Firefox audio plays of the closed Flash (?) Internet sites each time it starts.

After the visit of youtube and the Web sites of Bill Maher, the computer connects to them whenever I invoke Firefox and read audio tracks at the same time despite my having already deleted the Web sites. Removing Firefox and reinstalling has no effect. I try to avoid creating a new file .mozilla and bookmarks, and lose. Al. There's no obvious history of addresses involved to purge memory.

It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js file [2] and files possible sessionstore-# .js [3] with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and opened and closed the tabs (back) to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

  • Firefox does play not any what Flash, even with the latest Flash installed

    Hello

My firefox is unable to play any Flash for months.

    Here are the questions:
    1. If I want to watch videos on Youtube, it turns out to be just as black (by clicking on the video can trigger the icon well break).
    2. If I want to watch a Web site with Flash, it just loads the first 2 seconds and then Flash freezes.

I have read all the help information in the forum and tried several solutions (see below), but none of them worked:

    -Uninstall and reinstall Firefox
    -Uninstall and reinstall Flash:

          1) when entered Youtube without Flash installed, the website asked me to install Flash but it somehow ended to a failure so I had to manually download and install
          2) after installing Flash, I also went to: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. I can see the version info but not the animation of the banner - it just shows a red box and then disappears after a few secs.

    -Reset Firefox
    -Use mode browser safe
-Install the latest version of Realplayer
-Analyze the State of the plugin on the Web site: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
-Disable hardware acceleration in the advanced option
    -Regenerate the file "pluginreg.dat".

I use WIn 7 (64-bit), with Firefox 24.0 and Flash11_8_800_168. I spent too much time on this issue and now I use Chrome to view the video.

Hope this can be resolved with your help.

    Thank you!
    -Jeffery

Hi Jeffery, I'm not familiar with a lot of your plugins. In the event that one of them could have an impact on Flash content, could disable you any that you do not use on a regular basis? (Set to 'never activate')

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

Can't play YouTube videos and cannot load Flash components, which work on other browsers.

  • What is the closing Skype, internet exployer and alotwidgets have to with the installation of adobe flash game

I can't install adobe flash player because I don't know what means closing Skype, internet exployer and alotwidgets or how do.  Help, please.  I chatted online with three people yesterday, aminou, Francis and Himaushu for a total of four hours and recorded and followed their instructions, but I'm stuck on how to close the three points.  Help, please.

How to close Internet Explorer and other programs running on Windows

Thing is: ANY program that uses the Flash can NOT be open while you install Flash Player. It's like trying to change your oil while driving on the highway.

    Worst case:

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking on the following links by right-clicking and selecting "save target as."

    Flash Player ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player plug-in (all other browsers)

Save them - DO NOT run them.

Restart and before opening anything at all, run the install (s).

  • Firefox makes me redownload the game flash every time

The problem is probably with the cache.
If I clear it, for a while, everything works fine, but after awhile, when the cache stored on my pc has reached a certain amount (near maximum), this problem reoccur.

Each time compensation and redownloading all are honestly really boring.

Is there a way to make Firefox delete cache longer than a certain amount of time on its own and keep more recent only? Honestly, I use Firefox to play 2 games only, and for some reason, the cache continues to grow even if I do the same thing every time and I find it weird. They are the Japanese Flash games and doesn't seem to work that well on Chrome and I don't use IE if I only use Firefox for these 2 games... I think that how the Firefox cache works is weird...

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
    While you are in safe mode;

Type of topic: preferences #advanced< enter > in the address bar.

    Under Advanced, select General.
Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

Search web sites secure. Are there problems?

    Then restart.

  • Firefox won't open the shockwave flash files because there are 2 types?

Firefox does not open some swf files when I say that this is the cause. However, http://edmullen.net/test/poopboy.swf works fine.

I looked in my Options-> Applications menu and found this http://i.imgur.com/kPVOHdE.png

So it has got 2 different types of SWFs to meet him. I can't tell the top affliate background is the same way.

I tried to uninstall the plugin. This removed the bottom and meant that the poopboy.swf I also linked didn't work in the same way, however, put it back, I was just back to the drawing board.

I want to add that these particular .swf files that I'm running worked yesterday so file corruption is not the problem, especially since I went and all the redownloaded.

These two SWF entries are on different MIME types that first one appears to be damaged or at least unusual. and probably the second (application/x-shockwave-flash) should be there.

You can rename (or delete) the file mimeTypes.rdf in the profile folder of Firefox to reset all the actions file.

  • It would help Firefox make me test the beta flash player on Aurora, since I use click here to read by element?

I use Aurora to help the Mozilla team are working on all the bugs before a FF product is shipped. I can't see the link 'Download the beta flash' right underneath the link to d/l Aurora.

I always wonder if I should install this. My use of the flash is limited, b/c I use click on play by element (extension). In these circumstances, would it be useful Mozilla to have this information in the telemetry reports sent from my browser? Or would use click here to read by element, defeat the purpose of testing the beta version of flash?
