Whenever I go to Firefox, I get a message that says I don't have the latest version of the software. Why do I get it? The next screen says that you have the latest version of the software. Do not understand what is happening.
The old Google Firefox page has not been updated since the time of Firefox 3.6. So, if you really like this page, I think you're stuck with this message.
From Firefox 4, the default homepage is Subject: House which is a page generated internally.

Updated since version 7 or 8 during the installation SETUP message - your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox. Do you want to restart now? Options are 'yes or no'. Option 'Yes' restarts my computer & the attempts to Firefox, I get the same message. Reboot several times has no effect. The option 'no' closes the file and nothing happens. Running XP Pro version 2002 SP 3. All normal programs have been updated to the current date (Adobe, Java, etc.).
Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.
- Do not remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

I have updates since 2007. Can I uninstall them?
I have updates since 2007. Can I uninstall them?
[Original title: help]
Hello
You ask about updates you see listed in Control Panel > (programs) > programs and features > view installed updates?
If so, the answer is no, you do not have to uninstall updates.
If you try to save free space, you can run startup disk cleanup > all programs > Accessories > system tools.
Description of the tool in Windows XP Disk Cleanup: (Mostly applicable for Vista too)
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310312You need to select/highlight each item in disk cleanup and read the information that is provided. You can not delete, for example, hibernation or Office installation files.
Hope this helps,

Firefox crashes whenever I have access to specific Web sites
Firefox plant instantly any time I try to access specific Web sites (weather.com, for example), or, more specifically, Wikipedia articles on specific topics. For example, I can look for apples or tuberculosis very well, but it crashes if I look up, say, a performing artist (like for example the pages "Stephen Fry" and "Dr. Dre") or, unfortunately, because I'm a story that needs quick access to abstracts, no matter what section of Wikipedia on a country (those I've tried include the "Finland" pages , "Hungary", "Romania", "Belgium", "Viet Nam"and "Uruguay". " Is there a way can I fix? I really need to be able to access the pages of Wikipedia country.

How can I fix Firefox crashing whenever I have many tabs open?
I'll try to keep this short. I'm used to be a Firefox user for a long time... as he was released from first. I've always had problems with it crashing when given the many tabs open. I could not take more and jumped ship. After a brief period using Chrome, I decided to install the 31 version and try again.
I still have the same exact questions. The problem has persisted through generations of computer with the increase in power and memory.
Currently I am running an i7 4770 k with 32 GB of RAM and a GTX 770, SSD, etc.. I just installed Firefox yesterday after fed up with Chrome and some of its questions. Firefox crashed at about 6 - 10 times since then.
I'm a heavy browser. I have normally accumulate tons of tabs open, more than 100 + tabs open at the same time (maybe more, I've never counted). I understand that this may use a lot of memory, but I have a ton of memory. My use of the system does not exceed 30% never, but Firefox crashes regularly. I'm actually a little surprised that it seems worse now that she has never in the past. It crashes, I restore and it will crash again in 5 minutes. I don't have any add-ons installed. I had Ad Block Plus briefly installed, but I uninstalled that, once these accidents have begun.
What is Firefox, no Add-ons, no extra charges, nothing else to change its performance. It crashes constantly. It is perhaps just the last attempt before I'll look elsewhere.
Hello, Yes, it looks like an accident of lack of memory (probably due to many tabs open). you could try a port 64-bit firefox who will be able to use all of the available memory: https://www.waterfoxproject.org/

Why don't you warn me that update since version 34 to 35 would remove ALL my saved passwords?
Just update Firefox since version 34 version 35. Deleted ALL my stored passwords. Thank you very little.
Fact on both machines. Makes me want to not use Firefox more.
Please remove the addon of passwords do not forget-, then everything should be back to normal again. the addon is more necessary in the current versions since firefox offers you to save passwords on the site out of the box now.

Aurora Firefox crashing when opening after update
I'm under 32.0a2 Aurora. This morning I upgraded to Aurora when the popup little said that there is a new update available. Since then, I have not been able to open Aurora. It crashes everytime I do, even in safe mode. Sometimes I can manage to get Aurora to open, but when I try to go to a Web page (any), it crashes again. The Mozilla Crash Reporter comes up and asks me if I want to send a report, he asks if I want to reboot or restart in safe mode. No matter what I do, it crashes. Here are the latest reports:
