• Import buttons, then changing in Flash help

  Howdy,

  I'm a noob in Flash and watched some basic tutorials to help me get started on the basics. I bought a Flash button that when more wriggle a an expolsion of fireworks. This source is reliable as I bought here from the store of MMFILES.com and is a production of Patrick Jansen Design.

  I give myself 6 buttons of each with different types of explosion. All I'm doing is change the text to fit a menu bar that I've created in Dreamweaver.

  For the life of me I can't understand these basic instructions.

  1. unzip the .zip file.

  2. open flash CS3 or higher

  3. open fireworks_button.fla

  Firworks component 4. drag"button"library of .fla fireworks_.fla to the new .fla library you want to use it in.

  5.Drag component 'Fireworks button' at the new library of .fla with fireworks on the new scene/canvas of the new .fla

  6. Select the component button with fireworks on stage and the open Component Inspector

  7. choose "setting"Button text"text button should display.

  8 set the other to love you.

  OK, I'm confused is in steps 4 to 6.

  I have 1 window open in flash above my scene that I have 2 HTML documents to pass. firework_button and the one I created without title-1

  Here is where I have my problem. I can go to the library of fireworks and made button drag to a new created library in Untitles-1, but when I drag on stage can't find any inspector comoponent. I go to the window and open component of the inspect "Shift + F7" and he is not there and said to select instance to change its settings. "

  from here, I've tinkered autour dominating in the property for example window name, but it just keep opening up more choices when I click something like change the text. I don't know I've spent hours on it, and all I want to do is change the text of the buttons.

  Once you open the Inspector, click on your button component to select it.  now, check the Inspector panel.  It should give options as described by the author of the component.

  If it's not, and you will see that "check the properties panel, open the control panel (window/properties) properties, click the component to select it and check the properties panel."  You may need to scroll down the properties panel, and you may need to open sub-panels.

  I import a button 3 positions of the library. I use the 9 slice tool to set the size of the button, enter text in the properties box. Tried to change the font, style or even to use the fonts in the styles tab..no luck. I'm just

• Filters of Photoshop in Fireworks?

  Dear Sirs
  I installed the trial version of Fireworks cs3 and Photoshop cs3. I put the plugin > file filters in the Panel files preferably, I restarted Fireworks button no new filter appears. Why? Maybe trial versions don't allow this?

  Only 5.5 PS or lower filters will work with FW so far. However,.
  There are many other third-party filters out there who will work with fw.

• Change the apperence of key so all instances on the page change as well?

  I want my own design Fireworks button so I can easily change his appearance and all instances of it on the page will be updated, keeping the changes I made to their text.

  What you have to realize is that it.
  When you convert objects (text, shapes, etc.) to a symbol (in your case, a button), all these objects get "condensed" into a single object symbol. You interact (changes) with the elements of each symbol (text, shapes, etc.) by entering symbol Edit Mode (as mentioned above).

  Just double-click on the symbol on the canvas, make changes, and then click Done (FW3) / home navigation icon (FW4).

• So I try to import a button into a document in Dreamweaver, HTML in fireworks, but the button does not work.

  The button itself works perfectly in two Fireworks preview mode, and if I open the button by double clicking on it in the menu of sites in Dreamweaver.   Fireworks generated code is blind.  And these scripts MM working capital have been an unfortunate error of judgment.  The programmer should have taken this code on the back, and he's driving a tank.

  You're better off using Fireworks for images only.

• Having problems to make my Fireworks done button to work in Adobe Dreamweaver CS6

  Hello, I am currently using a trial version of Adobe CS6 Fireworks and Dreamweaver and I was wondering why my button I created with a up, a plus and a low State does not work in dreamweaver... when I saw my button in Fireworks is everything in order and it works fine but when I click on Html Fireworks of the button code When I paste it into dreamweaver and previsualisez, dreamweaver doesen't seem to show more or down States... any help would be much appreciated.

  I also had the same problem, and fortunately, I found a solution very simple. I did as follows:

  (1) export my reversal of Fireworks graphics in the html and images (I hope that it will be obvious to you)

  (2) display the source Fireworks code spits (you can do this Strait in Dreamweaver for convinience)

  (3) in the header, find and copy all of the

  (4) paste it into the header of the document you want to add to

  (5) go back to yourand to find out where you want to insert your bearing. Place your cursor there. (this should also be obvious)

  6) go to Insert-> objects-> Fireworks HTML Image.

  (7) found the Fireworks HTML file gave you

  8) test in a browser by pressing F12

  Recently, I created a clickable button with a substitution effect. I did iin FW CS5 as symbol and exported. So, I now have the .html file and 2 (my button States 2) image files. The button itself works fine on an online site. Now, I want to learn a technique to be able to put this button with the effect and the link in it on an image (it's like a button's background).

  I created a button with popup menu of fireworks, I saw the button and preview in fireworks gives an overview of the pop-up menu in the excatly the correct position, however when I insert the Fireworks HTML code in a Table in Dreamweaver and previsualisez in IE the table jumps to the top of the button, I tried to move the start position in Fireworks then export again, but the problem is still there. Under the button in the table after insert Dreamweaver adds what looks like a Golden Shield opportunity / anchor with my pop-up Description of the menu, I guess it's the pop-up of the menu Description, this is what causes the problem. ?.
  
  I enclose the HTML for the experts that I know are hiding on this forum.
  
  Becomes very frustarted now. !. I'm so close to make the Pop up menu bar done and people here said it does not work, once this fix is over I'm ready.

• Batch processing to create the button sets in Fireworks - help

  I'm still new to Fireworks, I created a few really simple buttons and I was wondering if it is possible to do a batch on them to repeat a few for example change of background color, the border color, the color of text etc... This would allow me to save a lot of time and I was able to do a few extra games then.

  canvas.
  Organize them in a way that makes sense to you. You can duplicate each set
  and change the colors in several ways. In my example

  I downloaded the trial of fireworks (via CC) on December. Now that the trial period has expired, when I click the 'Buy now' button, it takes me to an error page (https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/store/handlers/elicensing/buybutton.cfm? & productID = 193 & relea is = 2.0 & platform = 2 & local = ALL).

  When I open the application of creative cloud, on my Mac, by clicking on the applications tab displays a list of applications that do not include the fireworks.

  Is it not possible to buy fireworks, on any deal? The app is "dead"? Adobe "killed"?

  Fireworks is not available as a single App subscription. You can get CS6 fireworks as part of a full membership of Cloud, or you can buy fireworks CS6 outright.

• Menus in Fireworks and Dreamweaver templates

  I created some button and drop down menus in Fireworks CS6. They seem good. I then created a template in Dreamweaver CS6 and added the Fireworks HTML code to the model and saved as a template. Live view mode shows good drop downs and stationary. Then I tried to attach a template to a page, and I also create a model page. I have two stationary circumstances does not work. Any suggestions?

  Thank you all. I have pleasure to fight through questions that t allows me to store solutions. All of the edge where great. In the end, this is what I found.

  1 Yes working with Fireworks is tedious at best. Menus in Fireworks will work in the models. Yes I created a template page in the correct Manor. However, the translation works well with these scripts in Fireworks and the menus.

  -Solution = I corrected the complete image URL links. Example: changed... liabilities to http://www.sethermal.com/assets.

  -It fixes all problems of hover, I had.

  2. Yes, I like CSS. I learned a lot through all tips from you guys. I build menus using CSS only for new customers.

  3 Finally, Yes, I see how the Hover link area extends to the right. I can live with that. I need to reduce the link Hover area so I don't cover the adjacent top menu bar button. I will continue to work on "positioning", etc..
