Fill the transparent parts of a police

Hello

Similar to this: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4447067

I need to be able to fill out the white parts of this text/fonts:

artwork.jpg

With a reddish color, according to the guidelines of this screenshot:

Artworkred.jpg

But I need to remove the bottom piece surrounding the letters and have this:

Artredwhite.jpg

That was done in photoshop using shape for filling behind the text tool, then I selected the text box and hit reverse selection and remove the layer of filling of the form selection.

How can I do this, I've been playing with pathfinder for a bit and can't get what I want.

Thank you!

1. describe the police

2 convert to live paint group

3. fill transparent areas with your color by using the pot of live paint group

4. optional you can develop it later if you wish. It's fast and easy.

  • "Draw the fate-in" function fills the erroneous part of the text with the image.  How to reverse?

Hi there and thanks for the help in advance!

I used a font called "postcard from holidays NF.  (Police of holiday card mailing NF by Nick Fonts - FontSpace)

I'm trying to put an image in the white part of the police, but when I use the function "match zero" and place the image, it fills in the black part of the police instead, that I would stay black.

How to choose the other portion of the police (white part) to be filled with the image?

Here is an example of what happens.  Thanks again!

    Untitled-2.gif

For a policy like that, you will need to separate forms of letter (white) from their shadows. It will, therefore, describe the type and transparent records release.

A new compound of all the white letters and use it as a clipping mask.

  • the transparent parts of component prevents mouse events

    Hello

I work with a bunch of components that are superimposed on top of eachother.

Some of the components are odd-shaped and with a transparent background.

When I try to click on items that are causing others the mouse event is not fireing.

is there a way I can fix this?

    Drew

There is a difference between transparent and no background background.  If I take a Sprite and draw a triangle filled like this:

    moveTo (0,0)

    lineTo (100, 100)

    lineTo (100, 0)

    lineTo (0,0)

Then any component under half, I don't draw is 'visible' mouse and my Sprite get not mouse events.

If I fill this area with a background with alpha = 0, so I actually placed a piece of glass in my component and it will get the mouse events, even if you can see through things behind him.

Here is an example of the police.  Any help is appreciated.

    Text Sample.JPG

Several ways. You can use the magic wand tool to select the transparent areas in the text: use contiguous, then move click here to make the next letter. You should maybe put a white layer below the sample text and use all layers. Extend selection when done and fill a layer below the text with the desired color.

  • Make the white parts of a transparent image in Illustrator?

I have an image (a logo), I have saved as an .eps. The file has been given to me, and this is the only file that I have access to. The logo is very, very simple, mostly text with only two horizontal bands, so all colors/shapes are strong and clearly defined. There are also two colors in the logo (three if you include white space). I would like to somehow saves a version of the image where the white part of the image become transparent so that I can put on different backgrounds, colored in different publications without having a big white box, but no matter what I try, I can't do the white part of the logo to be transparent. Is it possible to do this? I have access to Illustrator, Indesign, and if you have a crazy solution, MS Office and MS Paint.

you don't need the linked file. When you open in illustrator, it will say that it is absent. Select extract from the options. When the file is opened, select the linked file and add him. This will give you the art of working with.

Edit: Sorry, it is not condensed. but it is some form of grotesque

  • The part of report of a report region table setting to fill the region

I need to make them with any part of the report, the section of report fills the width of the region, the column spacing all also in the entire region.

The screenshot below shows the report occupies only a small part of the region. I need the region to this width to maintain the page layout consistency between pages.

I can change the CSS so that it affects

    . Report-standard-alternatingrowcolors {}

    Width: 750px;

    }

And then the same set the columns to specific width, but this application is displayed on a number of different resolutions, thereby affecting the specific widths is not all good.

If I value percentage widths it does not.

    Any ideas?

The external table that contains the table of standard report also must be set to 100% width. Change the CSS rule:

Aaron, no thanks to Adobe (and a big thank you using Google Apps,) I finally could solve this problem.  The way the document authenticates in the back-end is through Google + Apps Admin profile.  Once I entered in the Console administration, compatible Google + for the created domain a + profile for the admin of the field, the auto shape filled the signature form after that I have authorized access to authentication on the shortcut menu.  Not sure if your situation is in Google Apps, but even if not, I'd be willing to bet that the problem on your side is the account that is used for authentication when you open your form.  I hope this helps!

  • try to remove parts of the file have to reveal the transparent background

I'm ready to tear my hair.  I have a file I includes what appear to be letters.  However, as I am trying to remove the background (lettering is black, in letters, spaces such as the inside part of an O, are white and appear to be the background), the space becomes black, not transparent, which leads me to believe that this isn't really type, but a series of drawings to represent the letters (I lose you again?). What should I try to remove all white space to place this image on my background of work plan and be able to see that in the middle of the o and g-d, etc.? Attached, is an example of what I had to face for a while now.

  • Cannot cut or make the transparent medium

    Hello

I'm cutting in the middle of this chart 'P' to make it transparent. I found tutorials on the removal of the inner segments of objects using pathfinder, but whenever I try to use 'less before' or 'exclude', I get the error below ("images gradient meshes, graphs, the objects and text paths cannot be used as elements of the compound shape"). I am extremely frustrated and can't find any solution. Help, please!

(I locate some information indicating the graph may be too small and should be expanded somewhat, but when I resized it, it gives the same error still.) I also tried to use "expand appearance", but it is grayed out.)

    2.JPG

It seems that you try to make part of an image transparent (P).

This is usually done in Photoshop.

    But you can try this:

Select the white object in the center of the P.

    Fill it with black.

Select the white object and the image, and then click make mask in the transparency Panel.

    Deselect Crter.

I have downloaded Firefox and IE. With IE, my home page fills the screen and I can adjust the display size (police). Now with Firefox, the homepage (FOX News) is crumpled in the middle with very small print and I can't find hoe to adjust the display.

  • Windows 7 Age of Empires II and Age of Empires III doesn't fill the entire screen

I just finished the installation of Age of Empires II Age of Kings and the Expansion of the Concqerors on my new PC which has Windows 7.  Not only am I have problems of color with Age of Kings II, both games II and III will not fill my 27-inch (1920 x 1080) monitor.  I set the screen resolution and downloaded the latest driver for my GTX 580 of NVIDEA but nothing seems to work.  How can I solve the problems of color with Age of Kings II and how can I solve the problem with the games only using the central part of my monitor and leaving a lot of black space on both sides.  Y at - it a patch from microsoft for these questions?  If this is not the case, there should be.  Help, please.

This is not a gambling problem. These old games only were not aware that future screen sizes might be greater than 640 x 480, probably 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (high end!). So there not in the set of options to set the display in today HD resolution. This adjustment can now be done by the video card driver that must be able "to scale", or you will enjoy with the size of the screen not interpolated, original (on a screen 1920 x 1080, which will only be part of your actual screen). I do not have an NVIDIA card, on my AMD card, 'scaling' option is an Advanced Catalyst Control Center setting, there should be something similar in the controls of your card.

  • OBIEE - 11.1.1.7.140225: Guest placed in the hidden part of the dashboard does not work

    Hello

I have a line of dashboard (scope: Page), when the user selects the value in the command prompt and click on apply an another guest of dashboard (hidden section) fills the values and then this variable of presentation is mentioned in the report.

Question: Refresh the guest placed in the hidden not part and assign the value to the variable of presentation.

    For example:

    Section 1 > prompt dashboard

    (1) from the Date

    (2) Id analysis: (guest of cascade, founded date selected)

    Variable presentation: pAnalysisId

    (3) moral: by default all the values in the column

Section 2 > fast dash (apply button then refresh is disabled)

    Analysis of parent IDs:

See the value: select 'parent_anlysis_id' from 'SubjArea1' where 'id of analysis' to (@{pAnalysisId})

Default value: Select 'parent_anlysis_id' from 'SubjArea1' where 'id of analysis' to (@{pAnalysisId})

    Presentation Variable: pParentanalysis

    Report:

    The report columns

Legal entity |  Balance (Parent) | Balance (analysis)

    Column report form:

Balance (Parent): Filter (using fact-Analysisid Balance to (@{pParentAnalysis}))

Balance (analysis): filter (using fact-Analysisid Balance to (@{AnalysisId}))

    Report filters:

    Legal person is invited

    Analyzes facts Id is equal in @{pAnalysisId}, @{pParentAnalysis}

Only the pAnalysisId happens. The presentation variable analysis Parent is not to set.

NOTE: If I display the section in which I placed the guest of the dashboard for the Parentanalysisid, the report works very well.

If someone has encountered this problem, please guide.

    Kind regards

    Shruti

Problem is solved. The problem is in the report, all the filters have been based on variable presentation, which was not refreshing with prompt hidden values. Add a column with "is"lead"in the report and now values happen.
