  Photoshop CS3 lived happily for a while on my system running Windows 7 32-bit, however, lately, at the closing, it freezes, requiring a Ctrl-alt-del to force her to leave.   A few questions;

  • Is it a known issue and the difficulty for a lack of deactivation / activation for PS CS3 menu options?
  • Is there a way to preserve the activation manually key and delete all the other possible corrupted files and registry entries so that I can do a clean install?
  • Is there another way to repair a damaged installation of PS CS3?

  In the end, PS CS3 became unresponsive and activate - deactivate the menu grayed out again. After trial and error a lot more, the only way to reinstall was to completely erase the hard drive, reformat and install a new OS, etc. Since I had done similar work to solve a CAD program which had problems with a re - install a player, I think that Photoshop CS3 should write files of system flags hidden in some sectors of the HDD outside the volume of Windows OS, not only hidden or obscure entries in the Windows registry, so without a way to manually find and fix roadmap / remove these flags or powerful to remove utility completely all traces of a program, a pavilion of sector or software disk corrupted outside normal windows volume can prevent or corrupt future attempts to re - install the software... that's my theory at least that other software publishers use these plans to try to protect their software licenses; Woe to the poor soul who blocked a drive hard after that software support is complete!

  Because I needed to save the volume as-is due to other software that cannot be easily re-installed, workaround to fix PS CS3 was rather install my last open license for PS CS4, which now is now installed on the same drive and continues to work perfectly.

  IMO no matter what AT & T told you, it seems that the fault is theirs. You can just try it with a different sim card and you will have the answer. Also, try to connect your phone to iTunes and "check for updates". This function also checks the parameters of your career, so if there is an update, you will get it.

So basically I have two pages in a tab control, page 1 contains, log in as user name, password, and login button and second page is nothing.   As I recently had some hardware problems with my computer, orders of recording/disable/updates to my Photoshop CS4 suddenly had dimmed. Also at the same time, the bridge is not working properly, I can't create/delete/modify anything via the bridge, I get the message "cannot access this file. Check the security on the network drive privileges"I access your Photoshop files. I checked the permissions in Windows XP, and I have not all permissions.

  To rememdy this problem, I ran the LicenseRecovery and still the problem persisted, so I uninstalled Photoshop and re-installed again. Now the three controls are sometimes clickable and sometimes they are greyed out. The problem with Bridge continues.

  Quite often these menu items are grayed out for an indefinite period until Photoshop has established a connection with the internet.

  You don't mention your OS, but it can help to run the bridge as an administrator (with a right click) to make it work.

  Also to reset Bridge preferences by holding the Ctrl key when you start it until you get a reset dialog box, where you confirm all three.

  I don't have the option to send to desktop (create shortcut) when I right click on a file.  Are there other options.  When I go to the shell: send the file is there, but it is greyed out and pops up like this:

• TouchSmart IQ500: Want to reformat but recovery disks don't work

  I'm trying to reformat the hard drive of this computer. I made a set of recovery discs and want to wipe the drive and reinstall, but I can't boot from these DVDs. Windows checked their after that I burned them, but they just turn.  I can reset it to the factory using the D drive recovery partion but I want run dban then restore to factory settings.

  I tried other discs, as a Windows Vista Ultimate, and big boots, so the drive is not the problem, the discs are.  Any thoughts on how to get out of this pickle would be apprecaited.

  A factory reset, which removes the partitions and then create fresh OEM partitions, should suffice.

  If you still have doubts, then replace the drive by another and take a hammer to the original. It is the approved military method of removal of data from a hard drive.

  Once the trays are broken, no one can recreate the data.

  Each person has a different level of paranoia.

  BTW, simply because the recovery started on the MacPro does not mean he'll run there.

  See the documentation that came with your computer for the method that the manufacturer provided to reinstall the factory delivered.  They are required to provide sort and normally it's a partition on the hard disk (several times drive D but sometimes in a hidden partition).  The manufacturer of the computer will also provide a method to create a set of food DVD the computer also.  If you can't find the manual that came with your computer, then you need to access the web site of the manufacturer and find their documentation.  They will also normally have a place where you can buy media if you do not or cannot create our own.

  If you can afford a few outages, power off the virtual computer, re - join the mapping file and then remove it by selecting meanings reported "remove disc"

• Logged on as administrator on Vista, but some options are grayed out or do not have permission

  I'm the only user configured on my computer, when I check the settings, he told me that I have administrator privileges.  However, when I try to do various things, several options are grayed out or the system tells me that I can't do some operations.  I want to select the option "run as Administrator" with some programs, but it is grayed out.  I try to rename files on an external hard drive, but will not let me.  Currently, only one user configured on the computer.  Thank you.

  Your request to user accounts in control Panel displays a check box for "turn User Account Control on or off" you need to turn it on for the admin functions. (You may need to turn off , then reboot the system then on and restart again to fix it)

  6. Check the box use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer , and then click OK.

  7. Click restart now to apply the changes immediately, or click restart later and close the user accounts tasks window.
