Find the files .html and .htm without a .dwt (model)

I have a site with 1 933 .html and .htm files. 809 files 1 933 have a. tpl. This leaves 1 844 files with n. tpl. I want to give the files of 1844 a. tpl. To make sure that I'm clear, I have 1 844 files .html and .htm without a parent of the model. I would like to locate them and give them a parent. TPL. My question is, other than opening and looking at each of the 1933 files, how can I find these orphaned files?

I found the best thing for me to do was a: 'Find and replace' research; "Search in: all current Local Site; "Search for: Source Code; "Find: ;" check "ignore white space /" and then "search everything".

This will find all htm and html documents in the properties. Scroll through the list looking for something out of use. It is not as difficult as it sounds. For example, I had more than 2,000 listed documents. The majority of my documents should have httpdocs\sermons. Anything outside of this folder has become suspect. I found a folder that I downloaded in an attempt for the redesign of my site to reagent trying to meet the demand of mobile enjoyment of Google. The folder contained over a thousand documents not in the httpdocs\sermons folder. I deleted the entire folder. I did another search 'find and replace '. I've then easily accounted for all my documents.

I keep thinking that there should be a way of locating documents not related by a .dwt (model).

Murray and Nancy's O thanks for your time and knowledge.

  • Windows 7: the search does not find the files that should be, directory is indexed and *.php included on the list of extensions

Windows 7: search does not find the files that should be. I have indexed directory and *.php included on the list of extensions, but search can't find files for Word searches that I know there are files with these words in them.

If you're frustrated by research (aka Desktop Search), you are not alone. Click the Start button and type find and click the button 'change the way Windows search'. Now click on the Advanced button and select the tab file types scroll down and find your type of file (in your case .php) and make sure the radio button "index properties and the content of the file" is selected for the file type.

Out the form by clicking on the OK button, but do not close the form when you click the Advanced button.

Then, you may need to change the indexing locations. If the folder where your files are located is not known for indexing search, then search is not even bother looking for here (a source of frustration for many users). Maybe your files are located on another drive or partition without the knowledge of the indexing engine. Using the options icon and select/deselect expand, make sure that at least the files of interest are included for the indexed locations. I hope this helps.

  • Cannot find the file ContextHelp.htm

In Dreamweaver 8 for Windows, when I press 'F1' with a group of active floating panels, I have the following error:

Windows Help: Can not find the file C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Help\ContextHelp.htm. You want to try to find this file yourself? [Yes] [No]

This happens, for example, when I have the Group of panels CSS floating in its own window, I click on one of the properties listed, and I press "F1"in the hope to get context-sensitive help on this property." Instead, I get the error message.

Indeed, I have no file called ContextHelp.htm, but it doesn't seem to be a file of the same name on the Studio 8 CD or anywhere in the Macromedia directory tree. Note that I am able to access all the help that I need help of the menu, the reference Panel, or even by pressing 'F1' of in the Dreamweaver document to the primary address window.

There is a DW MX 2004 old NET on this subject , but a resolution was ever posted on this forum.

I have reproduced this problem and filed a bug (#207368). Thank you

    Follow these steps to find the file;

Go to folder options in Windows Explorer > organize, click the view tab and select "Show the hidden files and folders" and uncheck the box on "Hide protected operating system files".

Copy and paste the following text in the address bar of windows Explorer. Don't forget to replace "XXX" with your own username (or one that has been used by modifying the file), C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

PowerPoint is a microsoft program and ms and adobe are not the same companies and do not have the same products.

That said, your class probably uses an adobe product and probably displays a swf file.  the reason why you cannot view SWFs on ios devices is a matter of apple.  Apple won't allow flash on their devices player.

I am trying to install SP3 on my XP Pro.  I get a notice on my screen, stating: "Service Pack 3 Setup error - the system cannot find the file specified."  Don't know what I'd do.  Thank you.  Peter glass

That's good news. I think you also need to analyze of rootkits being on the right side. So, now:

Search for rootkits with a program SPECIALLY designed to detect and remove the (aswMBR):

Download this file to your desktop. Double-click the icon to run the program. When the opportunity to download and install the latest Avast definitions do.
Run a scan. Results in red indicate that this was not a false positive! Do you need to remove the rootkit (including "FixMBR" if necessary).

And finally, leave your PC on overnight and search for viruses, using this site:
Once we are convinced that your PC is clean, here are my instructions (just in case where you still cannot run batch of Geek-Tech file, etc.):

    1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links for the installation files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

(You need to install IE8 AFTER SP3! Trust in me.)

    IMPORTANT NOTE!

It is VERY important to ensure that Internet Explorer is at the level IE6 before installing SP3. In case you have IE7 or IE8, you must uninstall it / them, using the Control Panel Add / Remove programs. Let us know if you need assistance with this.

    Once again:

Make sure that IE is IE6 level before installing SP3. You can go directly from IE6 to IE8 after SP3 has been installed.

    2. disconnect Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

4 set up a clean boot. The last thing you need is for a program that runs in the background to interfere with these updates! (It happens!) For more information:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

(Note that this is the same as setting up a "Diagnostic boot.")

    Reset.

5 install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

6 switch to IE8. Restart TWICE.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

7 unscrew the clean boot. (That is, return to the Normal startup).

8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

Start | Control Panel | Security Center

9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

10 re - enable automatic updates.

    Hi Stephdan,

    1. have you done any hardware changes or software on your computer before this problem?

    2. Why are you trying to fix the computer?

It would be possible that the Windows XP installation disc is damaged.

    (a) you can try to do a Windows XP disk which should correspond to the same edition, as it is installed on your machine.

    (b) later, try to repair the installation and check if you are able to boot to the desktop normally.

    Perform a repair Installation

    Note:
however, you should not have Service Pack 3 installed on the computer before you run repair installation.

    Hope the helps of information.
