• Activation of Fireworks MX 2004

  I have a copy of Macromedia Studio MX 2004 that I used on my old PC. Having just updated my PC I would like to continue using Fireworks MX 2004. I am able to load the program from the original disc, but I'm unable to activate the program online, even though I tried to present my license number. I suspect that the program is looking for a Macromedia server that no longer exists. The program works well, but I am limited to a free trial period of 30 days. Is there a way for Adobe to help me to activate my license. It seems a shame to have to buy another product when Fireworks 2004 works great and meets my limited needs / requirements.

  If I can no longer use Fireworks 2004, should what other products I use? I mainly use Fireworks for preparation of images (resizing, brightness, contrast, optimization etc.) before loading heavy picture on a web site. I particularly liked the fact that Fireworks was designed to Web site optimization.

  I got a new laptop from work and had to reinstall Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004.  I used the new serial number, they gave me this year (2015) since they stopped support/activation. He worked for a few months, but now, everytime I open the Fireworks, it makes me to re-enter the serial number! It works, but only temporarily until I close it, then I re - enter the number each time. Ugh.

  I have a CD under license of Macromedia Studio MX 2004. It is said on the WIN/MAC CD, but when I look at the content of the CD is all the .exe, and I don't see anything that resembles MAC installation files.

  You do not have. You have a Windows CD. You will need to contact Adobe, and
  share your Windows license for Mac license.

  I have recently purchased a copy of Fireworks MX 2004 "WeHaveSoftware.com" and requires a serial number to install the software completely. However I have not received a serial number. Can someone please tell me a way to get a serial number of Adobe/Macromedia, so I can install the software completely?

  MS Office 2011 is still supported by Microsoft.

  I works fine on my MacBook Pro mid-2012 13 "run macOS Sierra.

  I upgraded to El Capitan, and it did not affect MS Office 2011.

  All you have to do is to install the updates for MS Office 2011.

  If MS Office breaks all what you need to do is reinstall Office 2011 but it will work with macOS Sierra.

  You can connect an external drive of ExFat formatted. The OSX and Windows can read/write on a disk formatted ExFat.

  A virtual machine has its advantages, as does a Boot Camp facility. A virtual machine allows the simultaneous OS, any necessary initialization to change operating systems. Data can be shared between operating systems more easily. Computer such as memory resources are shared in a VM for applications environment to run slower.

  Installation of Boot Camp allows Windows to run in native mode by using all of the system resources, so apps will go faster. But to change operating systems, a reboot is required. It is more difficult to share data.

  GarageBand on an iOS device cannot open GarageBand for Mac projects, but a mac can open GarageBand compatible for iPhone/iPad projects.

  So, you might send your friend only mixed audio files. Your friend should add the sound to the Music.app on the iPad Pro and then add the new joint audio tracks in GarageBand. It is quite complicated, because you need to merge the titles added your friend in your original on the Mac project.

• PowerPoint for Mac bar vertical scrolling does not work in the Sierra

  I have downloaded Sierra, open a PowerPoint for Mac 2011 version 14.5.4 and immediately noticed that the vertical scroll with my mouse does not work. They're only going to 'up' (for example, slide 14, 13, 12, 11, 10) or will be stuck between 2 blades.

  I unplugged and replugged my mouse, turned PPT market twice and rebooted my MacBook. No change.

  I know it's early days and these are the pains of growth with the new OS, but I use PPTX constantly.

  Any tips are appreciated.

  Have the same problem. I don't know that this isn't a mouse problem because it happens when I use the touchpad as well.
