  LR CC 2015 is the version you will get with your membership to the CC and you will receive updates at all times.

  LR6 is the stand-alone version of Lightroom.

  # It is simply not possible for technical reasons. CC started with the CS6 and that is as far as you can go backwards.

  Your system is compatible with the CS6 and will.

  However versions of the product remains on the upgrade. To install and use the updated version, please update your operating system.

• An email address associated with a subscription of the CC can be changed?

  I just spent more than two hours of frustration chatting with not less than five agents.  I tried to have the email address associated with my CC subscription has changed.  Finally, I was told that this absolutely cannot be done.  My only recourse is to cancel the subscription (so likely to lose access to the rest of the subscription period) and re-subscribe.

  I find it very hard to believe that I am the only person to edit email during their subscription period.  The problem I have, is that now my CC email address is different from the one that I use to log in to adobe.com, so my account on adobe.com shows that I have only access to the trial versions of the software, although I use the two PS and LR CC happily without any problem.

  The only reason why this came, it's that, in order to renew, I need to change my credit card details, so I can't just leave things update automatically.

  Has anyone else been to change an e-mail address associated with one under CC?  And if so, how he was doing?

  Hi Martin,

  Emails for CC cannot really be changed. However, you can cancel your subscription and redemption with a different email (Adobe ID).

  Cancellation fees are waived in the case where you re - signup.

• CS6 with Windows 7. The menu item file-> file Info... not working anymore. Opens a window of the white aircraft, but never any information file appears. How can I fix this?

  The fix goes like this:

  Create a new text file called XMP.cfg (make sure that the extension is cfg and not txt).

  The only text that should be in this file is as below:

  C:\

  Copy the file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust (create the directory if not already there).

  Restart the Adobe application and review the file information panel.

  I realized that I was wrong... duh! I seem to have two accounts and is only allowed to use Story more. Worked very well now.

  There are two versions of DWCS6, a version of download/drive perpetual license bought for about US $400 and creative cloud version that comes with a subscription to the CC.

  If your subscription expires and you have the DWCS6 CC version, what you describe is the expected behavior. If you bought the $400 program version, you may reinstall and reactivate using the Adobe Id allowing you to purchase initially. Who will be the id registered with the activation info and may be different from your CC ID

  I would say before the reinstallation of your disks running the cleanup tool: use the Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems if you still have problems after cleaning/uninstall/reinstall, you will probably need to contact Adobe directly: contact customer service

  I have a subscription CS6.

  I had not used FW cs6 (service subscription version) for a few months, perhaps in December. But I used it and predecessors regularly for years and today the CS6 subscription version would not open with Mac 10.8.3 where it shows essentially the splash screen and then puts mac in overdrive with about 62% of CPU where mac reports monitor "(Not Responding) and same message menu Force Quit."

  So I rename prefs in the library and in support of the application. It does not work.

  Then I removed the Fireworks CS6 using uninstall and reinstalled from the Adobe Application Manager.

  When the problem started first of all, you would see at least the window doc, empty, no sign, no menu. but now after reinstall just to see a small gray window clear upper-left corner of screen on px (approx.) 100 narrow width and about 400 px (approx.) with six horizontal lines.

  I'm really dependent on FW as I used it since the days of Macromedia.

  So I'm at a lost what to do next.

  Spent an hour online chat support with Adobe. Not real happy about this experience.

  Most of the time spent to collect information about me. I would say I got about 5 minutes of the time on the real problem. But this process of support catastrophic deserved a different broadcast.

  After going with three people, post this link twice for two of them and once for the last of them, the end of the installation team, they concluded that I have to make a call, the number of the media and talking to a person of resolution. Can't see how that's better, using a voice to communicate technical issues, but I will try and take stock.

  But in the meantime if anyone has an idea where to look. It feels almost FW is reloading of modules or herself behind the scenes.

  Problem has been resolved. The Flash Player Plugin was obsolete. Once I have updated that, this problem has been resolved.
