• Fireworks MX 2004 - new serial number works temporarily

  I got a new laptop from work and had to reinstall Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004.  I used the new serial number, they gave me this year (2015) since they stopped support/activation. He worked for a few months, but now, everytime I open the Fireworks, it makes me to re-enter the serial number! It works, but only temporarily until I close it, then I re - enter the number each time. Ugh.

• Fireworks MX 2004 for Mac

  Anyone who can be useful, thanks in advance. Fireworks MX 2004 had for almost a year and it worked without any problem. all of a sudden yesterday, the app close unexpectedly and has not been restarted successfully. I reinstalled the Fireworks; and then reinstalled all - all other MX 2004 programs work very well.

  I have recently purchased a copy of Fireworks MX 2004 "WeHaveSoftware.com" and requires a serial number to install the software completely. However I have not received a serial number. • Disable XP Theme support in Fireworks MX 2004

  I recently upgraded to a new computer and had to reinstall Fireworks. the installation of fireworks on my old machine has flat gray on strips of paper, and the palette title bar. on this new installation (using the same installation CD), it has degraded there bruises on the palette title bar and document tabs. While doing the design work, I'd rather widely to have a neutral grey interface.
  
  I disabled the XP theme support, because I prefer to use the classic interface "Windows". If I re - enable theme support and spend money theme blue, the colors of fireworks will change cash degraded. However, then I have to deal with the title bars chunky and other candies for the eyes of the Luna theme. When I go to my custom theme "Classic Windows", back blue gradients.
  
  -Anyone know how to get Macromedia MX 2004 apps to ignore the XP themes? I've already activated the option "Disable visual themes" under the tab "Compatibility" of the menu right click 'Properties' on the application itself and the related shortcuts. It doesn't have any effect.

• Problem activating Macromedia Studio MX 2004

  Can someone tell me how to turn on Studio MX 2004? I've had this software for years and now I have a new computer and I need to continue to use it. I realize that it is old software, but it meets my needs and I have no interest in more bells and whistles and learning of newer versions. Support (chat and telephone) were no help at all - I guess that's because the software is earlier than Adobe's Macromedia acquisition. There must be a way to continue to use the software that I bought? (Which incidentally does not on Windows 7).

• Activation of Dreamweaver MX 2004 problem

  I have not found all the other posts with exactly the same problem, so I really hope that someone can help you.

  After the use of Dreamweaver MX 2004 for 8 years and more on a single PC, I'm installing it on a newer PC (running Windows XP Professional SP2).  In the activation window, he accepts my serial No. and displays the green check mark, but when I click on continue, it says that it cannot connect to the internet - even if everything else on the computer (browser, e-mail, etc.) can access the internet fine.  My AVG Firewall automatically added Dreamweaver with access to the internet, but just to be safe, I've disabled the firewall and tried again.  Same error message - enabling cannot connect to the internet.

  When I try the option "activate by phone", 2 phone numbers it displays are both incorrect.

  I've not chosen "transfer license" on the old computer again - I dare not do it until I can be sure that ONE of the computers can be activated.  However, what I've read, this isn't the problem - it gives a different error message for this, not an error message internet connection.

  I tried Adobe online chat, which sent me to "support for the Adobe 800-833-6687 voice Support and Customer Service".  They told me that my only option was to post on the forum and someone would be able to help me.  This seems very strange and another post on the forum that seemed similar doesn't seem to get a lot of help, but I don't know what else to do, so here I am.

  What should I do to get this active?

• Fireworks with the display fonts problem?

  I'm using Fireworks MX 2004 and found that several fonts display incorrectly that only the botom half of each letter is the display.
  I watched the font file and which is very good, he tried in other applications such as flash, word, powerpoint, where it is absolutely perfect, so it's a problem of fireworks. Tried to reinstall than the police, but can't seem to determine what is causing the problem. They are all .ttf files.

• Fireworks graphics sliced appear cracked in FIREFOX

  Hi all

  I was wondering if anyone knows the solution to this problem. I have a chart sliced on my site. It looks great in IE, but in the latest version of the firefox browser, the graphics appear cracked with gaps between the different parts.

  Someone knows a way to solve this problem... and no, NOT WITH FIREFOX, is not a solution...

  I use FIREWORKS MX 2004 for that and never had this problem before. In all Versions of IE looks great and works great.

• DW cs3 Fireworks table Edit tries to open the mx2004 fw

  I created a page from fireworks CS3 open in dreamweaver CS3.
  
  When I click the button Edit in Fireworks table properties, it says "unable to launch c:\program files\macromedia\fireworks mx 2004\fireworks.exe.
  
  I uninstalled fireworks mx 2004, so I don't understand why dreamweaver is still looking for it!
  (I indicated fireworks.exe in regedit to 'open' and 'Edit with' fireworks cs3 as png did not open Explorer windows)
  Can someone help me please?

  I have not round to do the regedit thing but went directly into "Préférences" then "file types / Editors' and followed exactly what katsuey's says:"

  This is something that I keep meaning to ask and keep forgetting except when I run again in it.
  
  How is it that Fireworks MX 2004 changes colors even if they are safe from web? Why change it at all?
  That would be a reason to use PS?

• SSM - IPS 6.03E1 unwanted blocking

  Hi all

  I do some tests in the laboratory and came across something that is interesting to me:

  I activated sigs 2000 and 2004 to test that the ips inspects traffic and checked the action for these 2 sigs as producealert only. Worked well with sev alert information. However, when the TES to quick raisng SPI begins to block icmp packets, even though the action related to the signature is produced alert. Why the IPS blocks this traffic? I'm missing something here. As always, help is appreciated.

  There is a default event-action-override for deny-package-inline that is added to all events with a side of risk of 90 or higher.

  When you run the Setup program on the sensor, one of the last questions is "parameters of prevention threatens to change by default? [None] ».

  If you answer 'no', then the default value remains active. Your signatures of 2000 and 2004 will generate a risk score greater than 90 if you change high gravity and therefore will be automatically denied.

  If you answer "Yes" then you are provided the option to disable these default settings.
