  Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

  In Internet Explorer 8, the Auto complete option is in a new tab.  Go to tools, Internet Options and then click the content tab.  You will see a section that says "Auto-Complete".  Click on the 'Settings' button and it gives you several choices of auto complete options.

  This should solve your problem.  Let us know if you need more information.

  When I upgraded my MacBook Pro to El Capitan, the F4 key that allows to display the date, time and calendar has stopped working. Anyone know if this is not supposed to want to work more? Or how I can quickly display the date and time as I'm used to using the F4 function key?

  Hello bwallace57, your "more detailed system", it seems you have a little suspect for malicious software extensions (GetSavin, MyPoints Score!, MyPoints Toolbar, entry-level consumer).

  You can verify the behavior of firefox in safe mode (safe mode are disable the extension)

• Quick Launch buttons doesn't work on 8710w after fresh Windows 7 install

  I recently did a clean installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my 8710w.

  After you have installed the latest drivers available: HP Quick Launch Buttons v.6.50.12.1 (sp46731.exe) when I press a button, the corresponding light turns on for less than one second, turn and nothing happens. The wireless button does not work even on light.

  I reinstalled the driver and still nothing.

  Quickluanch buttons worked perfect with the previous Vista Ultimate 64 bit OS.

  Someone knows something about this issue?

  I already have google without success, there are references to other models of laptops and drivers which supposedly do not match the 8710w.

  I tried one last thing which was to 'hide' TPM Embedded Security Device Availavility go BIOS, also disabled the «Vista Live App Launch»

  After that the changes made to the above BIOS I have re-installed Windows 7.

  Now, the quick launch buttons work without any problem.

  I have not really now what was wrong, but the problem has been resolved.

• PEN TOOL doesn't WORK ANY MORE after PS 2014.2 updated!

  I just downloaded the latest update to Photoshop.  Pretty slick... adjustable fonts in the drop-down menus again... nice guide improvements.  A small problem... THE PEN TOOL NO LONGER WORKS.  The program is completely useless.  What the h % + l is the problem with adobe?  At least I can still use Photoshop CC.  Anyone got a solution for this?

  Problem solved.  Ventilation helped.  The culprit was in the "transfer" of brush settings.  My airbrush now works with the rims pen option where it didn't with the previous version of 2014.  In fact, it works so well now that it applies the last setting of wheel stylus used to my other Wacom pen tools.  (That didn't happen in CC) I have to be careful to let airbrush stylus wheel when 100% setting after use each time before returning to the normal Wacom pen.  But at least it's working now!

• Why should I update to the 'New' Firefox, when, by doing so, I have to Disable Symantec? If your system doesn't work well with it, so I'm in a dilemma, because I need this program to offer all the protection that I absolutely need the Web.

  I get a pop up asking me to upgrade to the new Firefox, but then I get a notice that the upgrade will not work with Symantec, my Norton account that protects my machine of various things on the Internet.   You have a hybrid system. HP uses the Realtek drivers on a Beats IDT audio chipset. This was caused when Apple acquired Beats Audio. Some HP systems manufactured in the meantime have material ITD but Realtek drivers available for download at the site to download driver and PC software. New HP systems now have audio-Bang & Olufsen.

  Please see here for the specifications of your PC, including the IDT audio chipset. But the download link for the driver for your PC (below) shows Realtek audio driver?

  The usual next step is to uninstall the Microsoft supplied driver and try to install the HP Win 8.1 or, if necessary, to win 10 driver for your PC. Here is the audio driver Realtek 10 Win. HP has win 10 drivers for your PC. You may need to modify the operating system and the version to see the Win 10 drivers available for download.
