  You can try to Uninstall and reinstall Flash. If the problem persists you can also temporarily disable Flash in (Alt + T) Tools > Addons > Plugins and try the HTML5 videos wherever possible. Most of the videos without ads embedded have equivalents of HTML5. You can also try opening the problematic sites in IE Tab + or IE Tab in Firefox.

  Help, please. Firefox crashes after launch after 5-10 seconds consistently every time.   I had at least one accident per week since Version 29 became operational. I'm not too happy, especially since the recent accidents seem would have cost me a few periods of my recent history that I might need for reference tracking for my writing.

  As you can see from the dates of the frequency of crashing is way up since the beginning of May.   Edited to add: as far as I can tell, all of the plug-ins and extensions are up-to-date. I can't update my drivers more for this system because no new is produced for this material.

  Windows; Tools > Options
  Linux; Edit > Preferences
  Mac; name of the application > Preferences

  Then Advanced > General.
  Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

  Dig safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.

• Firefox crashes after installing 29,0

  People,
  I installed 29,0 early Saturday morning (10/05/14) before the 29.0.1 patch has been published. Even after 29.0.1. installed himself, he continued to be planted after 1-2 minutes. I couldn't even keep it long enough to generate reports of crash and never had the crash report dialog box.

  But after trying to restart services "Stopped", Firefox is stayed until the fairly long for me to read the page giving suggestions for accidents. I decided to restart in safe mode, and it remained up to again. So, try to restart some services both run in safe mode appear to work (we'll see).
  
  I went to the directory of App Data\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash reports and found two reports of incidents for 5/10. They were not in the subfolders 'pending' or 'subject '. However, when I tried to copy them to another folder, they disappeared.

  Finally, I saved my favorites and uninstalled Firefox completely. Then I installed the 28. It has not crashed, more. Then I upgraded to 29.0.1, and now it seems OK.
  
  But, why did I have to go through all that? That the average user could do that? N °

  When I try to connect to things like Gmail or any other site which asks me to enter a user name and password where I did not signed in automatically, Firefox crashes immediately. I can restore the tabs, but only to return to the sign in screen. This made it impossible for me to check my e-mail from my own computer.

  Well, I suggest you check all unnecessary applications that are run at startup. Often people forget (or don't know) on startup programs and run the software that they do not know is running because it runs automatically at startup. Startup programs are not started on safe mode, of course, if the culprit is perhaps. I guess. I think your best bet is to search for malware. To search for malicious software, install, update and run these programs in this order. They are all free for personal use, some have limited functionality in their 'free mode', but the features you won't miss are not really necessary to find and remove the problem you have. Remember that not all programs detect the malware even!

  It randomly started happening yesterday. I removed firefox itself, all the folders under program files, appdata, etc... Registry entries and I tried a clean install and it still occurs.
