FireFox do not use local fonts, but use fonts online

Hello

My edge animation animate (version 3.0.0.322.27519) taken under the Mavericks (10.9.2) uses local fonts. Safari and Chrome use local fonts without problem. 29 Firefox does not work. However, FireFox uses fonts online without problem. I can't find information on a specific moz prefix that should be used in the link to the fonts.

Also in this project of edge animate, when I use the fonts online, the text that uses is previewed correctly. I see the fonts used. However when I assign a local police, the preview does not use the local police. But in a webkit browser window, the local police is used correctly.

Is this a bug? Or y at - it a particular way to post a link to the fonts stored locally within a project of edge animate to make it work in all browsers?

Kind regards

Announcement

I found a solution. Apparently, the reference name used for the police who was linked cannot be chosen freely.

  • 30.0 Firefox do not use external Acrobat Reader

Can change the options for the inside or outside Adobe Acrobat. Makes no difference, I get an error message saying that my version of Acrobat Reader is too low. However, I use 11.0.7. This is what says Windows, and that's what Firefox said on the plugin.
But Adobe say that 11.0.7 can deliver this message to specific error, so Firefox does not use 11.0.7 even if he says it is.

Somehow the Player 9.5 and 11 have been installed. Even if Firefox stated that it would use v11, it used v9.5

  • How can I configure firefox to not use wireless at startup?

I use an old Netgear modem, model MR814v2. I was unable to reset it to the original settings because I lost my password so I can't turn off and when starting and Firefox guard tries to connect to all sites within the range. This includes the new site that starts while I use my computer.

It is a nuisance of origin can I just disconnect from each of these sites and finally arrive at the 'Wireless Disabled'.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Firefox does not control the network connections. Try turning off just for your wireless network...

  • The Windows 8.1, Firefox runs on a local account but not on a domain account

I just moved to Surface Pro 3 running Windows Pro 8.1. Firefox works correctly when you are connected to a local account. When you are connected to a domain account, Firefox will run *.html documents properly on a disc, but doesn't show any response to any internet orders. I have disabled the firewall for the domain - no change. I changed the domain account for administrator - no change. I have reset Firefox to default setting - no change. I created a new profile - no change. I disabled the hardware accelerator - no change. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times - no change, what should I try then help identify the problem.

I solved the problem. My browser Internet Explorer (IE) has been configured to use a proxy server. Firefox has been set to "Use system proxy settings", but do not have the name of the proxy server. Remove the IE proxy server solves the problem. Maybe Firefox should use "Autodetect proxy for this network settings' as default, Firefox installation setting is not dependent on the settings of IE year / this.

  • Re-installed linux; Firefox does not use my old profile.

I had to reinstall my OS (linuxmint - debian edition - 201403). I left / home intact. After the process, I checked the profile - nothing has changed. So I ran Firefox. But my favorite has not loaded (the few that come with a new installation). It did not load preferences either.
I tried a few things to get it to load my profile (i.e. create a new profile and copy the content, help > troubleshooting information - reset). Still no joy. I even tried to run in a shell with Pei < profile > for profiles both original and new. Still no bookmarks (or whatever it is my original profile).

In addition, on the help > troubleshooting information page, I click on 'open directory' and see my original profile.

What is the problem and how to fix it?

OK, I thought about it. I had Firefox running (to check the use of profiles). I have quit the program, and then copied the old profile.
Well, I tried to copy it on a freshly started machine - it worked!

  • Why Firefox does not have a video, but Chrome is?

I tried to watch a video using Firefox, but the window where the video should play never loaded. It remained just a black image. So, I tried the same page using Chrome, just to make sure that the site was good and the video played using the Chrome browser.

The site, I tried to display in Forefox, but would not play the video, was:

    http://www.thedailyshow.com/full-episodes/Wed-January-15-2014-Robert-Gates

I have flash player 11.9.900.700 installed and activated plugin (add-o) n.

I don't know what else to try to verify, or even if this video is a flash video.

  • On one site, Mozilla Firefox does not remember my password, but Internet Explorer doesn't.

Yesterday, I accessed my Bank Web site. I entered the account #, then the password. I got an error message on the password, even though I was pretty sure that the password is correct. I clicked on 'do not remember the password' and received the same password I had entered. I was really puzzled, but tried again. It still does not work. I then tried Internet Explorer after the advice of my Bank rep. I created a new password on Internet Explorer and managed to get the law through the Web site. Later, I tried Mozilla Firefox with the original password. Yet once again, the password was not accepted, but when I asked to have access to the correct password, they gave me the new password I was entered on Internet Explorer. I am very confused. Help, please!

    Hi Mez1115,

Once you have changed your password, the OLD password is no longer valid. You must use the NEW password to access your account, regardless of the browser you use.

  • How to remove the tabs I've done in FireFox 4 (not the AP tabs) but regular TABS? I am in TEARS. Help, please!

I love Fire Fox. I downloaded the latest version: Fire Fox (4). I became crazy adding tabs at the top of my browser (like 20 different tabs). If was a huge mistake... and now it of so slow... and crashes constantly. I should have stuck with bookmarks instead... or only a few tabs... like 2 or 3. Now I want to remove the tabs, I did... but can't figure out how. It should be as simple as right click... Remove the tab... or as easy to create tabs was... but it's not. Help, please. Mm69

Any chance that you define the many tabs as your 'home page' opens automatically when you start Firefox?

Reduce the tabs in closing those that you do not want, then click on Tools / Options / general and click the use current Pages button.

Next time you open, you will see only those active tabs.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Login Yahoo mail says Firefox do not accept the cookies, but my option is as cookies - so what's the problem?

My wife and I can not connect to our Yahoo email accounts (or, I suppose, our Yahoo account). Whenever we try, we get the message: "the browser you're using refuses to sign in (cookies rejected).

However, my cookies in Firefox is: 1) accept cookies 2) accept cookies third party 3) keep cookies until they expire.

There are a few days, I changed the cookie settings for 1) accept third-party cookies) 2 do not accept cookies 3) ask each time. I've also removed a lot of cookies I does not recognize or didn't want to. I did this because I was (and still am) having problems with a redirect virus.

So if anyone has any suggestions as to what needs to make accessible e-mail still Yahoo, I would much appreciate their advice.

I thank everyone for their advice in advance.

    Thank you 1 million.

Hello gkerby1952, please try all the steps mentioned in the Web sites say cookies are blocked - pledge.

In addition, if you encounter problems with redirection adware, I would recommend removing the Slick saves 2.6 & SoundFrost 3.7.0 extensions you have installed currently. also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

There has been problems reported on Windows Vista with the Microsoft Update kb3013455.
Microsoft has released an update to solve these problems.

MS15-010: Description of the update of the Windows kernel mode driver safety: 10 February 2015:

Difficulty for the degradation of quality text after security update 3013455 (MS15-010):

  • After the upgrade to Windows 10 Firefox does not display some Fonts/Icons correctly

Firefox displays a box with numbers inside instead of icons on some websites. I saw several other threads, and the problem was solved by allowing the pages to choose their own fonts. I confirmed this setting is enabled in the GUI and subject: config. However, the question is always natural. I disabled all addons, restarted FF and question persists. With the help of FF 40.0.3.

I found the root cause of the problem. In Windows 10 when the WIndows Firewall service is stopped (I like this option disabled, I throw a perimeter FW), the problem occurs. Start the Windows Firewall service and everything is fine. Hope this helps others.

  • Correct font not used

The dropdown at the top of the Web site display correctly in Firefox 8.01. I appears correctly in IE, Chrome, and Opera. It seems to me that Firefox does not use the correct font for display, which causes the list to wrap instead of displaying on a single line.

Turns out that it was a problem on the site - incorrect coding of CSS caused Firefox properly render the page. Can't explain why IE, Chrome and Opera correctly rendered page. Sorry, I don't have any additional information on the CSS coding.

  • Firefox does not take into account options made in the print preferences box. How to solve this problem... Please?

I need to adjust printing to 65%, then select a setting on the printer of non-standard. When I select PRINT, the preferences box is presented to the user, but the changes are ignored. Firefox is simply using the standard settings. How can I overcome this problem please... Please...? Thanks for your help

Hi Peter, is the problem with a PDF document? Financial sites generally use a PDF research reports and statements which need to have a very controlled format. Usually, you can tell that it is a PDF file, because the document will have a toolbar customized with its own print icon. I think that in this case, dialog layout Page of Firefox is not used because the document is already pre-formatted. But I do not know why the preferences would not work in this case.
