  Run the update to Camera Raw 6.6 for first 10 elements fails with the message:

  What gives?  How can I find what version of Camera Raw?

  Reinstalled first elements, used help, look for the updates.  Camera Raw 6.7 was installed by the update process.  That's how I discovered I'm good.

• Studio 1735 and Adobe first Elements - error CODEC Audio IDT high definition

  Receive the error code in Adobe first Elements on my Studio 1735 trying to read the video capture.  Error is FFA-8-000 D; also says "failed to read.  The audio system does not appear to meet.  Maybe the card does not support full duplex mode.

  Any ideas or suggestions?  My sound card does not "full duplex"?  And if not, should I all options to update so it will be?

• Video_TS folder missing after burning on a hard drive by using first elements 13

  I experienced some problems when you try to create a DVD from a film using first elements 13 project. After reading many past debates, I thought I had solved some, only to meet new problems. As follows:

  I was initially unable to burn a DVD from the film project, receives the message that burning DVDs has been "broken". This occurred during the encoding process that I believe, not in the real DVD writing, because it was early enough in the process. After reading the forums, I copied the project using the project archiver, to an external hard drive, since the internal drive was complete after subsequent attempts to burn (another problem). I moved all the video files off the internal drive to a backup, so there are currently 164 GB of free space. The project is on an external drive, as noted, with 1.42 free to. The size of the copied project folder is 100 GB. With the publication software + hand, I tried to burn to disk in a folder, in case there was a problem with the disc burner (conflicts w/3rd party software, etc., as stated in other discussions). The process still had to run at night, when checked, in the morning, there was a message that the burn has been completed. While they inspected the file where the Video_TS folder should have been (on the external hard drive), none were present. No where can I find the files. I then tried to burn on a DVD instead, but early in the process, got the message that the burn was "interrupted." again.

  As a side note, the adjustment disk feature that automatically compresses the video to the right size to fit in a 8.5 GB file or double layer DVD (which I use) repeatedly gave a message of low disk space. If I manually updated slightly higher compression, it would proceed with the burning. Strangely, after the Video_TS folder and the subsequent failed DVD burn, I tried another burn to DVD. In this case automatic compression does not result in the message of the lack of space and has helped with the burning to proceed, however, given the multitude of failures to date, I am not convinced that it will be successful.

  So my question is, what happened in the folder Video_TS should have been created (and a. According to the first to)? In addition, what is the problem and how to 'fix', or work around?

  First, go to the preferences (under Edit menu) and uncheck the hardware acceleration. This usually fixes this problem.

  Make sure that you save your files from the DVD to a folder on the directory in which there is no other files.

• Can I create a custom in first Elements 12 Menu?

  It's great that 12 elements has a way to automate the menus for a DVD, but so far I can't find one that I like.  Specifically, I want a background image to fill the entire screen, just like I do with a title.  My question should perhaps I can transform a title in a menu by adding markers?

  And a question is that I have to have a main menu and a menu selection of separate scenes?  I'm used to creating of menus (with Pinnacle) which allow a single menu screen and buttons that can be added (and the 'button' can be text or an image).

  Now I'm me forward, but if I have a menu scenes and someone selects a scene, at the end of the scene, it will just continue to play or go back to the menu scene?  It is an option in Pinnacle.  I'm jumping it is in first, as well, because once the scene is done I'd rather have it continue to play on as commercial DVDs would be if you skipped a scene in the middle of the movie to continue watching.

  All changes to the existing disc menus is either

  a. film area of customization of the Menu (Menu Tools/film)

  or

  b. for more advanced customization, at the level of the disc menu .psd file for the main menu and the file .psd for the scene menu.

  The titration module does not here.

  Many possibilities...

  • If you don't use a markers of the scene on the content of the timeline, you won't have a scene on a button in the main menu or scene selections pages.
  • If you use brands of main menu on the content of the Timeline and add enough buttons for the main menu, you can have a main menu of the page for access to films of chronology.
  • And so on.

  If you have scene markers placed on the Timeline for viewer start you with this scene in particular, by clicking on the corresponding button of the scene on a scene selection page will result in the scene as well as the rest of the timeline content reading at the end of the timeline and auto course then return to the main menu. Placement of stop markers is required Viewer to select a scene to the display and then be returned to the main menu after reading this scene in particular. About stop markers...

  Never put a stopper at the end of the last item in the timeline

• First elements 12 burn to RW disc does

  First elements 12 is able to use a DVD + RW?  Despite a setting of the DVD drive on the iMac to NOT play a DVD when inserted, when I insert a DVD + RW for the first burn a DVD the DVD player starts and the burn still fails.  I can never use written on a DVD + RW and you can do a burn to it but then any other attempt fails.  I used to use Pinnacle Studio on a Windows computer and I used disks RW several times until I got a version that I wanted for a final burn to a DVD + R.  I'm getting very frustrated with first of 12 elements running on an iMac.  I do not have know who to blame - Apple or Adobe.

  Your question is not a question of Premiere Elements exclusive to Mac, and I hope that the case goes to the interaction with the player from the computer and the DVD burner (AutoPlay).

  I'm strictly a Windows of the elements user. When I use Premiere Elements (any version) on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64 bit to burn to disc and use a DVD - RW which has been written for once, I get the message from the burning software requesting permission to replace the contents of the original disc. I need to click OK to continue. Have no other choice. But once I've done in a few seconds from the beginning, my CyberLink playback software that came with the burner open to try reading the content of the original disc. I need to rush to cancel to continue my Premiere Elements burn to.in command to come to a successful conclusion (what I do).

  1. with your YouTube problem, you still get the error message of Online Services? Or the error message that changed something else?

  a. go in Edit Menu/Preferences/Web sharing and do a Refresh of the service online if you have not already.

  b. If you are using a router for your computer, turn it off for 30 seconds and turn it back on.

  c. what browser do you use? If FIrefox, clear on the content of the Web Cache... Options, content, network, Cache Web Content.
