Firefox 15 reports from ALL sites as not approved

This connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect

firmly to www.mozilla.org, but we cannot confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely,

sites will present a reliable identification to prove that you
go to the right place. However, the identity of this site cannot be verified.

This happens for every site I go to http https edu/com/net/org. I add exceptions and I can get around on a site for a few hours, then I must add exceptions even for mozilla.org

Please try to go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - see file & delete or rename the file cert8.db in the window that opens. Then, restart the browser (this will regenerate the file in question once again).

the problem still persists after this step? If Yes please try going to https://support.mozilla.org once again, select "I understand the risks" on the error page & "add an exception..." ». When you click on the "view..." button. "on the dialog box, the information is provided in section 'From' this certificate? Thank you

  • This connection site is not approved

Under options, advanced, certificates, see certified, I deleted all the servers in the servers tab, now every Web site I'll I get "this connection site is not approved. Web sites, even when I add an exception will come up only text mode.

I removed mozilla and re-installed and still get the same errors.

Hmm, well, it's the "Références" tab, which differs from the tab "servers". These certificates that say Builtin object are Firefox trusts to issue other certificates. It simply means Mozilla believes that these transmitters have sound policies and good technical control so that their reputation (and digital credentials) are not used to issue false certificates.

You can never visit a site that uses a certificate signed by one of these distant enterprises, but if you do, then Firefox will trust the certificate of the site and show a padlock in the address bar. That does not mean that you should trust the site - Firefox is just saying that you have a connection to it.

  • How to delete cookies from all the ' Do not Track ' placed in Firefox after I have uncheck "Do not Track" when they are all keep reappear after being deleted?

I first checked 'Do not track' blindly that it would work. I am running FF 14.0.1. I do not accept 3rd party cookies. I demand to be informed whenever a cookie wants to access. Before that, I would normally check my cookie list to remove those that don't want to keep, after I closed the related tab. However, after checking the option, a multitude of cookies "do not follow" arose. They block my table. I spend too much time track the unwanted cookies. In addition, after unchecking the option, all those ' Do not track ' cookies remain unwanted. No mater what I do to remove them, even to excess 'Remove all Cookies', none of them stay deleted. Even if I have to 'Remove all Cookies' and immediately close FF, they ALL back when I restart FF again, even after the total shutdown of PC.

The choice of the '-non-piste ' will that make Firefox sends a header HTTP specific (TSD = 1) on a web server and there is no definition of cookies.

This is the server to do something with this request.

If you receive permanent cookies, which cannot be removed, then it is likely that you have installed an extension.

Hi im running service of 64 bit vista Home premium pack 2

For some reason any button "show all processes from all users" in the Task Manager will not work, when I click nothing happens, uac prompt little or nothing.

I can end processes very do well no problem it's just the show all button that does not work, I thought that maybe the taskmgr.exe in my right-click system32 folder and compatiability tab and running it as admin it would work, but the compatiability tab is completely grayed out all I can't click anything in it.

Im not a big computer wiz, but I checked my user accounts account im logged on says that it is the administrator and UAC is on.

  • How can I configure Firefox 8.0 to accept 3rd party cookies ONLY from some sites but NOT all other sites?

I don't like to accumulate 3 cookies and would not simply check accept first-party Cookies 3rd box in preferences. BUT I have to accept 3rd party cookies to use the web page from my Bank, a separate site that manages some of their transactions (such as payment of invoices). This means that I have to accept 3rd party cookies, and then remove them by hand, OR should I check accept whenever I use the website of the Bank and then uncheck the box when I'm done.

I don't think, but it's easy to do it every time you visit. Simply, you click the CM then stationary on Third Party Cookies and then click temporarily allow all. Then you do the same thing, but use the option to revoke to deny again.

Note: It is not allow temporarily 'everything' (on each site) uses cookies, it allows only those of this site. But I think that if you let authorized if they are used by another site, they will be able too.

  • Firefox remembered passwords for all sites

Firefox is not always open a popup "save this password". In this case even if I enter the correct connection details and her memorize this password box it does not remember the connection. The next time I have Connection Manager password fields are empty and remember the box is not checked. I checked with the webmaster site and they do not disable save password information.

I've read all the Tips FAQ on this and followed closely.

    History settings are customized
Always use private browsing is NOT selected
Remember my browsing and download history is selected
Don't forget the history of search and shape is selected
Accept cookies from sites is selected (always, without exception)
Clear history of Firefox closing is selected (saved passwords, site preferences and off web site data are not selected to be erased)

Circumstances in which Firefox will not offer a memorize this password popup and fail to store information in the password manager?

  • XI Adobe bought and downloaded from the site does not not after the installation of the automatic update

I purchased a license through web for xi Adobe & downloaded and installed.  Worked perfectly until the recent update (app was config auto-Update). Now the product does not open, it immediately passes to "not responding" when opening a .pdf file.  I tried to go programs - "fix" without success. I DON'T want to update for DC, as the automatic upgrade has tried to make me do.  I just want what I bought to work! Please notify.

I have searched all over the support sites and knowledge base, but have not found a solution.  I'm willing to pay for support (although I think it should be on Adobe for trying to move me to a software that I did not ask for!)  But there seems to be NO WAY to access support via phone either.  You are sent through several self-invited, which only direct you to this site. If you happen to get an operator, they EVEN make!

ANY SOLUTION SOMEONE? In my view, that I've been robbed! Not very practical to sell a product and THEN offer no possibility to use unethical or anything else once you take the $$$.

  • I used to be asked if I wanted to allow pop-ups from a site, but not more

I loved this feature and you want to recover. I tried to make it through tools, Options, etc., but I just couldn't provide the correct address. Windows XP Professional

Have you looked on the address bar?

You should see an icon in the address bar when an embedded menu is blocked.

If you click on this icon, then you should be able to allow a pop-up and be able to restore the InfoBar (notification).

  • My FireFox repeat myself that this connection is not approved

It happened after I have reset FireFox.

This can happen if you visit a Web site that does not send a complete certificate chain with all the intermediate certificates.

You can try copying file cert8.db "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop to the current Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
  • I'm trying to access all sites gives the warning (error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

This affects my computer only profile (windows 8) and only on Firefox. I disabled SSL on AVG as help pages suggest and tried to reinstall, both without effect. Someone knows how to fix this?

Check the date and time and time zone in clock of your computer: (double) click on the clock icon in the Windows taskbar.

Find out why the site is not approved, then click on "Technical Details" to expand this section.
If the certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided (sec_error_unknown_issuer) and then see if you can install the intermediate certificate from another source.

You can retrieve the certificate and check details such as WHO issued the certificates and the expiration dates of certificates.

    • Click on the link at the bottom of the error page: "I understand the risks".

Let Firefox recover the certificate: "Add Exception"-> "get certificate".

    • Click on the "view..." button. "and inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the issuer of the certificate.

You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the details pane.

If "I understand the risks" is missing, then this page can be opened in a (i) frame and in this case, try the shortcut menu and use "Frame this: Open image in New Tab".

    • Note that some firewall monitors connections (sure) and that programs like Sendori or FiddlerRoot can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the certificate of the Web site.
    • Note that it is not recommended to add a permanent exception in such a case, so only use it to inspect the certificate.
  • Message "this connection is not approved" when I try to go on Facebook or most of the places in the menu with Firefox.

The first time I installed Firefox, it always gave me a script error that I ignored before he would let me use Facebook but FB has seemed to work fine after that. I reload Java at some point in the process. I think that that's when the message 'not reliable' started upward.

Have you checked who is the issuer of the certificate when this error occurs?

Check the date and the time on the clock on your computer (your CMOS battery may need replacement): (double) click on the clock icon in the Windows taskbar.

Find out why the site is not approved, then click on "Technical Details to expand this section.

    • Click on the "view..." button. "and inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the issuer of the certificate.
