• Not allowed to use my premium production CS6 on laptop and desktop?

  Hello!

  I have already posted a couple of different questionsin the hardware forum since I am in the market for a new laptop. My problem is now one of the installation and so I post here.

  With respect to computers, I have now decided to wait the GS60 MSI (laptop) out, but since I do not know how much time I'll have to wait and I'm in serious need of a new computer, I went out and bought a used desktop computer that will do the trick in the meantime.

  Then I set up my desktop, installed my CS6 production premium suite, used the creative cloud (free version included in the suite) to download a few projects of my laptop and then upload them to my new desktop computer. Everything was going, until I got a second draft in first pro when suddenly a window popped up saying something like "Lisa HP uses the same series/number keys, please reinstall the plugin and use a valid/uniqe keys series/number" and then a red cross appears everywhere in my images.

  HP of Lisa is my old laptop by the way I use again, in part as a laptop school, but I also want to keep editing on it while I'm on the go. Even if it's a nightmare to do serious editing on it is perfectly fine for some easy Assembly, at the beginning.

  I was under the impression that I am authorized to install my creative combination on multiple computers, am I bad? Once I get my new laptop (May 6-12 months) I probably won't have to use a desktop computer more, but in the meantime, I won't be able to work on my projects on my desktop and my laptop.

  What I really need to uninstall the garment on my laptop to use it on my desktop? I thought that the cloud was all about sharing between computers and I was really looking forward to be able to use cs6 on my two computers.

  I spent a lot of money on my costume and I never exspected to have this problem, of course, I would be able to edit on my laptop and desktop computer, right? Or am I really supposed to buy the costume a second time? This really isn't an option for me, especially since it will only be for a few months.

  If someone could help clear this up for me that would be great. Thanks in advance

  If this is not software Creative Cloud then an additional restriction, is that you can only use one of the facilities enabled at any time.

  It's good enough for a laptop. should work just fine. the gforce is a little slower than a desktop counterpart, but work remains.  I don't know if there are specific problems with cs6 and your equipment if.

  I think you can continued to have problems if you can not uninstall/clean/reinstall.

  If the preferences reset help, create a DVD, Blu - Ray not, for your first tests. Also, have no disc in your burner.

  You can save up to two machines. If you ever find you want to turn on a machine and to transfer the license, you can do this by clicking on help > Deactivate...

• I accidentally uninstalled first CS6/Encore CS6 and CC manager says it is always installed

  I'm on a PC running Windows 7. I wanted to install still just, CS6 and install CS6 first to do this (WHY?).

  Anyway, I was going to uninstall CS6 first because I first CC, and accidentally, I checked again and first CS6 when the uninstall program is right. CC Manager said that Premiere CS6 is always installed when it is not. I have to install again for a project immediately.

  Bhorv67 first please try to quit smoking and the reopening of the desktop application cloud creative to force a refresh.  If the first CS6 is still listed as being installed then please see that Creative Cloud AAM lists the Applications as "up-to-date" in the no facility not - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html for additional solutions to the difficulties that you are facing currently.

• First CS6 plays is not the Cineform files

  I have a few problems in a project basis of cineform. I am using just stock first CS6 and Cineform Studio premium installed. I use a mac Pro, 24 GB of RAM, nvidia card 2008 cheaper stock (not compatible with the CUDA), with Lion installed. I think that my sequence settings are on DSLR quality corresponding to the resolution of the cineform files. There is a chance that they are sequences of office. I started this project later on CS5 and done my sequences here.

  The problem is that 2 of the 3 times I opened first, thumbnails of clip timeline attract and when I have the monitor of the reading program is in the black. Audio plays back ok, but clips of cineform on the timeline do not work. If I try to open an item in the source monitor, it will update the file in the project location to show "Media disconnected". The media is there and in the first are linking to. If I try to close the first time affected by the foregoing it does not close and I have to force close it. Only a reboot of the system will be first opens correctly after that.

  There are moments where the project opens very well however. I don't see a pattern. If it was a problem of Cineform so I don't expect first to be crashing as if it were. That's why I'm here reported.

  This was solved when we officially supported CS6 in the version v1.2, which was June 8.

  I have a desktop computer Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with an ASUS M4A87TD EVO motherboard. Recently, I have a problem with my Wired Saitek Eclipse PZ30AU keyboard: when I type, the typical button does not appear on the screen. In other words, the keys are unresponsive. The keyboard is turned on, if the office is enabled/disabled. Even if, at the time, while he was working, the light is always disabled whenever the office is off. I don't know why it is informed, even if the office is off.

  My wired mouse usb works fine. I even tried my USB adapter for wireless network in two USB ports, and I still have the signal, so I guess it works very well too. The on-screen keyboard works.
  However, I tried to connect the keyboard desktop on my laptop and for some reason, what works. I also tried to use a different keyboard on my desk, and it actually works.
  I downloaded the chipset, the driver M4A87TD EVO BIOS 2001 driver and a driver of NEC Electronics Corporation USB 3.0 controller. But first, I had to install the Akamai NetSession Interface. After that I downloaded all three files, I installed the chipset driver and USB driver in uncompressing them, by clicking on each file, by clicking on Setup. For some reason, the BIO 2001 pilot had only a ROM file, so I just deleted total. After installing and restarting the computer, the keyboard does not.

  I want to emphasize that, before even manually, download the drivers, I tried using WIndows Update to install all important and recommended updates. After the computer restarts, the guarded keyboard lights flashing on and outside.
  So, I ask two things:
  1.) how does my original keyboard does not work on my desktop, but works on my laptop? And my keyboard works for both laptop and desktop?
  2.) can I keep I have installed the drivers or uninstall them?

• Export a clip of first CS6

  Have nested 4 short clips (about 10 sec.) on the timeline in the first CS6 and export this clip to save and use in other projects of first CS6. How can I do this please?

  I'd go to Quicktime with the animation codec.

  I found two bugs in the 6.0.5 update for Premiere CS6

  1. bad display of the total duration of an element in the preview monitor

  If you define an in - out point in the control screen the time between the in - and outpoint is not always displayed correctly. You can increase the error when you set an in - and exit point, then move area of the chronology of the Preview monitor. Tit total of the element is displayed and not the time between in and out.

  2 Preview must be already made when using the sequences nested .

  Take nested sequences, where one of the sequences comes another project et return le Overview (red bars in the timeline turns green), save project and close. Now the project is open again, the bars are red again. But only in the sequence, the sequence has been included from another project.

  In the first CS6 6.0.3 all works very well. Anyone can reproduce this error?

• PC/first CS6 for Mac/FCP

  I have images for my Publisher. My preliminary changes will be in the first (CS6) and I'm working on a PC. It will work on a Mac with Final Cut Pro.

  Is there some file formats or things I could do to ensure a seamless transfer? I was counting on the export of an AVI file. I would like to be the highest quality possible. I don't want any drama of codec.

  I have never seen a 'transparent' transfer, but here's what I did.

  Export your project plans as a Final Cut Pro .xml and cross your fingers.

  According to what is in your project, all will not result.

  AVID DNxHD is a good cross-platform quicktime codec...

  size of the file not officially 'lossless', but good quality and reasonable.

  Had a look but can't find a simple guide to what should be a request common now photographers like myslef are supposed to take laptop computers out on the road and burning/email/upload the best shots here and go back and work on all images to food later a cd etc.

  I have 3 LR running on my Mac Pro and Macbook Pro, my main work catalog is on the Mac Pro desktop, put updated since LR 1.4.

  Now, I have a few spots on my laptop where I took the best shots for emailing of location and want to bring back these shoots in my catalogue of principal office.

  I give each task a number of job X 1234, 1235 X, etc. and they are stored in folders on the hard drive of the laptop or desktop.

  What I've done in the past, it is to drag the flder to the desktop and then import the pictures in the folder newly moved.

  The best way for me would be to "Catalog import" in LR Office menu and then choose "copy pictures to a new location and import" in the dialog box?

  The catalog import is the way to go.

  One thing you can do is on the laptop, export as catalog. This creates a folder with all of your work and images (check the negatives). Hover over the whole file, then import them from the catalog.
