  Absolutely, as a Director on a Mac can open a .dir performed on a Windows computer. When you say "dcr file" I guess that is to be hosted in a browser page and read by the Shockwave plugin.

  I have a question where the record of recent items (Start/Recent Items) shows not all files that are created in Office 2010 or converted in this format. All other files (for example, .xls, .doc, .pdf) are displayed, but it's not Office 2010 files.
