• Standard vSwitch_Custom VM (Vlan200_VM network) port group does not.

  ESXi 5.0

  VCenter 5.0

  2 connected local network cards to vswitich 0 Active\Active configuration.

  The virtual computer name: FSAPP_1

  Note: good VLANS are created externally NETWORK

  I created another group of ports VM network VLAN 200_VMnetwork.

  I have attached TWO maps LAN to VM. A LAN card is connected to the port default VM network group and another is connected to network VLAN200_VM.

  A LAN card is connected to the local network (Private IP) and another is connected to the Wan (public IP)... IF I CONNECT the TWO VMNIC "DEFAULT virtual machine network" I am able to ping both subnets.

  I did not ask you to do what I asked you to test is the separate two VM on the host even be configured to use the VLAN 200 portgroup and verify that these two people are able to talk to each other.

  Once you've found that the books above. Go back to your network team and make the request to configure the switch in the trunk output ports (which does not remove the tag VLAN on the package on the output of the switch) as opposed to be defined as access (that strips the tag VLAN).

  It is my firm belief that the port group does not work because your switch is misconfigured based on my above statement.

  Automatic response of users who are part of a group does not work when the email is sent to them through the email address for the group. If the email is sent directly to those users with their own email address then their autopreply work. Auto answer may work for users when they receive mail from a group address? If so, how can I go about setting up that?

  It is expected that mail sent to a list is not automatic response of the members of the list. This is explained, as well as possibly the means to get there, if you really want that in the following Article in the Knowledge MOS:

• LDAP group does not map synchronization

  I have problems of LDAP group synchronization maps for UCS central to allow access for UCS - M connection. They are not properly synchronized.

  Hope your week is going well. If you could answer the following questions that would help me greatly.

  We have other issues with UCSM communication plant or just this LDAP configuration?
  Do you have any configuration of pre-existing LDAP who works, or is the first implementation of LDAP?
  You apply the LDAP configuration in the root with the central organizing?

  If you can go ahead and go to the operations management-->--> security--> local make operational policies you there organizations affected, if it does not it will not work.

  So if this is the case, go to--> user Administration and authentication--> local--> properties--> Assign/Unassign organization--> make sure that the Organization and the root are there. If only the ROOT is there it will not work and vice versa if just the organization is there, it won't work.

  Once you do that try to re - connect to central and refresh and check that the operations management tab shows in your organization.

• Definition of group does not belong to the collection

  Hi all, I hope you can help.  We have recently migrated some applications to a new host and group configurations used in the available refinements component now seem to be unreadable to short Studio.  For all applications, we get messages as follows:

  2015-08-04 09:46:22, 041 WARN [CollectionManager] group definition(key:'Action-Plan') does not belong to the collection "ATR_Detail".

  2015-08-04 09:46:22, 041 WARN [CollectionManager] group definition(key:'General') does not belong to the collection "ATR_Detail".

  2015-08-04 09:46:22, 041 WARN [CollectionManager] group definition(key:'Task-Info') does not belong to the collection "ATR_Detail".

  When we created these there is no way to set the collection for a group and in the documentation so that the SOAP API seems always to be the case: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40518_01/server.761/server_api_ref/endeca-server/wsdl/config/xsd/1/element/putGroups.html.

  The studio version 3.1.14220 has no difficulty to the ingestion of these even when there are multiple collections in an application, but this new version 3.1.19408 get the message above and does not display groups.

  We need to understand if:

  1. it is a bug.  If so, I have the document and present it.

  2. There is a way to specify collections when creating the groups via the web service that is not obvious from the documentation.  Maybe I'm interested in the false documentation?

  We think we have found a solution that we are now stable which is that perhaps dot notation in the form of Collection.GroupName is now required to load the groups into the new version of studio.

• Radio - initial value group does not properly

  I have problems with a group of Radio buttons in my form with table.

  Radio buttons control the ORDER byclause in the query.
  
  The form works perfect long as the user clicks on the radio button in the first PLACE.
  but the default behavior of the form does not work properly.

  My problem is that when the user 'open form' and run the right query, the default is MODEL.
  No key radio. query automatically sorts by the MODEL, even if I want the default NAME.
  
  How can I change the default ORDER BY name?
  Or, how can I change form to automatically - click on the NAME button when open?

  Initial value does not get assigned until forms creates a record in the block whith option button.
  You can set your: radio_group: = "NAME"; at a TIME NEW FORM INSTANCE

• ERPI accounting entity group does not record

  I tried to select some features and create a group of accounting entity. I can record it without any problem. But when I closed and reopened I see not all entities that I've associated with the group. Few of them are deselected. Also, the accounting entity group is not available for use in the Import Format. ERPI v11.1.2.2.

• LDAP + permissions OBIEE group does not

  LDAP authentication works very well and my users are authenticate without any problem. I imported my LDAP users, but want to create my groups manually iin OBIEE (and not import from LDAP). Created groups and added my users to these groups, everything is fine so far.
  
  First step is to set up some groups to not see certain elements. I thought it was as simple as the definition of permissions on a specific group - tab, add the subject areas you do not want to display and make sure that the read check box is x'd out. I did it, but the fields are still visible in the 'answers '.
  
  Am I missing something?

  Go to settings > administration > manage privileges... scroll your domains. Delete "Everyone", add the appropriate groups...

• Reconfigured HP Data Replication Group does not present as a group of SRM data store

  Hello

  I configured in two data centers with an EVA4000 on the source site and an EVA4400 on the destination site, countered with Continuous Access EVA of SRM.

  I had replicated two EVA virtual disks (and ESX data warehouses) on the EVA4000 Source called EXCHANGE01 and EXCHANGE02 that have been configured in separate groups, data replication (named EXCHANGE01-GROUP and EXCHANGE02 GROUP) of the HP Command View EVA. These have been picked up properly by SRM as replicated data stores.

  So I decided that it would be preferable to not not two data stores more as a single unit and therefore re-configured continued access by removing the virtual disk EXCHANGE02 of its data replication group and adding as a member of a GROUP named EXCHANGE01. After that, the GROUP named EXCHANGE01 is fail-over for Command View EVA unit and contains EXCHANGE01 to virtual disks and EXCHANGE02. The problem is that when I use the "Rescan replicated storage" option in SRM, you can still see the two Datastores EXCHANGE01 and EXCHANGE02. As it is, I need to create two groups, one by the data store, while in reality a continuous access switch the two as a single unit. The MRS server has been restarted, the berries reread several times, and in fact the EVA4000 has been restarted.

  Two things, I guess. Am I right in thinking that SRM should report to the Group of data replication HP (despite the fact that he refers to it as a\ group data store)? If I am, is there a way I can fix it (preference to short to remove all the replication groups in Command View EVA, a new analysis in the MRS and re - duplicate records?

  Hi Bob.

  The term SRM data store group is intentionally generic because MRS. support many different providers, and all could use a term "Replication group" as EVA does. If MRS. may correspond to a data store that was created on a LUN that the one being replicated is returned by the adapter, it considers that the store of data as being replicated. It's the storage provider for code adapter for return information LUN appropriate to their table - if you look at the SRM newspapers you will see EVA adapter returns each LUN replicated individually with no information about the relationship of Group of replication at all, so it would be impossible for SRM to have knowledge of this relationship as well.

  Although the LUN in a replication failover as one group power group, they can be taken individually for use during the test of SRM, so maybe it's one of the reasons why HP choice to list each ONE separately.

  In all cases, you have several alternatives: one is to keep your existing environment and configure two groups of protection; on the side of recovery, you can set up a restoration plan unique to switch both of these groups; In addition, you may have configured 2 other recovery plans, one for each protection group, which would be only used for the test, and which would test each LUN and virtual machines on it individually - this could reduce the load on the DR ESX servers during the test rather than to test simultaneously. Of course, you can create a single LUN as well and that of course would make the theoretical discussion - it could be better if your virtual machines must be tested together because the application dependencies.

  You might consider following up with HP if you want more insight as to the relationship of EVA "Replication groups" viz SRM, which is why they chose to not to expose information to the replication group.

• Data level security group does not

  I'm testing the security level of data at the level of the group.
  
  Here's what I did
  
  1. went to security-> groups-> Permissions-> filters
  2 the name added to the fact table on which I want to filter.
  3 choose 'enable '.
  4. in the filter column, I added a filter on a column in the dimension. (I don't use any session variable in the filter)
  
  When I create a query responses with the column of the dimension (that I used in the filter) and of the fact table where I set the filter, the filter is not applied.
  Did I miss something in the creation of filters?

  If the user is a member of two defined by the user and group administrator without filter apply to them because the group administrator will take precedence and no filter can be applied to Administrator.Even if you ooen administrator group, you will see this tab permission is disabled for the administrator group.

  When you try to use a GPO to map a drive (on xp sp2 and 3 customers) based up to membership in a group, it is not completely finished

  Have created a GPO called MapDrive

  -Under User Config. > Preferences > Windows settings > card reader

  -Set Action = replace and it to map to \\Servername\share\%username% if the user is a member of the XYZ Group (common tab > Item-Level targeting)

  What is happening, it's that the good player cards\\Servername\share\ of under file which is the user name.

  To get the GPO to work that day

  -Did you have to install the patch installed XP from KB943729for side extensions (CSE) Client

  -J' also put a policy of waiting for connection before login (this fixes a problem of no similar mapping with the home folder that you can set the path in the user account object)

  Any ideas why the drive mapping complete otherwise would not work or have a work around?

  In fact, I found that it was not a problem with what I did, in fact, it worked.

  What I found is when you map a drive via gpo to a subfolder, for example\\servername\share\subfolder

  What is displayed is\\servername\share , but it actually be mapped directly to the subfolder. In the GPO, you can create a label for the drive, so in my case I created a StorageFor_ %username% label, which then displays the user who received the file, which is what I wanted.

  My original mail can still help those who have problems with

  1 folder without mapping entirely

  2. the CST for HP patch is required for the mapping of the readers via GPO.

• Base filtering engine does not turn

  Well first of all, today my computer was working fine. Then I turned off and turn it back on later and I tried to use the internet and it would not connect or Windows Firewall. Then, I started to look around for help & support, and I found that it is controlled by the Base filtering engine and I looked and he was off. So, I tried to start it and it wouldn't turn on I got a message that says "Windows has no start the engine service of filtering based on Local computer." Error 5: Access is denied. Now I use a friends computer to search for answers, but I can't find anywhere. The system restore points were not available either, so I couldn't restore it. Please help I've looked everywhere and no luck. I really don't want to recover my computer and lost all my files. Oh and btw I have a Windows Vista Home Premium am I'm on a local computer.

  My problem is still there, but I guess I'm going to just send to HP and the fixed or recovered. I tried safe mode and that has not worked and I tried what he said about Microsoft Support, but no luck.

• LACP group does not work with stacked 2 DELL PC 6248 and ESXi 2 5.5

  I would like to use LACP/LAG in vSphere 5.5. So I created a new vDS and a group LAG. 2 NICs per host should be used for this. We use 2 hosts, so the total 4 ports are involved. Basically, you can refer to a diagram at vmwares KB article 2051826 (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2051826)

  It's only 2 lacp group links are active, then the other 2 are inactive. Active is the only one of the esx hosts, it depends on which ports are going to be active first.

  Any advice? Someone at - it a config like this works?

  Thanks to the good support at DELL.

  The secret is that you must create a separate group on the switch for each esx host. On the side of esx, you have the config with group a lacp/gal. But on the side of the switch, you need 2 groups for two guests. VMware should have this more clear I think.

• Web Jetadmin restricted the role of safety device group does not not as expected

  Hi all

  I just configured HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR8 and trying to implement a restricted security group peripheral role but is not working as I hope.

  I created a group of devices for a specific department within our Organization. It is filled with a query and I confirmed that the correct set of devices makes its appearance in the group.

  I created a security role called "administrators of small device." I set the type of restriction to "Volume groups" and ticked the box "all permissions".

  I added a user by selecting 'device restricts administrators' with my new role selected. I checked the box "Restrict permissions to the group" and selected the group created earlier.

  When I log in Association with this user account, I expect to see only the devices in the device group. However, I am able to see all detected devices.

  Am I misunderstood how this is supposed to work? How do I give a user access to HOSTS and make them only to be able to see the devices in their Ministry?

  Currently, Web Jetadmin (WJA) no not the feature to limit devices which can be consulted but not restricted this that a user has the ability to management.  Any user can see all the features, but cannot manage that those who were assigned to their role.  If they attempt to perform an action on a device outside their role, they will get a message saying that they do not have permissions to perform this action.

  One thing to keep in mind is that any account that is a member of the local Windows Administrators group of the server HOSTS is automatically a member of the Administrators group on the application HOSTS.  This means that if a domain user account is a member of the local Windows of the WJA Server Administrators group, the permissions for the Administrators group of the ASSOCIATION will take precedence over any other restrictions that may have been placed on this user through other roles.  It goes the same for any user who is a member of a domain group that is a member of the Windows Administrators group local servers HOSTS.
