• First elements monitor window broken after updates

  I recently installed Adobe several "updates" but am still under first elements v10 (on Win 7 64-bit).  Now the application refuses to update the monitor display window. Also, the display of the preview window seems to be broken. When the "reading" of the film, the timeline pointer moves and audio, but the video display is static.

  I can move the pointer of the timeline to a specific point and click in the monitor window and it will display a static image that reflects exactly the point in the timeline panel, but will not update with playback.  I can manually move the pointer of the chronology and the monitor display will be updated, but only within the same "clip" that the monitor has been activated in. Moving an adjacent clip or still picture and the screen does not refresh.  Does anyone have an idea what has broken or how to fix it?  Frustrating after many hours spent editing a feature film before the 'update '.

  What video/graphics card your computer use? If it's NVIDIA Ge Force and his version of the driver is up to date, it's your problem that cannot be resolved.

  What operating system is involved? Assuming that Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit for now.

  There is a known No Disc error associated with the elements first 13/13.1. The Adobe fix is the removal or disabling of the OldFilm.AEX file. Let us determine if this applies to your situation.

  The file OldFilm.AEX that you remove or disable renaming in OldFIlm.AEXOLD is located in the path of 64-bit Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 of

  and in NewBlue folder is the file OldFilm.AEX that you remove or disable renaming in OldFilm.AEXOLD.

  I have the first elements 9, which worked perfectly for years, who recently was to give me a box of pop-up message saying that the Intel Series 4 expresschipset display driver needs to be updated.  I went to the Intel site and run their tool of diagnosis of update and update this driver and vefified has been updated.  I restarted the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Prime - it still calls for the update and does not display any video, making it essentially useless.  Any suggestions?  I have only heaviely use the program about once, twice a year... I don't want to be forced to update simply because he behaves badly, please and thank you

  Yes, the BadDrivers.txt file is for Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 running under Windows 7 64-bit when you use the following specific instructions for what you have

  Local disk C

  Program data

  Adobe

  First Elements

  9.0

  and in the folder 9.0 is the BadDrivers.txt file that you delete. Be sure to have the folder Option show hidden files folders and active readers so that you can see the full quoted path. After you open a Premiere Elements project, the program will generate BadDrivers.txt file again and I hope your problem is gone.

  I get the following error when burning on DVD in first Elements 7.  It is not a massive file--it's about 10 minutes. Imported AVI files of digital camera that also takes videos from YouTube.

  It is about 60% and then falls.  Someone at - it ideas?

  Receive the error code in Adobe first Elements on my Studio 1735 trying to read the video capture.  Error is FFA-8-000 D; also says "failed to read.  The audio system does not appear to meet.  Maybe the card does not support full duplex mode.

  Any ideas or suggestions?  My sound card does not "full duplex"?  And if not, should I all options to update so it will be?

  I tried to install windows updates since the store won't let me update to 8.1 otherwise, but I've been miserably lacking 4 days in a row now. Commissioning Windows Update in Control Panel or the charm of parameters found 133 available updates and informs me that they will install automatically. If I then try to install progress remains at "downloading 0 KB", after a while updates are shown as installation. When the installation is completed I'm prompted to restart my pc. I tried this and it seemed to go well, but a strange point of interest that is so annoying is that several edits I checked are installing somehow, even if it is the only example that shows the number of updates being installed before restarting. Yet I always comes to the same conclusion. Failure of Windows updates the screen. What should I do?
