size limit size of exported JPEG images will probably visible JPEG artifacts. It's best to determine your threshold of acceptability for the JPEG artifacts (i.e. quality 50-70?) Use this quality setting for your exports without restriction of file size. The 'average file size' resulting will be less than with a larger file size limit.

Tips to reduce further the size of the exported JPEG images files:

    (1) use conservative sharpening in the modules to develop and export (i.e. not too narrow)

    (2) use the color and Luminance Noise Reduction sufficient settings to reduce visible noise in the image.

    (3) make sure that 'remove the Chromatic Aberration "is checked in the color of the lenses Corrections Panel."

Following the above suggestions can reduce the size of the JPEG file exported by 50% or more, especially for raw ISO images files high.

  • How to change the format of VOB file without loss of quality and file size of balloon?

I try to save a VOB file on a problematic DVD using first Pro CC 2015. Can anyone help me please with selecting the best export settings?

My goal is to maintain the quality and size of the file as close to the original as possible. I just need to change the file format to something I can easily view on my computer. Sometimes, he tries to simply change the extension from VOB to MPEG, but in this case, I edited (shortened) the original file so need to save again.

Most of the output options I tried drastically reduce quality or seriously enlarge the size of output file.

First gives me the following information from the source:

    Type: MPEG Movie

    File size: 675,20 MB

    Image size: 360 x 288

    Frame rate: 25.00

Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - stereo

Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - stereo

    Total time: 00:59:22:02

    Format of the pixels: 1.0940

AVI, quality 100 gives a file size of 12 GB. Source H.264 match - high bitrate gives a file size of 2 GB. Where does all that extra data?

Match sequence settings should be an obvious solution, but it gives me a slightly larger file (706,98 MB) with a sharp drop in quality.

If I select H.264, corresponds to the size of the original image and approach the source of all other settings as I can, the size of the resulting file is still much greater than if I drop the transmission speed. However, first does not show me bitrate of the source until I put it to maintain the same quality?

I want just the same file in a different format so that I can view them easily. Simple yet I have not been able to find a solution. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you very much, Berne

You can not avoid re-encoding. His first mpeg will not give you made smart on mpeg.

You need a different program if al you want to do is trim down.

Best Software MPEG video editor | TMPGEnc MPEG Converter Smart 4

Match sequence settings does exactly what it says. Your sequence (each) works with a codec to preview.

  • The Illustrator file size is 4 x size placed jpeg

It's weird. I have a jpeg CMYK placed in Illustrator. It is not embedded. The size of the jpeg is 6.6 MB. When I look at my Illustrator file size, it is 25.6 MB. Is there a way to get around this? I have other files with placed jpegs that only take into account data from Illustrator (vector, IE) into account. Any suggestions? Looks like a rookie question!

If you save without PDF compatibility and do not embed an ICC profile, your file size should be much smaller.

When you register with PDF compatibility, you are, indeed, incorporation of the image.

If you choose the compression option to save, the part PDF readable your .ai (with the embedded image) file, in fact, will compress down with other file data, offering a reduction in file size.

Whether you need compatibility PDF and/or a profile tag, only you can answer. You pay for them in the size of the file.

  • How can I add an image in pdf format that I am editing?

Hi, I am trying to add a series of images to a document, I'm editing and can seem to figure out how. Can I add a signature, but not a photo.

    Hi danc31190517,

You must use Adobe Acrobat software to add the image to the PDF format.

I'm trying to reduce the file size of a jpeg file, but the dialog box under image > image size reflects a much smaller that the file is. I saved the image after resampling and simplistic image, the pip size reduced to 72 and lowered the low quality only to see the minimum file size reduction. Why the dialog box in photoshop gives me a different file size than my computer and how do I solve this problem? Thank you!

The Image Size dialog box dialog box shows the uncompressed size.

Your operating system (Explorer/Finder) shows the size compressed. (size on the disk)

If you use save for Web, you can see the compressed size, but also an overview.

  • The size of the file using Premiere pro CC 2014 exported media is much more important than the estimate, is also much bigger than the first CS 6?

I used the preset H, 264 1080HD Youtube to export video. The estimated size is MB 7308. {(après que je réduis le nitrate)} The final size is 11,18 GB.

Why are so many different things? Befor I use the CS6 first for size simial use the same export format is about 6 GB.

Firstly, the estimated file size just an estimate based primarily on a combination of bitrate and duration. The actual size can vary considerably, in large part on the amount of change from image to image throughout the video. For example, if you encode two clips for a period identical to exactly the same settings, the only difference being the nature of the content - say on is an interview with talking head shot with the camera locked on a tripod, while the other is images skateboard turned into pocket - size of the two files of outputs that result will be widely divergent.

As for the comparison between CS6 and CC2014, note that the settings for the presets have been changed. For example, YouTube 1080 h.264 presets ranged from 8Mbps to 16.

  • Sizes saved in MAC much more than saved in PC files-is-it a solution?

    HI everyone-

I've searched and couldn't find an answer to this specific question so Im hoping I can be pointed in the right direction.  Appreciate any help with this issue.

A month ago got a MAC (I upgraded everything and have 12 GB of RAM so I know that's not the machine).  Before that, he used PC Win 7 ultimate - same deal-AMD Phenom quad core, 8 GB of RAM (I only say this because it says to say when posting - I do not have to be a "dummy")

Here's my question - I use CS5 on the MAC and the PC.  I have layers of TIFF files that ultimately save in JPEG format.  I noticed that when Im saving these files to TiFF to JPEG on the MAC, they are bigger than when I do the same thing-same settings, etc. in the PC.

Here is what Im doing - I have my file open TIFF, I flatten it, file - save as - JPEG.  I got the same exact file and put it on the two machines to see exactly what the difference was, and here is what I received when I chose the quality of 8 under Image Options:

On the MAC, the size of the file is 264,2 K

On the PC, the file size is 137.0 K

WHY?  How can I get him to stop?  I must have these files under a certain amount when I download them and my MAC is my main computer, so I need to find a solution.

Maybe someone can help with this?

    Thank you in advance!

    Susan

  • Sequences of images - they are heavy in file size? Alternatives to a Ken Burns effect?

We are building a digital magazine for a client who has about 50 performances. Each show has about 3-5 images which would like to see featured in Ken Burns style, a kind of zoom/pan slow and then it fades to the next image that also pan/zooms. This must be done in the background of any content above. My solution at the beginning was to simply do a sequence of images and have it loop. This allows me to have the content above as a MSO.

My application is currently to 212 MB with a bunch more pages before that... I wonder how much weighs image are sequences? If I had to do about 15 second sequence of images all the performance (there are 50 of them) it would be a huge file size app? If so, what are my alternatives to be?

Here is a screenshot just for reference... the image behind this content should be the "slides" - movement

Thanks a lot for any help in advance.

You should try rendering a video instead, and see if it works best for the size of your file. By rendering a video you could listen to from a server instead of having to cook in the folio.

  • The file size of Photos library don't to shrink when I remove the images from the library

Subject line pretty much sums up it.  Let's say I have create a library of Photos and import of 100 photos. The file "Library.photoslibrary Photos" grows to a certain size, as expected. But if I remove some of these pictures does not take the size of the file photoslibrary. If I import images more library file grows again, but it never reduces when I delete the images from the library. This happens with both a library of referenced files and images copied to the library.

    What happens here?

You must either wait 30 days or go to the recently deleted album and remove not for the final to do deletion

and note that Photos doesn't manage referenced good libraries, it was reported here that they can use more space than a managed library and they are not recommended
