How can I get firefox to enable norton 360 to work?
I upgraded to firefox 17 now my norton 360 will not work. How to get a Firefox that allows it to work?
Norton publishes an update to each new version of Firefox, usually on the same day a new version of Firefox is available. You must run Norton Live Update several times to be sure that all updates are downloaded and installed. You can usually find the Norton update for the version of Firefox by typing into Google "norton 17 firefox compatibility" (including the quotes) and its replacement by the current Firefox version number, if not Firefox 17.
Here is the Norton information on compatibility with Firefox 17. Read it carefully.
Other - you should check your Plugins and update as needed.

When Firefox will support Norton Identity Safe once again, really
Same issue as everyone else for the past two years. With each release, we beg to have the Identity Safe working again. We get no answer in response. Firefox is up to 50 version and still does not support Identity Safe as before. If you can not handle inserting the passwords like IE can, why should I trust Mozilla you can protect them? No need to answer until you have set. Firefox used to be a good program. There is nothing I want in Firefox that is more important than the ability to manage passwords. Nothing. So now I uninstall Firefox again.
I've read dozens of reviews. Nothing definitive. I don't mean anecdotal cases of a version that works. I can't even understand why Norton was a stand-alone product and an extension. Some users claim that one or the other (not obvious to me) doesn't seem to work. I wouldn't be writing questions if it worked for me. As I said in my post to you, unless there is a final solution (do not have to depend on some obscure answer in a Forum), there is no interest to my use Firefox. I hate IE, but at least I get offered password.

It's REALLY annoying when the first notice of the existence of this last version says toolbar from Norton 360 (Safe Web and Identity Safe) are not yet supported by Norton, and then the subsequent availability of this update notice is COMPLETELY silent on this issue.
The last time that I've upgraded, Norton was 'so-called' press the toolbar, I found myself run Norton LiveUpdate 13 times before the toolbar installed.
Anyone know about Norton and this latest version.
I'm PRETTY sure that many Firefox users use Norton 360 and Moxilla needs to do a better job of at least WE ADVISE if an available upgrade is or is not compatible.
Thank you!!!

High-end avast! Prime Minister vs Norton 360
Guyz Hey!
My question is that Avast or Norton 360, which is best. They have a free version but I'm not one of those talking. My question is that the one who got the most features or is out of date. Answer only if you have used one before or have good opinions. (Be brief)
MB
If those are the only two choices I would have no choice that recommend Avast as Norton/Symantec is bloatware and prone to freezes and crashes.

Why is-toolbar Norton 360 invalid and incompatible with Firefox?
I recently switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox 26 - I have the latest updates for both products, but my Norton toolbar will not - allow the extension add-on says it is not compatible with Firefox, even if the site of Norton claims it is compatible. Protection against vulnerabilities in Norton was also disabled, but after checking the updates in the Toolbox, it has been activated. My Norton works while browsing in Firefox, and when my toolbar Norton will be available?
Norton has had updates for their extensions toolbar from Firefox 26.0 was released on 10 December.

Some say it's better to live updates before the new update of Firefox. You may need to put live updated several times to get the extension to work.

Norton 360 toolbar is not compatible with Firefox 17.0.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 and ran LiveUpdate twice. Norton Toolbar still does not work.

We recommend that you have the latest version of Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 installed. If you do not see the Norton Toolbar in Firefox 17, check and make sure you are running NIS or N360 20.2.0.19. Visit our Norton Update Center to receive the latest update. You will need to run LiveUpdate and restart several times before your product is completely updated to the latest version. It will appear in the history of LiveUpdate as Norton Toolbar add-on for Firefox.
If you use Firefox 17 and Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 20.2.0.19 and still not see the Norton Toolbar, please check and make sure that the Norton Toolbar plugin is enabled. You can do it clicking on the Firefox menu, by selecting Add-ons and then clicking Activate next to Norton Toolbar.

Norton 360 Connection Wizard does not work with Firefox 17
I just upgraded to Firefox 17 and found that Norton 360 "Connection Wizard" (officially named Identity Safe) no longer works. He does not fill in the username and password fields. It worked great and did all the right things when I was using Firefox 16. There is probably a miracle solution, but in the meantime, I had to go back to version 16. Impatience the problem is resolved.

I need to know if the new Fire Fox 8.0.1 will support the Norton toolbar? The last time that I've updated for Fire Fox 5, Norton would not work and I had to go back to 3.6. Someone said that they were working on this issue, but I wish you to know before you go. Norton manages all of my passwords. I do not of course want to lose this functionality. Regards Ron
I use Norton 360 and Add-ons are compatible with Firefox 8.0. Given that v 8.0.1 was not a major update, it shouldn't be a problem. Please note that the new version 8.0 of Firefox disable add-ons, then you will need to return to the page Add-ons and just Activate the Add-ons.

V7 supports the Norton 360 toolbar?
A previous update did not initially support the Norton 360 toolbar; more precisely, the function Identity Safe.
A Norton for Firefox 7.0 compatibility fix is available from 27/09/2011.
