FileReference and path of the selected file

Hello

I use the FileReference class to browse a file from the file system. I would like to get the path of the selected file, but it seems impossible because of security problem.

Isn't there any hope to do?

Thank you very much

Greetings

Hello

There is no possibility to get the path of the file selected for security reasons... However, you can only get the name of the file you selected.

If this post answers your question or assistance, please mark it as such.

Thank you

  • The selected file cannot be linked because there 6 audio channels, and the clip was created with 2

    I tried to link the MTS files to a project that I have edited with AVI files. I got the message "the selected file cannot be bound because it has 6 audio channels and clip was created with channel 2/channel" audio. Does anyone know what I need to do?

    I had this problem and the cause in my case, it was that I changed all my clips in the project are mono audio channels. When I tried to swap the originals with proxies, I did, I had a similar message for the clips that have been affected by the designation of channels. I opened the project and selected all my media items in the project window and changed all the audio back to 'use the file' and that did the trick for me.

    If you ask how a file on the remote site via FTP without FTPing any dependent files?  That the answer is Yes, you can do this by changing the SITE > dependent files: option in the PREFERENCES to enable the option "prompt on put/check-in."  The next time you download a file, you will be asked if you want to also download dependent files.  If you say NO and check the don't ask again option, then you will always simply load the file and not the dependents. The use of the files managed by Oracle
    Internally, Oracle uses standard file system interfaces to create and delete files if necessary for the following data structures:

    * Tablespaces
    * Online redo logs
    * Control of files

    Through initialization parameters, you specify the directory of file system to use for a particular file type.
    EXAMPLE:
    The following parameters are included in the initialization parameter file:

    DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST = ' / u01/oradata/sample.
    DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1 = "/ u02/oradata/sample.
    DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_2 = ' / u03/oradata/sample.

    The following statement is issued at the SQL prompt:

    SQL > CREATE a DATABASE sample.
    SQL > CREATE TABLESPACE tbs_2 DATAFILE SIZE 400 M;
    SQL > CREATE UNDO TABLESPACE undotbs_1;

    RE: iTunes and WMP - MusicBridge

    Found this on the web. I can't vouch for it. Use it at your own risk.

    Excerpt:
    iTunes is not compatible with Windows Media Player. iTunes is - like Apple-very protective of any product and does not like to share. So, you have to force off iTunes and WMP.

    To do this, you can use this sloppy program: MusicBridge.
    The description of its creator:
    MusicBridge allows people who use both iTunes and WMP on the same machine to keep their libraries in sync. MusicBridge offers a variety of synchronization options so that you can manage your collection of music in the media player, or both. MusicBridge duplicates of meta-data between Windows Media Player and iTunes, it does not copy the physical files between applications.

    Version 2.0.1 is a bug fixing release.

    Best thing: it's free.

    convert the songs in your iTunes library to a format that Windows Media Player can understand

    You can convert the songs in your iTunes library to a format of Windows Media Player can understand - (I tend to use mp3). This can be done inside of iTunes itself. If the songs in your iTunes library were purchased in the iStore and were purchased in the plus version (indicated by a small sign above the price of a song +), then they are DRM free, so they can be converted easily. However, if the songs were not purchased in the format more, you can convert them for 30 cents each. I highly recommend that you do as the plus version of songs are premium quality - and since they are DRM free, you can use them in almost all applications and you can burn them to CD and play almost anywhere. All the songs on the iTunes store are now version more, so you don't have to worry about searching for them in the future.
    To convert songs to Windows Media Player can understand, open iTunes, and then do the following:
    1. click Edit, preferences, and go to the general tab
    2. click on the button "import settings".
    3. change the "import using" at "MP3 encoder".
    4. click OK and go back to your music library
    5. choose the list view and select the first piece of your library
    6. scroll all the way to the last song in your library
    7. press the button SHIFT key, then click the last song to select all the songs in your library
    8. click on "Advanced" and then "Create MP3 Version."
    9. your songs should start to convert and according to how many songs do you have in your library, this could take some time
    10. open Windows Media Player and press F3 or click file, add it to the library

    11. click on OK - Windows Media Player should start to search for songs on your computer and after that he finished the search, you should find the songs in your library in your Windows Media Player to iTunes library.

    NOTE: This method will not work unless you have purchased iTunes songs or if you have converted the songs iTunes more for each 30 c

  • Cannot import the selected file. Refer to the documentation...

    Hi all

    Of the very basic knowledge on Adobe products please bare with me! We have deployed v8 Adobe Captivate our users to test and when they try to take a PPTX file and turn it into an interactive e-learning courses, it fails with the message:

    "Cannot import the selected file. Refer to the documentation to ensure that you have installed the correct version of microsoft office.

    We have the SP2 of Microsoft Office 2010 (x 86) installed Adobe Captivate 8 before us. We tested and this works if the user uses a PPT file (2003 / 2007 Compatible file) which is a workaround but isn't ideal because they then lose the functionality of 2010!

    Anyone can confirm that Captivate 8 supports Office 2010, or this is exactly why we have this problem?

    V9 does support Office 2010 if this is the case, as if a patch is not solve this problem, then we recommend the customer to go to the product V9. One thing is that we use 32-bit with 64-bit Captivate Office but the fact that it works with legacy PPT I doubt it is the origin of the problem.

    Thank you!

    ChrisW

    As far as I saw, 9 Captivate does not handle this better than 8 Captivate.  But you can check it out yourself by downloading and installing the Cp9 trial version and see if that will import your PPTX.

    A few other suggestions for you:

    • Make sure you run Captivate (regardless of version) using the command run as administrator.
    • Also set PowerPoint to be launched using run as administrator.
    • Don't try to import a huge PPT or PPTX.  Do your tests on something small, say 10 or 20 slides.  This will alleviate the question if you really do turn into is a matter of PC resources.
    • Test with PPTs very sober.  Captivate imports can stumble on some objects incorporated into the PPT Slides.  So just having pictures, text, and anything else in your PPT test.
  • Small batch. Review, edit and save to the desktop file.

    I have 50 or more photos of the weekend. I have already created an Album called 'Birthday 2015' and all images imported into this Album.  I want to review them and keep the top 25 or more.  Then cultures, change and save these 25 only to a folder on my computer desk. I want to move this folder over to a SD card or USB key to send to a family member. They want just the photo files, not a slide show or anything like that.  I want to keep the originals of all 50, as well as the finite set of 25.   This will be my first time using Photoshop elements 13 for what that this or another can touch a single image to print at home.   What is the process for this?  It is an 'event', a 'project' I drop the unwanted, those of the Album (how I do that) or simply to 'save' the finished a separate desktop file I'll?  How do I "save under" the picture over to the desktop file?

    Thank you

    Mike

    Mike,

    The two following tips should help you:

    -1- creating a new album of an existing

    An album in your current catalog is a list of files, just like a playlist for audio files. If you want a selection (a subset) of these files, you simply create an empty album. Select the view original album, select the required pictures (easy if you have assigned a given star) by the shortcut Ctrl A, and then drag and drop in the new album of emptiness.

    -2-hourly using 'Export' of the Organizer.

    What you want to do, who prepares the files to a new location or media selected, is called "exporter" in the elements or Lightroom.

    When you're in the Organizer, select the thumbnails (highlighted), you must use the menu file/export or the shortcut Ctrl E. The dialogue then you box will allow to choose not only the target medium or the folder where you want to copy your files. More important still, it allows you to choose the file format and size of the exported files and it can rename them in order to preserve the custom in the album sort order.

    Which is a bit more complex is to work with the original and edited versions if you have version ' sets ' and albums at the same time. If you do not use version sets, no problem. You export originals and files published in two different lots with different subfolders.

    If you use sets of version, which means that the edited versions are attached to the original and you have chosen the version to display at the top of the version set in the navigation area. It is only as the displayed version which is exported. People are generally perplexed when they create sous-albums as described above. Whether you have your album ready for export with the edited versions. You want to export the original separately in a different folder. This would mean that you change the display order of versions to show the original as "top version" for each image. The information about the item "top version" are independent albums: If change you in one album, if the photos are also included in a different album, the 'top' of the version will also change.

    The simple solution if you want to export original and edited separately versions would be to export original first, then do the editing and export the edited versions shown in your albums.

    Once you have the version sets in your albums, you can't easily get to the originals. This would mean using the menu edition/version the value to be converted into individual elements and lose the link between the original and edited version.

    I should mention that the use of the albums is a way to use the Organizer to export your selected objects.

    If you are using categories and keywords, you can select (highlight) your files and export as explained above.

    You can also use the menu file/export to media removable (Ctrl + Shift + O) to copy to flash drive or SD card.

  • I can't export my files (raw, jpg, tiff, any). always a notification "the path of the exported file cannot contain special symbol '='. ' is displayed. Why? I don't know what is the path to the file. at least, file name is not special symbol.

    The path of the file is the full description where the file is located in the language of the operating system, including drive, directory and file name and extension.

    In the above example, the file path combines the two circled items-"E:\Webpix" and "BleedingHeart.JPG", the path to the file would be "E:\Webpix\BleedingHeart.JPG".  If you do not have an equal sign in the name of the file, you must have one in the folder or the equivalent.

  • In the Air of iOS, which is the path to the included file that exceeds the .fla file folder?

    I have the 'assets' above 'src' folder folder where the .fla file is. The assets folder is included through air iOS publish setting in Adobe Flash Professional CS6, but I'm having trouble accessing it.

    the directory structure looks like this. Main.As is the class of document for my project.

    c:
      /project
        /assets
        /bin
        /lib
        /src
          /Main.as
          /Main.fla

    Now, if the project was a project of action script, I can normally access the assets folder using a path like "... / assets. But it says in the Air for iOS project, that the file is not there.

    In the iOS Air publish setting window, it indicates the path to the included file is 'c:\project\assets' while when I move the active folder under folder src, he says just 'active' and then it can be accessed simply by using a path like '\assets '.

    Does anyone have an idea where the included file?

    It was that I had to simply put "/" in front of the track. I was able to access the directory of iOS using ' / assets "instead of just"active "... I still need to use ' c: / project/assets "to access the directory from my local pc from my directory the document root is ' c: / project/assets/src" but I guess that's no big deal. Thanks for your advice.
