  I am running Windows 7 with 3 different profiles, all running Firefox seamlessly, except one. I tried different options listed on the main forum for this; However, the problem persists. I uninstalled and reinstalled the application, without success. The only thing I had problems understanding/fill has been to find the profile for the user > parent.lock file. I never found this file. I don't know, at this point, what else to do. I ran a virus scan and it's all good. Any suggestions? What I'm missing here?

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
