  I installed a new version of AMD Catalyst Software Suite V 12.2.00 08/03/11 and immediately pinned the problem of not being able to run the MWV Media Player files.  The media player will turn green and the audio works well.  I guess that my old (2008) Dell Studio 540 Intel Core Quad 2.66 Hz machine is too slow for all graphical applications included in the CCC again.  I uninstalled the entire update and installed the driver more AMD V 8.950.0.0.  Rebooted and tried to execute a file on Media Player WMV.  The same problem.  I went back to a restore point, until the day before the installation of the new version of the Suite software Catalyst.  Then I rolled back to the previous driver V 8.920.0.0.  Does not solve the problem.

  I finally ended up at this place where someone posted the same problem.  I went if the three methods that have been listed.
  Method 1: Go to the Play-year-audio or video file FAQ
  Result: Nothing useful there.

  Method 2: Re-save the file and check, it is that it works.
  Result: Panel received
  DllRegisterServer in successful wmvdecod.dll OK

  Method 3: Change screen Resolution.  My procedure was different from that used by anyone trying to help the first user.  I'm running Windows Vista 64 - bit SP2.  I had to go through the display settings, advanced settings.  Click on change settings and I received the message: your current display driver does not allow changes need to be made to hardware acceleration settings.  I then clicked on the Troubleshooting tab and received the following panel;  Catalyst Control Center cannot be started.  Currently, there are no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center.     No big surprise that I had uninstalled the CCC.  Should I reinstall again?

  Having listed all the codecs on my machine, I have no idea what to do with them.  The only one that seems to apply is WMVideo Decoder DMO.

  (1) is there an error message or an error code during playback of .wmv files?

  I suggest to disable audio enhancements and check if you're able to play .wmv files. Follow method 1 to disable audio enhancements.

  Method 1:

  a. Open Sound by clicking on the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel.

  (b) in the search box, type sound, and then click sound.

  c. on the playback tab, click speakers and then click Properties.

  d. click the enhancements tab, and then select turn off check all sound effects box.

  Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player with Windows features enable or disable:
  Step 1.
  Uninstalling Windows Media Player:
  (a) go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows has or not.
  (b) click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
  (c) access of media features and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
  (d) restart the computer
   
  Step 2.
  Reinstall Windows Media Player:
  (a) go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows has or not.
  (b) click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
  (c) access of media features and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.

  I know it sounds like a minor annoyance, but it is a problem with Acrobat 11 in my main image. QA sign on my image until this is resolved. When my users launch a pdf from their local machine for the first time Acrobat opens but the pdf file does not work. Just close Acrobat and clicking on the pdf file again resolves the problem. These seems to be just a first question. Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

  It is windows 7 x 64 with Adobe Acrobat Standard XI.

  Working with AA 11.0.0, or did you update? The updates may resolve the problem if they were not made, particularly on a 64-bit computer.

  Step 1: Before you start Windows Mail, copy the folder saved in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows mail storage folder.

  Saving files locally

  To save the files locally on your device:

  • Use iTunes to synchronize the file to your device.
  • Send an email with a PDF attachment to yourself and open it with Acrobat Reader.

  When you talk about 'temporarily' as record files in the temporary folder and then by restarting the machine will lose files. You can save the file in any location stored as reader or office and then reopen the case should show all of the content without any loss.

  If the files are deleted or lost there's no way to recover those, sorry if this is the case.

  I recently bought a store TV 500 GB here in South Africa.

  The device works perfectly on AV and HDMI, am very happy with it. Except some AVI files that I have that I can play on my PC/Laptop do not play on the TV via the HDMI or AV connection store?

  I guess that the AVI files do not match the specifications of the store? If I convert to MP4, what are the best settings, size, encoding format etc. should I use? I use a program called Handbbrake.

  There are of course not so many people with a lot of experiences about 500 GB StorE TV so I think that you have to experiment on your own.

  Try to convert these files in other formats supported to see how it will work.
  Of course, it will be nice if you can post comments to other users. All information can be useful to the forum community.

  I'm used to working in hearing CS6. Import an MP3 file and sound waves are all uneven, like an MP3 Player looks like naturally. When I opened the same hearing CC 2014 MP3 the MP3 seems to have been converted into something else because the sound waves are razor all the dishes. I don't want that. I want to edit an MP3 file. How can I configure my CC 2014 to edit the actual MP3s as my CS6? I don't want them automatically converted into something else before their change.

  No hearing version has never at all editing of MP3 files. He never did and never will. When you open one, it decodes into a wav file, because it is the native format of the hearing work, which is essentially not compressed. You may have thought you were editing an MP3, but in fact you were not. When it was saved, this would have been a re-encoded, new, MP3 which was inevitably of lower quality because the process to decode/encode.

  If you save your file with the same name as the original file, it will be completely replaced. If you do this enough times, the quality drops significantly; The MP3 is only a distribution format compressed, after all.

• First cases project works with the RED files

  First of all, I must say that I don't know if the RED files have something to do with the problem.

  I'm editing this project for about a day. I close the first CC and come back, and then all of a sudden all the thumbnails timeline on all of my sequences are distorted. When I try to play the audio plays very well and the playhead to scroll along like nothing is wrong. I get no video playback, however.

  Move the playback cursor to a different location on a timeline shows the good image in the preview area of the project, but only after several seconds (10-15). If I play a long enough sequence, the image in the preview window will change now and then - it's almost like it's having a hard time to process the images.

  The problem with it is I'm working on this project for a day with no reading problems at all. Suddenly all this stops.

  I started a new project and imported the project failing inside - sequences, images, everything. The new project has worked perfectly for a few hours... and then came back to the same problem.

  Someone has an idea what is happening? I'm a little worried since this edition (of course) is a super fast turnaround, and I can't work on it when he does this.

  Here's what those inclined or distorted thumbnails on timeline look like:

  I use a RED ROCKET card (just updated the firmware), and the film is about a Drobo playback via ethernet. The film plays in RedCine with no problems. I'm really confused on this one.

  I found a solution, even if it is questionable:

  I tried to reinstall Premiere Pro, once again, but this time using Adobe CC Cleaner. After reinstallation, my project is in working condition! I don't know what the problem was, that scares me, and the "Pr" icon on my taskbar now really just shows "blank document" icon instead. It feels like a time bomb, BUT at least it works now - in some respects better than before.

  Better than before: if ever, I made a change to the ripple on the edge of a clip before, I have to wait for PP to catch up with me--he would charge in-frame/out-frame preview that appears usually when you drag the edges of the clip. I pass so fast that I realize my edit, wait, see the overview of the framework on-board flash on and off the screen and then move on. After reinstalling, the overview of framework for edge seems to work how it was intended. Hooray!

  Fear, but relieved. At least for now.

• Muse not registering is not the .html files

  I'm working on a site of Muse and Muse is no longer to save newly added files .html on my hard drive.

  When the site updated (after a site-save, with new pages) is open, the new files do appear in outline view, design and preview, but when I use Microsoft search, these files do not appear anywhere on the disk. It's really strange. The files must exist, because they show when the site is open, but simply could not be found on disk.

  I first noticed this behavior when an update of the site via FTP failed to deliver the new files .html or css on the server.

  What is strange, however, is that if I "export to HTML", the appropriate files are created and registered, but only in the "Muse Export" folder - and not where elsewhere.

  I uninstalled Muse, restarted, then re-installed and the behaviour continues.

  I then tried to create a new empty site with only four pages, basic navigation text and a graphic on each page. Under "file, register the site" the operation seems to behave normally, but the new HTML and css files are no where. Again, when I exported the site in html format, the files are created and saved in the MuseExport folder.

  Question: Any thoughts?

  (I also noticed that "export as html" seems to overwrite a previous export even if the domain name that I entered is different. I predicted that the prompt for the domain name in the export process would result in an export of single site in the MuseExport folder. I note that you can change the backup location of the default MuseExport folder, but I was unaware of the potential of data loss until it was all over.)

  Two question: Is there documentation somewhere, other than videos, so I can understand what Muse done before I screw up?

  With regard to this point:

  When you create a new page in Muse, the file is kept in the Muse (YOURNAME.muse) program and will not be registered in a .html page until you export the site through the Manage / publication or file: export as HTML.

• Just installed CS6, but cannot associate the JPG file type with Photoshop.

  Earlier, I installed Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4. Types of PSD and TIFF files work fine, but I'm completely unable to associate the JPG, JPEG or any other variant with the Photoshop program, such that I can double-click on the photo file and open Photoshop and photography. I can associate JPG to bridge or Lightroom or other programs, but when I go to Photoshop, then select Photoshop.exe nothing happens, even not an error message. Does anyone have an idea what is happening here?

  Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit Edition. There is 4 GB of memory in the machine, which is a Dell Vostro 1720 laptop.

  I had the same problem. Initially could only associate JPEGs PS CS5, after removing the PS CS5 I still couldn't join the 6. Fixed after running the CCleaner registry cleaner.

• Get a preview of image files but not the other files

  In the Finder (or an alternative file manager) is there a way to show previews of image files, but not for the other files?

  With the image files, it will display a preview. With other types of file, a preview is useless and its best to see a standard icon indicating the file type.

  Any decent file on all Linux distributions browser lets you choose Preview vs standard icon based on case by case basis depending on the file type. I can't see how to proceed in the Finder (or the various alternatives as TotalFinder). How can I me Finder for this?

  The thumbnails, you mean? I don't think that there is a 'decent' solution for OS x. But then again, I don't know everything.
