• Photoshop opens the dialog box when you try to fill a layer with locked transparent pixels

  This script should set the layer to lock transparent pixels and then fill the layer with a color. She is doing this, except when it is in the filling phase, it opens the dialog box fill, and you have to hit OK.

  If you omit the transparent pixel line, it works as not expected, no dialog boxes.

  Is there a way to remove the box? Or I'm doing something wrong, which is causing the box to open?

  Not sure why this is happening.

  But I would recommend blocking the above and using the AM code for a fill that pays tribute to transparency.

  If you want this color "background" to print or export, you need to draw the rectangle.

  If you don't want to print or export, you can use the option simulate a colored paper in the transparency in all documents options upward. Set just two boxes of opacity of the same color grid.

  You should be able to use live paint, or you can select line (make sure it is long enough) and object > divide objects below, to get two independent semi-circles meet.

• I was dreaming when I used to create a new transparent layer, then go to the EDIT menu > FILL and fill the layer with a color.

  For the days last 5 or more, I am unable to do so. I just reinstalled photoshop to see if it worked but still not good. Anyone else had or having this problem?

  I have a new layer consisting of 540 "frames" (not yet technically frames, only the first is a framework. "It's like a default layer in a new project).

  How can I select the whole layer so I can transform all its 'frames' key frames?

  I know I can drag-select, but it takes time until it reaches the 540e framework.

  Shift-click on image 2 and while you hold down the SHIFT key click 540 (to select the frame), right click, click on convert (NO insert) to keyframes (or convert to blank keyframes).

  That was done in photoshop using shape for filling behind the text tool, then I selected the text box and hit reverse selection and remove the layer of filling of the form selection.

  How can I do this, I've been playing with pathfinder for a bit and can't get what I want.

  3. fill transparent areas with your color by using the pot of live paint group

  4. optional you can develop it later if you wish. It's fast and easy.

  Hi all

  I'm kinda a noob and following a tutorial... and found something strange and I wonder if you could help me understand what is happening.

  I have Photoshop CS6 extended on a macbook pro (late 2011).

  I am running OSX v 10.7.5

  I'm the long and the instructor has added a new layer. I did it.

  He then filled the white layer which is its background color (it has foreground black, white background). I have same evidence / background colors.

  Now I thought on mac to fill with the foreground color, you hit Apple + Delete and to fill it with the background, press Option + delete

  It's the exact OPPOSITE for me. I hit Apple + DELETE (or even BACKSPACE) and filled it with my background color, which is white

  If I hit Option + DELETE (or RET.), filled it with my foreground color.

  I tried searching in the area of keyboard shortcuts change... but I do not see these settings anywhere.

  I have an external keyboard plugged into my mac. It is a 3rd party one, but seems otherwise never function normally.

• A selection of Alpha channel with the color of foreground fill layer

  This question is more theoretical, because I found a work around. On a layer, I have a gray color, that I sample, and it becomes the desired foreground color.

  I would like to fill a selection in an Alpha channel with this gray color.

  However, when I view the Alpha channel, my forground color is lost for black and white, I understand, because the Alpha channel is a grayscale image.

  But I'm able to taste a shade of gray to a foreground color, but how can I keep my chosen original Gray selected from a layer? The only way I know would be to make a new shade and then use it when I'm in the channels.

  Don't know what you're saying. Sampling the RGB would eventually produce the colors 'Sales', aynway. This apart, of course sampling one color produces 3 values for all 3 components that define the color that can be applied directly onto a single channel a sense or the other. If you must have an 'academic' way to fix, you need to associate mathematics channel as for example combining the Red layer with Alpha using calculations of the image or creating a separate channel which holds the light / gray value. However, if your swatch method works for you, I see no reason to geek. Sometimes simple, hacky techniques are most effective...

  I suspect that you are in grayscale. Go to Image > Mode and change to RGB.

  Make sure that the image is not in gray mode.

  If it is to change it to RGB mode.

  Image-> Mode-> RGB

  You can set the polygon tool to 3 sides, or use the pen tool.
