Firefox stuck as maximized, "restore down" minimizes the window

Firefox window is stuck as enlarged, the restore down does not work correctly.

"restore down" minimizes the window & it won't then return to the screen unless I right click on it on the task bar & then click maximize.

Button reduce works as it should and the window can be restored (maximize) clicking on Firefox in the taskbar.

When it happened first, I closed Firefox & restarted Windows (Vista). This has not solved the problem

This is caused by Firefox 'restoration' as a small window "off screen" for some reason any. This bug has existed for a while, but for some reason some has never been properly fixed. Restarts without worrying won't fix because it maintains simply restore the window off screen ever time.

The work around is to select the window in the task bar, click on 'move' and then press an arrow key. This will bring the window on the screen where it can be relative to the size, most of the time that he wouldn't do it again, it seems to happen more often for me during a restore, but it is a sporadic, so I'm not sure what makes.

  • Mozilla firefox shortcuts Web site is down. The date limit is about to end in a few hours and I can't upload my entry. What should I do?

    Nice day! I'm Ian Abaya, and I would like to learn more about the Mozilla Firefox shortcuts site internal server error. I'm already downloading my entry for the contest this afternoon, but after I clicked 'next', the server went down, and I couldn't access the site anymore. I am aware that the competition is until 23:59 on 31 July in PST, when I was downloading my entry it was only 03:00 PST on July 31. I'm afraid that the server would be down to the date of the deadline and I won't be able to present my video entry that I and my team have been very passionate and spent our time, effort, and resources to produce from now, it is already 04:58 31 July in PST. I hope that there is something that can be done on it, thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!

    (link added to the site which is currently down - c threshold)

    Hello, ianabaya.

    We are sorry to hear that you are encoutering problems download your registration form on the site of Firefox shortcuts.

    Unfortunately, the site was a few hours due to a power failure (as can be read on our official Twitter account: https://twitter.com/FirefoxFlicks/status/362585439707734017 ) and some candidates for the nomination so were not able to upload their entries during this time.

    Fortunately, the Firefox site shortcuts is now back up and running and always accepts applications all downloaded until tonight (July 31) at 23:59 the South Pacific time.

    I hope that this might clear up some confusion and wish you the best of luck in the contest. This would be the answer to your question, please mark it as such, so our automated system can close the message.

    I thank you for your interest in Mozilla and have a nice day!

  • My Firefox tabs resize when I minimize the window of the browser

    Hello

    I was working on Firefox when I had to reduce the window of the browser. I noticed that earlier, all the tabs in the window would resize automatically to fit the new window size. Now, however, the size of the tabs remains constant, which means that unless the 3 - odd first tabs, all the others disappear inside the browser window.

    It must be because of some addon conflicts I guess. However, I can't figure out who it is. Is it possible to make the tabs resize without having to trace what addon caused this problem?

    Thank you

    Maybe you previously had the extension Default FullZoom Level. This extension has an adjustment to the setting of the window, although it may not work correctly in some cases.

  • Forms10g + JRE: minimize the window IE after login

    Dear professionals,
    is anyway to minimize program window of internet explorer (or firefox) after the logon user for the application (except manually, of course :))?) We use JRE rather Jinitiator and property separate_window = true. Because users sometimes accidentally close opening IE windows, so they close asked - I want to minimize those risks.
    Thanks in advance,
    Adnan

    Basically there is the

    htmlBeforeForm

    and

    htmlAfterForm

    Settings in the formsweb.cfg where you can add additional html and JavaScript. Just Google how to minimize a window via JavaScript and put it in the htmlAfterForm

    This will reduce the browser window when you load your forms application. If you want to run javascript on certain events (for example in a trigger WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED) you can do it with

    web.show_document

    Just search here on JavaScript forum and take a look. I'm sure you'll find a starting point. Of course if you have trouble, or something is not clear for you feel free to ask :)

    see you soon

    P.S.: implementations of JavaScript differ between browsers, I can assure you of headaches; What workes in IExplorer does not work in Firefox and vice versa. If you encounter problems with this please add versions of full browser as well as this material certainly in this case.

    Hi talhasabir,

    The closest you can get use Windows + M key that will minimize all windows. You can use Windows + D (display the desktop). You use this shortcut will allow you to use Windows + D now show the last window before the display of the desktop computer.

  • run a while loop in separate vi, minimize the window flashing

    My apologies in advance for not including a VI; I cannot give it, cannot even provide screenshots.

    I have a state machine base with a cluster of Boolean values that are analyzed in the 'default' State, the scan index = true determining the next State. All other States to return to the default state. The State of 'stop' stop the loop with a Boolean constant = True, located inside the structure case wired to the time entry conditional loop (all States have a Boolean constant False wired to it). Apart from the cases

    statement, the wire connected to the conditional entry is connected to a Boolean indicator, ' Stop, in really. The time delay within the State of the machine while loop is currently set at 100 ms.

    In addition to the 'State' shift register, the state machine has a "boolean" shift register. All States, except one, feeds the value passed the Boolean value through to the next State (i.e. wired directly from left to right the structure of the case). The exception is the State which inverts the Boolean value, with the output of the inverter transferred to the State following and also connected to a Boolean flag, 'Show the State', the

    indicator outside the case statement but inside the while loop. All other States wire just the previous state of the Boolean value through the following State, unchanged.

    In addition to the State of the machine while loop, I have a parallel while loop (scourge of the LV forums). All entered conditional loop is connected to a local variable to 'stop, really. " A True/False case in this while loop structure contains a Subvi in the case of True value. The Boolean value of entry to the case statement is connected to a local variable for 'Show status'. The Subvi, which is in the real case is to display the State of the

    user.

    The Subvi which provides status through its frontage runs a script in python via a 'comand prompt"vi. The necessary update to the python command send is ~ 1/second. Within the Sub - VI is a 1 second delay time after execution of the code.

    It works but I'm doing some improvements with minimal impact on what I have.

    Two cases of VI properties that relate to the conduct of the State Subvi (floating or default, modal does not at all):

    1. with "Firm when previously closed" selected, the window switches VI (via the main switch VI) open and closed but when it is open there is the a second window flash that could cause seizures in some users.

    2. with "closes when previously closed" deselected, the window remains open and it is difficult to tell the difference between the running state and is not running. In addition, the Subvi window will not be reduced for this option.

    Is there a little invasive change, I have the code in force to stop a second flash described in #1 above and activate / deactivate the Subvi status window?

    Thank you

    Jeff

    1. Since we are working in percentages, it's best not to use side padding on the sidebars. It will be added to the width for standards compliant browsers creating an unknown actual width.
    2. Space between the side of the div and the elements within it can be created by placing a left and right margin on those elements as seen in the ".thrColLiqHdr #sidebar1 p" rule.
    3. Since Explorer calculates widths after the parent element is rendered, you may occasionally run into unexplained bugs with percentage-based columns. If you need more predictable results, you may choose to change to pixel sized columns.

    It's one of the problems with the liquid (%) according to. In your default.css file, replace the top 2o selection rules with the following:

    {body
    do-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, without serif.
    do-size: 12px;
    Color: #333;
    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;
    background: url(images/main-right.png) repeat-y;
    }
    .thrColLiqHdr #container {}
    Width: 95%;

    min-width: 870px; / * prevent collapsing page * /.
    Auto margin: 0;
    background: url(/images/halftone1.png);
    }

  • With the last update, I can't minimize a window by double-clicking. I want to cut a window in the dock, not hide all open windows.

    I'm a Mac, set user updated to 30.0. Now when I double click to minimize the window in the dock instead of minimize the particular window open, I'm in I get a new tab. I don't find a way to simply reduce the specific window, only to hide all Firefox. I don't want to hide it, I want to only show the dock window is available not not open on the desktop at this time.

    Suggestions did not exactly help (thanks for trying so fast however) except that to try, I looked in the Menu Bar "Window" drop-down menu and he was there: minimize-> order Mr. he does exactly what I want, reducing the window I'm toward the dock, where he sits with the icon reminding me that this is. Thanks for your help.
