    You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

    When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

    -Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
    -Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
    -Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

  • In Firefox using the top menu, for example in Google images, videos, map, etc., of a web page are not activated with the mouse. This does not happen when you use Internet Explorer, because all links are available.

    A notification can up on some type of script, which then disappeared before I could take a note. After that links up on all web pages would not work by using the mouse cursor.
    It was only the links on a webpage, not on the menu bar or tabs above.

    To see if this happened on another browser, I opened the pages using Internet Explorer and open the links on all the pages that are controlled via the mouse. This sugested, it was a problem with Firefox.

    I uninstalled Firefox and installed a new application of the latest edition of Firefox, but the problem persists.

    No known cure for this problem.

    This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

    If you decide to try one last thing, here are a few general tips:

    When you have a problem with a particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clear your browser cache and delete your cookies for the site.

    (1) delete the Cache of Firefox

    See: How to clear the cache of Firefox. If you have a large hard drive, this may take a few minutes.

    (2) remove the cookies from the site (waiting for work save first). While displaying a page on the site, try either:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.
    • Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".

    In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.

    Then try to reload the page and sign in again. Who help me?

  • My Web page works fine in Dreamweaver/Firefox and Safari but not will not work correctly in Internet Explorer. Help please

    Hello

    I downloaded my page from Dreamweaver yesterday and it works fine in Firefox and Safari, but when I open it on Internet explore, background tables have moved and the image links above have a white boarder around.

    Web page link: http://www.GS-designproject.co.UK/home.html

    any help much appreciated.

    Thank you

    GAV

    The white edges around your images are created as they are integrated into the links. Add the following to your stylesheet:

    an img {}

    border: none;

    }

    The problem with the line of the table at the bottom reads:

    colspan = "760px" height = "40" valign "middle"="" >

    The colspan attribute takes the number of columns that you are stretching on, not a number of pixels. Judging by the rest of the table, to colspan = "7".

    OS Windows XP Home, service pack 3

    Hi sununpa, need not you uninstall internet explorer or windows media because of its integration of system player, this would make the System unstable. And anyway, it is not possible to uninstall, it is just possible to disable them.

  • My site shows and works fine in Chrome and Firefox. It is exactly the opposite with Safari and Internet Explorer.

    In safari, the site takes as much time to load and once loaded, the police of the web that I used is replaced by a defect in safari, I guess. My video background takes a longer time to load once the site is loading. In internet explore, my site simply doesn't show as expected. I have 5 guides to navigation on the right side of the site, but about 11 are displayed. The artist's statement is not displayed in the bio section. Here's the url... leecatarts.businesscatalyst.com

    Please, any suggestions would be great!

    I think that you have solved the problem I checked the site with Safari and IE, but was not able to display the same behavior as mentioned. The site works very well.

    Thank you

  • Photos in htm file do not appear.

    With a Web site, I created a htm file using the Word save as function to convert a docx file containing the text and embedded jpg images. Firefox displays the text but not images in the htm file. Internet Explorer displays both. I am confused because I have several other htm files that appear as you want using Firefox.

    I use Windows 7, Word 2010 and Firefox 18.0.1. As far as I know, all are up to date.

    Thanks, but I solved the problem, and obviously before you accessed the web page problem. My solution was to save = using the option "filtered". I don't know why it worked because I haven't used this approach on several other doc to htm conversions.
