• Links to files such as PDF files won't open

  When I click on a link to a file as a PDF file, I see a momentary large green arrow top right of the screen and that's all that happens. I have to go to my download folder to search for the file. The file used to open, that is what I want it to do. I have Firefox 20.0.1.

  I have Vista Home premium Arelatifs ie 8 service pack 2.   could open the wmv files as attachments to mail to Charleston suddenly get incorrect parrameters consignment.

  WMV files are not open on the desktop or documents.  I have recently installed media monkey program to make a music cd.

  I tried of leaving IE but no joy there.    Is it possible that I could get out of windows 11 media and reinstall?  I do not know how to achieve the correct setting as indicated for the cause of the problem, Appreciate your help.

• After the last update any pages files won't open

  After the last update, I can't get pages to answer, and it will not be open to all the old files.  Help please!

  What specific version of Pages do you use on El Capitan. You need to know that before I can answer.

• PDF files won't open

  After doing some cleaning on my Win32 XP Pro, all of my pdf files now will not open. I get a message with the following three money titles and a string of code after each:

  MD5
  SHA-1
  Can someone please?

  CRC, MD5, SHA-1 are all related to the methods of control of the integrity of a file. It seems rather strange to get these values when you try to open the files.

  I have two suggestions (although I have never seen or heard of your particular problem, so I'm not offended if you ignore them):

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Foxit Reader.  I could do this go to the control panel > Add / Remove Programs (you can also go in the Foxit installation folder, for example,. Software\Foxit C:\Program Foxit Reader and uninstal.exe running) and then download, install and the trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro running.  Use the function "forced uninstall", but read the manual first.  After that you are reasonably confident that everything is as clean as possible, download and install the latest version of Foxit Reader.

  2 ask for help in the forum of Foxit Reader (which seems to have been overwhelmed by a fan of the NFL) or (b) of support Foxit.

• Help! Files won't open Raw Adobe Photoshop cc

  My computer ran a big update today and I went to make some changes more, my files will open in adobe raw as usual, but when I click on open a cc image opens, but there is no picture. My JPEG files saved opens not in cc.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a lot of work to do.

  Please try and reset the Photoshop preferences.

  Steps to follow:

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

• XI Acrobat: PDF files won't open in Office 2010.

  I recently installed Acrobat XI om my computer with Microsoft Office 2010. Internett in Office 2010 PDF does not, why not?

  In fact, none of the Microsoft Office 2010 applications has no ability to open PDF files.

  For 2013 Microsoft Office Word has a capacity to open PDF files, create a Word document as well. That being said, the loyalty of these conversions is very poor, especially when all the graphics are involved.

  In addition, Acrobat provides a way to export PDFs to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats with the caveat that you probably need to edit the result for meaningful use. The results are certainly much better than is possible in PDF from the word 2013 opening capability!

• CC 2014 .aep files won't open with AE CS6

  I have a file for Adobe After Effects, I was working for the class, but I couldn't work on it at the College last week because of spring break so I used the CC trial that they had learned from this Web site for my laptop. Today, when I tried to open it on one of the computers in college that have CS6 software version, it does not open. I get this error that says:

  You must register to the rear. 2014 CC (which is version 13) can save in version 12 (which is CC). Then you open it in the version 12 (CC) and save it to version 11 (CS6).

• Very old file won't open - lack of operands, etc.

  I have a file created in 1995.  It is stored on my hard drive since then and probably open one or twice since its inception.  I tried to open it earlier and I keep getting messages that say that he ran out of the operands and other such things.  The oldest backup version is a little more than a year and it's the same way.  I can see the full preview of it in the Finder, but when he opens up all I can see is maybe 5% of the objects that are in the file.

  Is it possible to recover it?  It would save me a TON of work if I could.

  New problem today... cannot open my files TIFF, JPEG or EPS in Photoshoped. We ' receive an error message.

  It's my best guess at this point. Try this. If it does not, the other troubleshooting steps (restore prefs, troubleshoot permissions, etc.) are also good things to try.

• .dng files won't open full-size in PS CC

  I worked with Canon. CR2 files and later Adobe .dng files for years and could always open them in Photoshop. Now, with PS CC, open files as small previews (420 x 280 px) instead of the size. This means that I can not work with my photos! I have not found a setting in bridge or in PS to correct this.

  Have you checked your options of workflow of ACR (blue-link at the bottom of the ACR) to see if there is some resizing, go?

  When I try to open mov. files in Audition they fail. The error message says this dynamic media link server is unresponsive and suggests that I have untick use dml server in my preferences. I did, but it still doesn't work. Please any suggestions? I need help

  Is it with hearing CC?  If you work with OS X 10.6.x?  Hearing CC (or more precisely, the DynamicLink hearing Media Server Library invokes for the import of video files) requires OS X 10.7 or more.  CC of hearing will take place in 10.6, but import of video files is not available.

• Some .dng files won't open in PS/ACR

  I have version 5.6 of Adobe Camera Raw.  I am using PS CS4 Ext both 64 and 32 bit running on 64-bit Windows 7U.  Version of Lightroom is 2.6.   All Adobe applications are fully updated.

  I have a lot of files .dng sample from the book of Scotty Kelby for Lightroom 2 training.  All these files are visible and editable in Lightroom 2.6, but only some are editible and viewable in Bridge/PS.  The rest give and error (in PS) that it cannot be opened because it is the wrong type of file.  ACR does NOT open.  In Bridge, right click on the image icon doesn't 'open with ACR' available as one of the options.

  Anyone know why Bridge & PS are 'problems' with these .dng files?

  I don't know why all these files are named as. DNG; He must be a fool on behalf of JPEG and PSD as DNG files. In any case, Exposure.dng is a JPEG file. SaveYourPresetsx, UsingClarity and VirtualCopies are the PSD files. The others are good Nikon D3 files to DNG.
