  I need to uninstall firefox from Windows 7 Home Premium machine, but can't. I tried to uninstall it through the Control Panel, but that has not worked. I then tried a repair, also did not work. I've then navigated to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe to uninstall it, but it did not work. Nothing I've tried has even produced a response from firefox, without uninstalling box appeared, no dialog boxes any don't get in, it just sits there completely inadmissible. Yes, I tried safe mode. Yes, I made sure firefox is not running in the background. Help.

  Found a way to uninstall it manually.

  -Manually went through and deleted all the files of Mozilla on the C: drive

  -Ran CCleaner to clean the registry after removing all folders manually

  -Are passed through the registry and manually removed all instances of Mozilla

  -Then run uninstall from Control Panel and received the message that the program had already been uninstalled

  I followed the prompt to update Flash Player as usual, which opened and ran through Internet Explorer (sharing computer, IE is the default browser). After download and installation of update of the FP, it opened the "Step 3" FP in Firefox page, apparently it crashing in the process.

  Normally, run Firefox but downloaded Chrome and speed. However after that I use and close Chrome all my program icons are non-responsive, including the commands RUN as msconfig and even Ctrl Alt Del to stop computer. I have to hold down the power button / stop. INCREDIBLY frustrating because I can't even get the problem - EVERYTHING is inadmissible.   Cannot install updates because there is no place! MSG error code: C8000710. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-C290, 1 GB of RAM. It acts as the fire but just runs and until I have stop. Said that the drive was full, which is not the case! I am looking to increase the 1 GB to 2 GB, since that's all the computer will allow, but buy an external hard drive would be my best option in the future?   The normal use, I am an average of 1.2 G or about memory (of 16 G total); is this normal? Don't not maxing out at all but I was wondering.

  How to define and measure the use of memory for Firefox? Activity monitor? I use Firefox to write this. In the activity monitor, I see Firefox to 347 MB and Firefox Web Content to 259 MB.

  "Debug" presents the script (or part of it), but it is of no practical use. (Who knows how to fix an unknown script in a meaningful way?).

  "Stop Script" causes the 'Ball box' /Dialog (EU) of beach to reappear again and again.

  "Continuous" seems to remove the problem for the rest og the session - but the next time I open spread sheets I need to select 'Continue' once again!
