If you've noticed here exist a few pots of Weblogic, all of these files were added by steps, that means that the process was:

    2 analyze the errors

    3. Add the missing jar file

    4. run again

    Hello

I can't say for sure, but it sounds like you have the same library placed in folder application library web and common Tomcat library directory. Depending on where you place these libraries, they will be charged by the classloader of the application or the parent Tomcat ClassLoader.
In other words, I believe that you have a loaded library file lib webapplication instead of the loading in the parent ClassLoader.

  • Problem with competent inputFile in Jdeveloper 11g ADF

    Hello

I use a competent inputFile in jsff page where the user can browse the file system, select the file in order to to store in the database.

I created a method of valueChangListener for this component which deal with this file and place it in db.

    The problem is:

Once the user selects the file it appears for one second in the page it disappears and the valueChangeListener is not called.

Note: the AutoSubmit regularity is set to true for this competent. I use jdeveloper with ADF 11g.

    Thank you

    Hello

I guess you are missing the usesUpload property for the tag form enclosing in your page:

    It will be useful,
    Jose.

  • Migration of application (using the Trinity) 11G ADF Rich Faces

    Hi all

We have recently completed the migration of the ADF/JSF application of 10G, hosted on OAS to Trinidad hosted on WebLogic Server 11G. Next step is to move from the Trinity to rich faces.

    1. our request is not too complicated, but it's not too straight forward or the other. It is interfaced with Oracle BPEL and DRM (data relationship management) and has 20 + pages. Is there a way to estimate how much time/effort is required for this migration?

    2. automatic migration of 10 g and 11 G (usingTrinidad) was quite chaotic. What kind of effort is migration 11G application using ADF Rich Faces trinidad? What is the meaning of ' you have to manually re-doing the UI "?"

If any of you have done this kind of migration, please share your experiences.

    Thank you

One thing to think is maybe rethink your UI. ADF Faces 11 g can create a radically different compared to 10 g interface or Trinity - think of things like accordions, dispatchers, dashboards, tabs, pop-up windows on the plan of the presentation of the user interface and the ability to have much more than information on one page. Add to this the ability to dynamically switch the content of a page with dynamic regions and offered by taskflows reusability.
So if you really want to take advantage of the components 11g you should look at what UI you wanted to create with these abilities then redraw your user interface and redesign so that it matches this.
Your model and business services cannot stay the same no need to touch.

  • Where is the HTML of JDeveloper 11g ADF FACES?

I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 for my project. I remembered in 10g I a list of HTML tags such as, afh:tableLayout, afh:cellFormat, etc. under ADF FACES HTML package. However, in new JDeveloper 11 g, I saw that ADF carrots and there is no ADF Faces HTML tag. They are always available in 11g? If so, how can I install these tags in JDeveloper 11 g?

You will need to add the components of the Trinity to your project - tags are there.
But the question is if you really need to use these components, or maybe the layout components that provide the ADF Faces will be enough for you.

  • 11g ADF Faces on server SOA Oracle 10g deployment

    Respected by all,
I have 10g Oracle SOA server, I want to set up a portal with ADF Faces and deployed on Oracle 10 g SOA Server.

    (1) ADF Faces Version can I use? (10g or 11g)

    (2) what should I take the JDeveloper 10 g or 11 g for my development license?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Vijay chraibi

    Vijay,

    (1) 10 g. 11g NO - it is well documented that 11g does not work on the server 10g

    (2) I am not a representative of Oracle license, but if I understand JDeveloper licenses, simply to allow for the deployment of the FAD, not development. You can buy support for JDeveloper, however. Best thing is to get an official response from your Oracle Sales Rep, however.

  • How to duplicate a search field in the Oracle 11g ADF?

    Hello Experts,

I created an ADF application with option "ADF query with table pane. I have a requirement to reproduce the field even one for "superior to" and another for "lower to." In this case, I need to duplicate the Sales Date twice for research between some days. Please notify.

In the object view go to the application tab and create display criteria. View, criteria, you can add the attributes you want to use to search for and you can repeat any attribute.

DataControl expand the view--> named criteria object and drag the display on page criteria in the query with Table pane

  • How to change the name of search criteria in the Oracle 11g ADF?

    Hi Experts,

I created an application ADF using the option "Request ADF with table Panel" to a search page. By duty, I have to remove a few fields and change the existing name fields.

    Please notify.

    Thank you

    David Selvaraj

You can change just the tips of the user interface in the t (if you want to change the name in the search and the results).

If the requirement is only to change the names in the search section, follow what Timo has suggested.

    See you soon

  • Reg: Export data in excellent in 11g ADF application.

    Hi all

We have developed an ADF 11 g application that retrieves the data from database in table form. Now, we have an obligation to export the data in an excel sheet.

Can someone help us please in this regard.

    Thank you

    Hi Harsha,

You can use component to do so. Set the exportedId property to point to the table. You have options to export all the rows or only selected lines.

  • logging of 11g ADF

    Hello

How to use ADFLogger in ADF 11 g?

    Thanks in advance

It's to you how you want to do, but I think that the common practices are to create a log by class or by functional grouping of classes. It's all your choice, but more granular, you create loggers, control more, you can have shooting on or pieces of logging.

  • Jdev 11G ADF BC: rollback and keep the current line problem

    Hello

I have 2 pages of tabs in the application. The second is a page change that has a master detail data set can be changed and 2 buttons - submit and rollback.

Submit button is a validated method from the viewImpl.java that will save your changes and keep the currently selected line.
Cancel button is also validated method of the viewImp and the restoration on the changes and keep the line currently selected.

There is a validator that is set up for a component on this page. When user input is not valid and that the user clicks on the "Restore" button, the error message appears and stays there until a valid value is entered.

How can I restore without validating any component. In a Word, how to disable the validator when you click on restore.

    Thank you very much

    Annie

I would suggest trying to use Steve code as is in the view object in beforeRollback, afterRollback.
It works very well with the button restore default
Maybe the problem is that you made the restoration of the Interior of the view object.
You can also find a script to test for 11g in [http://adfbugs.blogspot.com/2009/09/range-paging-and-restore-current-row.html]

  • Jdev 11G ADF BC: user leaves the page with a dirty transation?

    Hello

A web application from merger is created using Jdev 11 G (Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090615.0017.5407). An adf - config.xml is created with a unlimited workflow with 2 tab pages. A page template is also used in this application.

The first tab is a query with results, has a criteria of the query at the top, and a master set of results below detail.

When the user finds the master record to the right and details, they click on 'Edit' tab to make a few changes to the game on the Edit tab.

Under the tab edit, there are 2 buttons - 'submit' and 'Cancel '.
Submission is a save and validation, which is made on the side server, because I want to save the selected after registration and validation (commitAndKeepingCurrentRow()) record.

The Cancel button is a reset button in case the user does not want to save the changes that they "ve done and want to get out.

    My question is:
When a user makes a few changes and do not click on 'Submit' or 'Cancel' and try to leave change page, how can I know? There is a "isDirty" method that can be said in time the transaction is dirty. When should I call it?

    Thank you very much
