Recently, I installed windows 8.1 pro in my laptop after I installed some drivers.

After installing Numkey pad is completely his work as guidelines instead.

When I click on lock its beep again and again. can u help with this problem.

What happened in Mode safe?

Do you have updates of Windows again?

Say the HP Support Assistant?

Say the automatic adjuster?

Did you back manually move the bar?

Occurs when you do?

Where did you download the driver AMD?

It could very well be the wrong driver:

Uninstall the graphics drivers in your device manager.

Restart the laptop twice.

Please, try the above troubleshooting steps and respond with answers for each question.

    e. click Yes to confirm the deletion.

    NOTE: This removes the file to the trash. It is safe to empty the trash when you are done.

    f. close the window.

    g emptying the trash.

    h. restart the computer.

    i. When you come back, you will notice the size of the file IconCache.db is reduced, and the update is now the current date. (See screenshot below)
    NOTE: If for some reason any IconCache.db isn't there or the size has not changed much, then just restart the computer again. You may need to restart a few times in some cases.

    j. the icon cache has been rebuilt.

    LR 5 doesn't work is not on the new Macbook Pro.  Have tried 2 CC downloads, download licensed 5.6 and 5.5 download licensed, all the results in the same thing.  It comes up with the screen base but no signs and gives that an error occurred when changing the modules.  Nothing I have tried seems to help.  He also said "start with lightroom mobile at the top on the left, although it said it's Lr 5.6.  Anyone else having problems?  Calls to adobe are no help and have to wait until Monday for technical support.  Surely this must run on a NEW laptop with any other installed software!

    Setup logs was very good.  Application installed but is not working properly.  Finally got Adobe support and it turns out be a file permissions error.  Had to add applications and myself as accessors of the Lightroom folder under ~/Library/Adobe/ path and set permissions to read & write (was read only for everything except system) and apply to all the cases closed.   Works fine now.  Including this here in case when someone else is going through this issue.

    I recently bought a laptop from HP Envy 13-d004a and could not get working Bluetooth.

    Without wireless/bluetooth adapter is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265.

    Bluetooth is not listed in the page menu settings/Windows device.

    There is no Bluetooth device listed in Device Manager.

    There is an unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed) listed under Bus USB controllers I think it is perhaps related to the problem. The State of this poster features 43 code.

    So far, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the USB devices and update drivers for USB devices. However, the USB device is unknown, with a warning on the icon symbol.

    I also downloaded the latest Intel Bluetooth driver update utility. When I run the installer, or the repair, I get the message

    "Intel Bluetooth Service (ibtsiva.exe) could not be installed. Make sure you have sufficient privileges. ». I am connected with administrator privileges when I run the installation program.

    So far all my attempts to solve the problem of Bluetooth failed, would be more appreciated all the help I get.

    Bluetooth problem has now been resolved on my HP Envy 13-d004na notebook.

    Tonight a Synaptics SMBus driver has been downloaded and installed via Windows Update.

    After the installation of this driver, I restarted the computer.

    After restarting Bluetooth appeared in Device Manager and peripheral USB unknown displayed previously had disappeared from the Device Manager. I tested Bluetooth connectivity and am now able to pair with my Bluetooth mouse.

    Surprised, but very happy that the problem has been resolved and that the laptop now seems to be fully functional.

    In Internet Explorer 8, the Auto complete option is in a new tab.  Go to tools, Internet Options and then click the content tab.  You will see a section that says "Auto-Complete".  Click on the 'Settings' button and it gives you several choices of auto complete options.

    This should solve your problem.  Let us know if you need more information.

    I have Vista Ultimate and here I noticed recently USB not working only not on the external hard drive. I tried to update the drivers and the system responds with the most recent driver already installed. Verified the USB ROOT property and shows nothing when it comes to th Ext.   • Working Group stopped after the installation of the new wireless router

    My working group stopped working after the installation of the new wireless router.  Router was switched were to move from DSL to fiber optic.

    I have a very simple home with two laptops working group, the two are connected with a wireless router.  A PC is running XP with the updates and service packs; the other PC is Windows 7 Home premium.  This working group was running without problems for a few years.  The Working Group has been used to share files between two laptops.  Internet access was through the DSL wireless router and print was with a wireless printer, without going through the working group.

    I had my DSL set out to free fiber optic last week, which meant that a new wireless router has been installed by my local phone company.  Internet works fine; wireless printer works.  The working group no longer works.  When I try to connect from XP to Win7 and I click on mode workgroup computers, I get this message:

    WorkGroupName is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

    The network path was not found.

    I tried to create a new working group, the new name for the same workgroup on both machines, but this did not help.  Working groups are supposed to be simple; This seems to be a problem on the new router - telco tech support says that nothing is stuck on the router. I don't believe them.

    What version of XP you use (Home or Pro)?

    Can you access the Win 7 a XP computer?

    You have identical accounts, passwords on both computers?

    If all that was done was to change routers without making any changes on the computers, the most likely cause of the problem is a third party (other than Windows) firewall on at least one of the computers.  Being by default, a router automatically assigns IP addresses to computers on your local network.  Different brands of routers, but use different address ranges.  For example, Cisco/Linksys routers typically use the 192.168 form addresses. 1.1 with 192.168. 1. 254, while the D-Link routers typically use 192.168.1 to 192.168.0.0. 254.  A firewall configured to allow only the first IP range blocks communication to the scope of the latter.

    So... What is the name and version of your anti-virus program?
    What other security software is installed?

    On every laptop computer, open a command prompt window
    for XP: start > run > cmd > OK
    for Win 7: type cmd.exe in the search box and press enter
    In the black command prompt window, type the following command and press enter

    This occurs because the function is called only once the page loads, and therefore affects only the lines that existed when the page is initially rendered. Page navigation performs a partial page of AJAX (PPR) refresh that completely replaces a set of lines of form (including their properties dynamically applied) with a new series with different properties. It is necessary to apply the function whenever a new set of lines is displayed. The best way to proceed is to call the function using an dynamic after Refresh with a dynamic range action:

    Things are not helped by the mixture of techniques here. The code would be easier to understand and maintain if a coherent approach was followed. It is recommended to always use jQuery to select and manipulate items, then select the items of dynamically across the table from the declarative mode headers attributes, rather than trying to understand the absolute values of ID from the control of the name and line numbers. It's much more intuitive, generally requires less code and is waterproof later insertions and changes in the order of the columns. Potential problems are only the changes to the control type or the column alias (because the latter is generally required in the selector), but these changes are likely to occur less frequently.

    Do not forget that to get the headers consistent and understandable static ID selectors must be applied manually to the IR columns in APEX 5.0...

    Hi, I shoot events with 2 different cameras, using a pool to the other and back dozens of times switching.  When I come home, I import the maps of two cameras in Lightroom. In the library module, the small previews on the bottom sort by chronological order of capture OF the CAMERA.  meaning that it shows all the photos sorted by capture of the camera one time and then all the photos, sorted by the time form camera capture 2.  I have many, many would prefer if the form of photos, both sorted cameras sort by ABSOLUTE capture time, not a single camera, then another.  In the library module, select view/sort/capture time but it just doesn't work.  any help?

    Triple - make sure that the camera clocks have been set at the same period.

    The best way to do that is to display the date of capture under the thumbnails mode grid library. In the library, view > Display Options and set the low label or the top of the Compact cell Extras to capture Date/time. Then set View > grid view Style > Compact cells.

    Then view > sort > time capture. Look closely at the date/time under thumbnails and pay attention to the AM/PM (if you are in a country with 12-hour formats).  The date/time by strictly ascending order?

    If they are not strictly ascending, thanks for posting a screenshot of high resolution of your entire window of LR showing the problem.
