• iframe to open the pdf on the website does not work the second time

  On my site, I use < iframe > to open the pdf in the page.

  All the links work the first time.  But if I want to choose another, nothing happens.  If I refresh the page, it turns off, then will work once again.

  I've read a lot of old post, but couldn't find a solution or work around.  Any ideas?

  Or, if it does not, then I opened it with the bookmarks already open?  Then I shouldn't be the submenu nav for each chapter.  Afraid users wouldn't know how to open the bookmark on their own.

  An "iframe" isn't a product, it is a type of HTML element used to incorporate another document within a web page.

  The OP is using Adobe software, most likely, or Open PDF settings would not work for them all the...

  To answer the question: he is probably the way the file is cached by the browser. I don't know there are many, you can about this, but you can tell the Bookmarks panel to appear by default using two ways: you can use the "pagemode = bookmarks' open parameter in the URL, or you can set options for initial view of the PDF file itself to show (under file - properties - view initial - tab Navigation).

  Hi all

  I have an InDesign document with a table of contents, I have rectangles drawn on each title, removed complete and race. I then linked these "empty" rectangles (using the hyperlinks Panel > create new hyperlink) to various anchor points of text that I placed it in the document. To create these text anchor points, I pointed out the titles throughout the document and using the 'new Destination of the hyperlink' via the menu of the hyperlinks, created all the anchor points of the text. I then just appropriate element Table of contents, create new hyperlink selected and "Anchor Text" in the options, choose the name of the anchor text and bobs your uncle. A dotted line appears around the rectangle "in white" and I then export as PDF.

  HOWEVER

  When I then open the PDF file, some of the hypertext links are clickable and take me to the destination I want in the PDF document. Some do not work. I don't know why. It's really frustrating.

  
  I tried to recreate the empty rectangles and the link between the rectangles to text anchors, but nothing will do. Anyone can shed some light on this? I'm doing it wrong? Is it using a blank rectangle to create the "button to click on the cause of this problem? There are about 40 of these empty rectangle buttons, as well as links to external PDF documents.

  I am amending a document made by someone else, and their mode of hyperlinking is ridiculous. Will have a look at the table of contents. For the moment, changing text link anchors to General pages allowed links to be clickable. The problem also seems to be to redirect the PDF as Adobe Reader works perfectly.

  It seems also to reference links to the indd rather than the PDF document or go to page 21 of *.indd rather than page 21 *.pdf

  So I did as you said and tried it on a new website and it worked fine, I tried to think of what I did then different in my original site and came to that it is the image that I have placed on the line of browser that messed up the anchor, that I took it and place this image in the background of the browser and it works very well!

• Settings of copy/paste to develop the Module never worked first time

  Barely noticed it since the passage of LR4 Beta to LR4.

  First session develop a few pictures taken during the weekend (.) RAW CR2 files). When I only have a few shots, all taken in the same environment, I tend to just get the first right and then copy development parameters and stick on each subsequent shot.

  What happens on my Windows 7 64-bit-the first time machine I paste the settings every time, I get the bar tasks are displayed top-right, that after a short time passes to 'mission complete' - but no settings have been pasted.

  If I paste the settings it works the second time.

  This happened to me on a regular basis in about 30 shots now.

  Anyone else seen this?

• Firefox not open correctly the web pages, they disappear to the right of the screen, remaining on the lower toolbar in size of postage stamp

  Firefox has stopped working properly, some time ago. I had to go back to IE, which seems to work fine, although I'm used to Firefox. All Web pages, at the opening of transit across the screen to the right and disappear, with the exception of height thumpnail display associated with the lower toolbar. I tried several times to download Firefox. Always with the same result. I am running Vista 64 bit on this desktop computer.

• Firefox is running in the Task Manager, but only opens a window.

  I can't get Firefox to open a window. I tried firefox-p (Profile Manager) and firefox-safe (safe mode), but nothing works to open a window. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but that solves nothing. I haven't changed anything recently, so perhaps there is a update (?) Here's what happens:

  I try to start Firefox, and the Task Manager indicates that Firefox is running. It employs about 32 k of memory, but the window never opens.

  I click Firefox again. Manager tasks indicates 2 Firefox process now. The second is to use about 4 k of memory. Running Firefox repeatedly adds additional tasks to Firefox, each using about 4 k of memory.

  After about a minute, the additional tasks of Firefox (the 4 k ones) start closing 1 by 1. I am now down to only 2 Firefox process, using 32 k and 4 k of memory, respectively. As far as I know, these processes will last forever, until I have shut them down manually. If I run Firefox again without closing the current process, it creates another 4 k process, which finally closes itself. If I close all the processes manually, I can start over from scratch. Meanwhile, Firefox never opens a window, or give a clue showing that it is running, with the exception of the processes listed in the Manager tasks.

  It's a custom location. Normally, the profiles are under AppData\Roaming, I think you already know. There is a shortcut:

  This folder must contain a profiles.ini file (.ini file extension may be hidden), which shows the names and paths to your profile folder (s). If you check in a text editor such as Notepad, this file contains sound data?

  Hi Mario,.

  You have probably created a simple bearing and you want the page to display the second indicate when the user has clicked. Right? If yes then please note that the bearings will not change the State of their own on the pages. You will need to go to the health page and set the image to link to the second State (called State). This should be done for each page so that when it is clicked on a page it will show the status button second pages (such as the value on the State of the page).

It is the basic function of the bearings. To extend, we put the original state of the connection for each respective page on the second or the State of the rollover image. What looks like the button is clicked and active when you are on this page.

  Hey, I had the same problem and I solved it:
  1. - in the Firefox menu, display the Tools/Options.
  2. - unselect the checkbox "use hardware acceleration when available.
  This should work better now. Apparently the hardware acceleration makes the problems only when the windows of Firefox appears in a non-primary screen (don't know why). I suppose you know, but if you want to change your primary monitor you can do it from settings (right click on the desktop, then properties).

  Thank you, Neil. But you can ask your guys to withdraw. Someone made me a coffee strong tonight and I realized that I was this approach from the wrong angle. I've seen this number of HTML pages requiring a refresh before you display it correctly in other circumstances, even in Chrome on my computer, so I doubt that it is a specific problem of the DPS - maybe it's something in webkit.

  Anyway, the coffee made me realize that I have an iframe to load another HTML file to an anchor. All I need is to pop a little GoToAnchor script in thetag and a call at the beginning of thetag.

  Someday, if someone corrects completely broken site of Adobe Cookbooks, I download a lot of these recipes.

  A web page can be defined a "accesskey" for an item. Unlike IE/Chrome/Safari, who use the Alt key only, Firefox requires pressing Alt and Shift to activate the element. In other words, try

  ALT + SHIFT + S

  and see if it works.

  I don't know of any way to change this so that the change is not necessary. There may be an add-on?
