  Hello Lippman, your useragent (information, the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently by mistake - shows you're on firefox version 3.6 (which is very outdated so google will probably offer a reduced feature set). some kind of adware or toolbar crushed it.

  Firefox has several optimizations to speed up the display of pages in the cache which may malfunction under certain circumstances. For example, display a page using the Back button will not necessarily trigger an "onload" event in the page.   For end users, it is a difficult problem to solve. A partial solution might be the following:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press return / enter. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste sess and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers and change the value from-1 to 0 (that's a zero).

  (Please change not all other parameters similar to 0-sounding or you can disable the ability of Firefox to save/restore your tabs and windows open).

  Then reload the page problem and trying sail away and back to see if the inserted content is preserved.

  There may be a performance penalty slight for this change, but you probably won't notice it. Firefox will be used in the file cache, it will just go up the page in a slightly different way that often works around this issue.

  At a time where sharing or the sync'ing information is so important, the current Firefox sync service is a shameful disaster. What makes this worse again, is your persistent refusal to get correctly sorted.

  Obvious as it appears your Twitter stream, this has happened since April, 2013.

  Still, expect mobile devices to adopt Firefox OS. Yet you can't even manage your current structure of reliable synchronization.

  Chrome sync'ing works very well and easily between my computer laptop and Android devices. It is also much simpler to implement.

  I can't believe that you are unable to prevent the blade from Firefox. Enough dreaming of new solutions, until you sort the current mess known as Sync.

  In my view, the development of the current system of synchronization stopped as a new more efficient system {profile in the cloud (PiCL)} is being developed.

• New Sync does not work.

  Well I thought about it. It turns out that I need to go to the android device settings > data > menu > and enable 'auto-sync data '. Gee, you might want to tell your end users that they must have this permit. Kind of seems important. It took me six hours scratching my head trying to figure out what was wrong bloody, nothing in the Firefox app was gave me an idea. Why the hell isn't this listed in a FAQ somewhere? Seems unimportant since without that user to know this about the synchronization can be FUBAR.

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  I recently installed a Western Digital Scorpio 80 GB at 5400 RPM 2 MB Cache 2.5 "HDD 12MS and it works very well.

  The old 20 GB drive is now in a case/enclosure and works like a disk external DRIVE for my old Multimedia 6500 office which had only 10 GB.
