  XFAF designates a PDF with XFA (static shapes) content.

  In the designer, you can save your form designs in dynamic form (PDF XFA) or static form (PDF).

  The static are also sometimes appointed XFAF.

  I created a PDF form with multiple pages. I started with an Illustrator file, then exported to Acrobat to make it complete. For some reason any, however, when users enter text on the first page and try to continue on the other, the text on the first page only auto copies on the following pages.   I am fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have drop them downs named. Copy you a then keep stick in each area? If so, that's the problem. You must rename each with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think this might solve the problem.

  You can not buy the CERL component out of the web. As far as I know that you must contact the sales department in your geographic area and to determine which modules you want to buy.

  I don't know if the trial here, includes the CERL component, if you have to pay an additional fee to Adobe for each form that is activated through reader CERL.

  I don't have a CERL, so cannot advise on the process.

  I have Briefcase with some pdf forms to fill in it. This portfolio is generated via the LiveCycle services.

  All these forms of pdf have the equivalent fields. For example: portfolio consists of pdfX, pdfY, pfdZ. And each pdf fillable field "userName".

  And it is not practical for a user to put the same data to each pdf form.

  The user wants to put data only for the first pdf. Thus, other pdf forms must be filled with the data automatically.

  And there is one restriction: the user cannot send portfilio on the server, so automated all changes must be made on the client side.

  So, is it possible to solve this task?

  Yes you can import data to a PDF file from another data file using option "Import data" in Acrobat. AXI supports the .fdf, the .xfdf, the .xfd, .xml and .txt file formats.   OK, Acrobat and the Acrobat SDK kit are not for the server. But Alice has produced s called LiveCycle business that had a Java API. This can help. It's enterprise software and not the same as LiveCycle Designer. There is also the Adobe PDF Library, which is C++.
