  Please forgive my newness but I'm creating a table with 10 + lines and columns and need to calculate the sum of the columns. The user must select a number from a drop-down list and I would like to summarize these nbumbers at the bottom of the column, seems simple enough...

  I'm trying to create a PDF file in which when an item is selected in a drop-down list, another field is given a specific value.

  Exact situation: I have created a photography print order form and there is a drop down menu to select the size of the print on the agenda (example: 4 x 6, 5 x 7, etc..) I want to set so that when a person chooses a certain size, say that 4 x 6, the "Unit price" field is automatically filled in with the price for 4 x 6.

  I have w7 x 64 office services and tablet and writing are disabled.
  However, I see the shit 'hand with a pencil icon' in all the check boxes and drop down menus.
  It is not even recognizable on small boxes and is a total bore.
  I run my desktop PC with w7 x 64 for over a year and the symbol appeared after I've upgraded to IE10.

  Meanwhile, I think that I found the real cause.
  I had turned off the segue UI fonts during the day even when I updated to IE10.
  Strange as appears only in IE10 I assumed it it was due to the update.

  to do my reading sharper, I had turned off cleartype according to http://www.davidjnice.com/articles/windows7_fonts.html
  I'm now setting replace to

  "Segoe UI Symbol (TrueType)"="seguisym.ttf" and voila, the handwriting symbol in IE10 is gone again.

  The fonts are really small in the bookmark drop down menus.

  There is a Firefox extension that allows you to enlarge the fonts in the menu and toolbar. You could give this a try and see if it works for bookmarks, too:

  Windows restarts itself could indicate a device driver incompatibility, usually associated with your graphics card.

  Instead to start Firefox normally, hold the SHIFT key to get the Security Mode/Reset dialog box and start safe mode. Then switch your acceleration hardware definition here:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  Safe mode automatically disables hardware acceleration, but this modification should enter into force when you quit Firefox and then start it again normally.

  The toolbars are still on display in your browser?

  If you still have the address bar, right click on any part that is not a text box or the icon, or if you do not like that of any space right click on the three horizontal lines on the right side of the address bar window. This should show some options, click on 'Menu Bar' and the tabs you are missing should appear.

  As a side note, usually if these options are missing, your icon of firefox in the upper left corner of the window should look different (being a rectangular button itself as opposed to an icon), and the 'file', 'Edition', 'Bookmarks', etc., are found after clicking on this button.
