First Extension DW - Simple Add a table

Hi guys,.
Just for fun, I wanted to try to make my own Extension.

I found a tutorial and he succeeded then I would try to adapt the code to what I thought.

The only problem is its done in JavaScript and I'm only really familiar with VBs, although I can read OK syntax so probably my mistake?

The extension installs fine and when I try to add I get an error
Undetermined string literal

I think it can be that I need double quote the valuse in the HTML table that I want to insert, but I'm not totally sure?
Can anyone of you guys help out me on this...

Thanks again for any medium.

Thanks Buddyq, I should have marked this as resolved... Thank you
It was all down to my syntax and formatting...

  • Add several tables on a Page

    Hello

    I am building an application that handles (APEX 4.0) material inventory. I have an entry page that adds data to two or more tables at once. The page has two forms on it pointing to two separate tables. However when I try to run the page, it fails and returns an error:

    ORA-06550: line 1, column 437: PL/SQL: ORA-00904: "ORH_LAST_UPDATE_DATE": invalid identifier ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: statement ignored
    Error failed to process row in the IDD_ID_DATA table.

    As far as I can see in the application, this column is not in question (I don't even do anything for her and she is nullable). I looked at the application itself as well as some research online but can't find anything useful...

    So my question is this: is it possible to add several tables to a page? If yes how?

    I'm new to APEX so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    UPDATE:

    I received an email from support of APEX team:

    «The answer is simple, it's you will need manually code processes query (and DML) If you want to maintain multiple tables on a page (there is a limit of a table when you use the integrated process).»
    For this I suggest that you remove the process generated by the wizards and create processes of PL/SQL with insert, update, delete statements as needed. "This encoding is not difficult but takes much longer when you can use the integrated process.

    I've been playing with code PL/SQL and the final result is the following:

    Start
    INSERT INTO table1
    VALUES)
    : P2_Item_Field1,.
    (: P2_Item_Field2);

    INSERT INTO table2
    VALUES)
    : P2_Item_Field1,.
    (: P2_Item_Field2);
    end;

    I used this code in a PL/SQL custom in the treatment process > section to the Page processing and it seems to work fine now. The only downside to this method is that if the name of a Page element is changed the code will also have to be changed. Except that I had no problem.

  • Add a table row

    I have a standard html table and ice div and want my client to be able to add the table lines to enter new reported issues. When in edit mode, we can change the content in the existing lines, but don't seem to be able to add a new line. Suggestions?

    Morris

    Hello, Morris,.

    You can define the rows in the table repeat regions, which will make your table a recurring element of the group. This allows users to replicate the rows in the table and add new ones.

    It seems that the first thing you want to do is to remove the DIV wrapping the table in Dreamweaver. Then, place your cursor in a table cell (theitems from the line) and go to insert > InContext Editing > create editable region. Do this for each cell in the row that you want to be editable. After specifying the editable cells in your row of the table, select the table row)your table element) and go to insert > InContext Editing > create repeating region. This will allow publishers to duplicate the rows in the table and change the cells in the row you specify as editable.

    Take a look at the next section of Dreamweaver Help for more information about the repeated regions: html http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/10.0_Using/WS228F034D-1255-463f-BE80-D075F0BACF11.

    And please let me know if you need help with this.

    Best regards
    Corey

  • Cannot add another Table of Interface

    Hi all

    Recently, we had to restructure our e planning application to create another application.

    After creating my planning application, we now want to configure a data source in EPM System Configurator to add another table of Interface.

    After searching for some subjects like:

    - http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E12825_01/EPM.111/epm_architect/frameset.htm?ch03s02s01.html

    We cannot option Foundation-> Performance Management architect-> Interface of Configuration of data source that you can not see the next image.

    We have no Integrator ODI.

    Is it possible to add our table of interface in another way?

    When I choose my quick selection tool, I click and drag the first time, and he adds (my selection). BUT if I let go the mouse button and try to select it goes to Negative (-) and removes all the selections I made and not will not let me add again. I never had this problem before, you usually need to hold down the Alt (or Option MAC) to subtract from selections. No one knows what happened or how to fix this problem, maybe a setting I accidentally hit? Thanks for your suggestions! :))

  • Drag - move does not work on the first extension

    Hi all

    I'm a new user in Flex. And now, I am trying to create the first plugin.

    -the problem is that I use drag and drop to the desktop application event, works fine, when I debug it to first Extension, access the extension on the creation and the event does not properly.

    The error is Error #1034: Type coercion failed: cannot convert mx.events::DragEvent@7fff8465a19 in mx.events.DragEvent.

    The same two events and already worked in desktop application. Is this a bug or what Miss me?

    Thanks in advance

    Drag-n-drop works fine; See SDKPanel/src/ImportFilesDlg.mxml:handleFileDragStart ().

    I recommend starting a project Panel (based on SDKPanel), then pull in your office room by room application code.

    Use APEX_ITEM. BOX API in the definition of SQL query for the form of tables

    ID_CITY a VARCHAR2 is not a number.  Thus, although "less than ('10')" is correct for a VARCHAR2 ("equal or superior (10)"), where do you think the value '2' would go? '2' less than '10' is? Where would the '21' value?  Where would '56'?  Tip: '21' is less than '3' and 56 'is less than 6'.

    Also your first partition is defined as "less than ('1')", which makes no sense.

  • Computer account simple add to group

    Hey all,.

    I'm doing something very simple, or what should be simple.  I am trying simply to add a computer account to a group with vRA with vRO.  Sounds simple with this workflow, add computers to the group members.  However, I need to spend in the channels.

    I could get the converted channels (or thought) to correct complex data types.

    Ad:usergroup

    Table / AD:ComputerAD.

    The part of the computer account works fine with this code (stolen from here)

    var computer = ActiveDirectory.getComputerADRecursively (computerName);

    System.log ("count of the computer:"+ computers.length ");

    for each {(pc computer)

    System.log ("computer audit:" + pc.name);

    If (computerName.toLowerCase () is {pc.name.toLowerCase ()})

    System.log ("found computer:" + pc.name);

    return the pc;

    }

    }

    Found anything so throw exception:

    throw ' not found corresponding computer: "+ ComputerName;»

    I tried to do the same for the group with this code.

    userGroup var = ActiveDirectory.searchExactMatch ("UserGroup", userGroup_str, 1);

    System.log ("user control:" + userGroup).

    It fails.  When I click on the variable after the fact, I see the computers variable looks appropriate such that it has the DN, etc. etc.  When I go to the other variable, it doesn't look good.  When you use this code to add items (the account to the Group)

    userGroup.addElements (adServer);

    I get this error.

    15:08:26.669 15/05/21] [I] TypeError: cannot find the addElements function in the DynamicWrapper (Instance) subject: [AD_UserGroup]-[class ch.dunes.ad.object.UserGroup] - VALUE: usergroup rest the DN of the group is here...

    I'm not manipulating the table correctly, and I'm obviously not an expert.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    It really weird bcs API wrote it right, well well no worries, it must be resolved.

    Try to download and use workflows attached, that works for me and hope it helps you.

    If you have questions or others, feel free to ask.

  • Shouldn't be using WITH return the same results as if you would first put the results in a table?

    First of all, here is my version info:

    I just re-read the documentation of the subquery factoring clause of select again and I saw no restriction that applies.

    Can someone help me understand why I get different results?  I would like to be able to use the statement that creates spades3, but for some reason it does not work.  However, when I break up and store the last subquery TMP in a table (MAT1), I am able to get the expected results in MAT2.

    Sorry if the example seems a bit esoteric.  I tried to put something together to help illustrate another problem, so it was more convenient to use the same instructions to illustrate this problem.

    drop table mat1;

    Hello

    Khaled says:

    The problem is with

    -case when dbms_random.value * 5<>

    You can change this

    dbms_random. Value (1,100) * 5<>

    and test

    I don't know that I agree 100% with your police department, work there.

    dbms_random. Value, no arguments, returns a random number between 0 (inclusive) and 1 (exclusive), so

    dbms_random. Value * 5< 4 ="" will="" be="" true="" about="" 80%="" of="" the="">

    dbms_randon. Value (1, 100) returns a random number between 1 (included) and 100 (exclusive), so

    dbms_random. Value (1, 100) * 5< 4="" will="" be="" true="" exactly="" 0%="" of="" the="" time,="" which="" is="" not="" what="" op="" wants="" at="">

    The problem here apparently revolves around the optimizer not really call dbms_random over and over again in sku_dates of the subquery.  Add ROWNUM in the subquery seems to force Oracle to assess dbms_random.value immediately.  I don't really understand myself, but adding 1 element in the SELECT of the sku_dates subquery clause could solve the problem:

    create table spades3 as

    with references like)

    Select the level as sku_id

    of the double

    connect by level<=>

    ),

    tran_dates like)

    Select the level + to_date ('20130731', 'YYYYMMDD') as tran_date

    of the double

    connect by level<=>

    ),

    sku_dates like)

    Select s.sku_id,

    t.tran_date,

    -case when dbms_random.value * 5<>

    then 0

    1 other

    end as has_changes,

    Round (dbms_random.value * 10000, 2) as unit_cost

    ROWNUM AS r-<=== new="" column="" added="" here="" new="" column="" added="">

    s SKUs

    inner join tran_dates t

    1 = 1

    ),

    tmp as)

    Select d.sku_id,

    d.tran_date,

    d.unit_cost

    of sku_dates d

    where d.has_changes = 1

    )

    Select m.sku_id,

    m.tran_date,

    m.unit_cost,

    min (m.tran_date) over (partition by order of m.sku_id by m.tran_date rows between 1 next and 1 suite) as next_tran_date

    of tmp m

    ;

    You do not have to refer to this column anywhere; just having him in the subquery is enough.

    If someone can't understand why, I know it.

  • Add a table with the number of lines and columns JS

    Hello

    Simple question: what is the syntax for adding a table with a specified number of rows and columns? I don't get it. (I don't know how to add them later, but I want to do when I create the table). Here is the entry in the ESTK:

    Tables.Add (to: LocationOptions, reference: all, withProperties: Object): array

    Creates a new table.

    (optional): Data Type: LocationOptions, by default: LocationOptions.UNKNOWN
    The location of the new table to the object within the container object or reference. (Optional)

    Reference: Data Type: no
    The reference object. Note: Required when the value specifies before or after. Can accept: Table, XmlStory, XMLElement, TextFrame, text, character, Word, line, paragraph, TextColumn, PointInsertion, story, cell or TextStyleRange. (Optional)

    withProperties: Data Type: object
    Initial values for the properties of the new Table (optional)

    Thank you

    Ariel

    After much experimentation, I found this works:

    t = app.selection [0].tables.add (LocationOptions.AT_BEGINNING, undefined, {columnCount:2, headerRowCount:1, bodyRowCount:5, footerRowCount:3});})
