  In the find and Replace dialog box, there is a tab object. You can find your line by its attributes and change. I suggest the setting up and style object and replace all your lines of this style. In this way, the next time you need to change them, you can change the style.

  Regarding the copy of a style of an InDesign document to another. You can just copy something to the style and paste it into the document you want to move to.  (This will not work if the style of the same name exists in the file you are pasting to. In this case, your stuck item would take on the attributes already defined in the new file).

  Your "m2 only not the only 2" seems to contradict what you wrote earlier, but I guess what you want is style 2 and 3 only when they are preceded by m. If this is the case, follow these steps in the grep of the Find/Replace dialog box tab:

  Search: (?)<>

  Replace:

  Change format: select the index.

  (?<=. .="" .)="" is="" a="" so-called="" lookbehind,="" [.="" .="" .]="" a="" character="" class.=""><=m) means="" 'preceded="" by'="" and="" [23]="" stands="" for="" '2="" or="">

  Hi, I worked on it for a few days now and can't seem to make it work. I read through the tutorials page Trent Mueller, etc., but it does not work just the way I need to. I'm really starting to get a little goofy to manually place images based on finding the unique product code. I'd appreciate any help really.

• Find and replace the form

  I am a Mapper and converted from FreeHand to Illustrator several years ago. One thing I seriously need is the ability to take a shape and convert it into another form. That is to say to that I have several circles a certain size and color and I need to change all these symbols of a diamond of a different size and color. Freehand was graphic find and replace option where I could copy the original graphic and copy the graph to set up in what I wanted. Then I'll select all of the original graphics, replace hit and it would change WITHOUT moving forms as a whole.

  This also concerns the ability to scale to a bouquet of circles in a single shot without having to go through each individual cirlce and scaling each.

  Illustrator has the ability to do or things that I have just described? I searched the forums and can't seem to find an answer. This could help me (and I would bet thousands of other cartographers who have to export the data in ArcMap stylization!)

  A good trick for when you use symbols is to draw a fill box & STROKE None in your symbol, bigger than your art. The position in this way as your symbol doesn't move, as long as your changes get no more large size the fill & STROKE no box. Saved me many hours over many jobs.

• Find and replace graphics

  Avid user on the fly and fan here...

  Freehand is a remarkable tool called "Find and replace Graphics" that allows you to find all the colors (and many other attributes) in a document, page, or the selection and change into another color o = in one easy step.  I tried to find a way to do this in Illustrator, but have not been able to.  "Find and replace" Illustrator seems to be destined for other things.  Am I missing something?  It's like a usful tool, it seems that Illustrator must be able to do this.

  Try using the Select > same menu item. It allows you to select many different attributes of the object. Still, it does not on the Type size.

  It would be good if the development team of Pages read the questions and the problems posted on the apple Support communities.

  Find and replace invisible characters (tabs, returns, etc.) have disappeared in the Pages for older versions.

  2016 is coming with the editor of affinity, I hope it turns out as well as the designer of the affinity and Photo of affinity, but doubt that it will be the combination of WP, PAO and spreadsheet that makes Pages ' 09 so awesome to work with.

  You'll probably find what you want, or close at least something you could learn from.

  Can you open the VI you want to change?  Even if you are not allowed to copy, if you open it and see what it does, you can the recode yourself using the appropriate ActiveX functions.

  One of my colleague working on a program with more than 100 cases of the same enum (without type def as a constant knot, of control and property).  It must update the enum (surprise), so he needs to make the change on all the enum 100 +.  I showed him how to do a type-def, and he could replace the 100 + with new enum type FED.  It's a lot of work manually, so I tried to use search and replace, but it won't let me choose the new enum type-def we want to replace the enum 100 + with.  If I do find and replace, I can exclude the property node?  If I, the field node would get linke for the new enum?

  What is the best way to accomplish this task?

  Yes, there are replacements that don't work because they are not simply doesn't make sense.

  The search and replace has some limitations, and you met a. You can do what you want to do by the script. See attached example, which replaces the controls that have a label that starts with 'cc' with the typedef. The criteria for which controls replace yours. I just chose that according the example VI that you have provided. Modify if needed.

  First: a lesson for next time. Check the data type of the queue a typedef. Now, the problem goes away. Change the typedef and all references.

  Lesson for next time bonus do not transmit queue around references. It is not necessary. Queues can be appointed. For another reference to the same queue, all what you need to know is its name.

  To answer your basic question, you can't. You'll just have to follow the wires around and replace them manually.

  • I am running Windows 7 for packs SP 1 or SP 2 does NOT solve my problem since neither one works with Windows 7.  Is there a way to search for this MUI (Multiple User Interface) missing file? The every thing must have himself installed in the first place. I took my mom (she died in June) and my brother on this PC as users so even if they do not use this PC supports multiple users. Maybe if I deleted as a reboot and additional users it will solve my problems. My updates install OK but I can't run at all system restore. It creates a restoration point OK but when I try to sr back to a restore point before I get the error 0x80073AFC topic of the missing MUI file. Then, when I spear SR it is said that he could not and no files have been changed because of the error 0x8000FFFF error, unspecified catastrophic failure and could not retrieve the file several times when system restore is attempted.

    OK I tried everything and nothing works! Only added beginners are updated browser Opera 10.63; IE9 (Beta); Firefox 3.6.12 and Google Chrome 7.0.517.41 and Java 22. Of course like everyone else in the world, I had to uninstall/enable and disable/download again and reinstall new Adobe Flash 10 and 11 of the shock wave and they keep crashing too! Hello 4 keep screwing browsers and now I get connection network problems. I run Comcast doctor and did everything it said to do, but nothing works. Oh and I added 7-Zip and WinZip also. • Find and replace function in file names?

  Is it possible to do a find and replace in the names of files, rather than the office or similar?  I have a large list of names of files that all have a problem with them I want to replace, but I don't want to pass by and do each manually!  A better way to do it?

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  Select the files in Windows Explorer, press and hold Shift and right click on them. Choose copy from the menu in the path. Paste the list in any editor you prefer. You get the full path for each file, but a simple find/replace will clean up if necessary.

  I don't know if it of what you're looking for or not.

• In Vista, it is possible to find and replace a specific name that I used many files on the hard drive?

  My apologies if someone already asked this (I couldn't find the answer however). I used the name of a person to dozens of (mostly Word) documents that are kept in many different files on my hard drive. I know that I can dig each document separately and then use hidden word and replace the tool to change the name. But this will inevitably take time. Is it possible to do a through - computer find and replace so that I don't have to do this exercise once? Any help gratefully received. Thank you.

  If that's the standard in the world of practice then the people in this world don't know what they're doing, I'm afraid.

  You should never modify a PDF file directly, unless it is the only possible option. You should always go to the original file format, edit it and then generate a new PDF from it. Do it directly in the PDF application problems. Even changing a single letter can cause serious problems with the layout of the file.

  You can convert PDF to Word using Acrobat, but it will never be perfect. The two formats are very different from each other.

  The quality of the result will depend on how the file was created originally. More consistent, it's the standard PDF better will be the result. The general rule 'Garbage In, Garbage Out' applies here. If the PDF file is a mess, if the results of export it to another format will be.
