  I am running OSX Mavericks and have sequences video avchd import into my project.  He went all out.  I am an intermediary file and tried to prores and dnxhd formats.  When I created a new project and tried to import a format I get the above error.  In addition, when you try to read the prores file with quicktime it won't play.  I have a Windows virtual machine with an earlier version of the first pro that has the neat video.  I created the file dnxhd on it and was able to import the file into PP on mac and the processing of these int h.264 movies.  What do you think of the error not be able to import a format on my mac?  Could there be an error on the export into media encoder?

  It seems that I solved my problem and I wanted to post the resolution.  Apparently, the Avid codecs play nice with Quicktime on Mac and make Adobe QT32 Server crash.  Even if a file has been made, with server QT32 crashing it was unreadable.  The first thing I did was to delete all codecs in MacHD/library/Quicktime.  I restarted my computer.  Then I added the Apple codecs.  Voila, I can now encode to the Prores format.  I tried to add the dn only Avid codec, and I had the same problem.  I tried the version 2.3.7 and 2.3.9 without success.  Looks like I'm not 'be able to encode DNXHD files and read my existing will require adding the codec, export to the quicktime-no format and then delete for any future encoding prores codec.  If anyone has a solution to make the Avid DNXHD codec work please let me know.

  I'm trying to deploy templates for Adobe Premiere pro after the installation package created with Creative cloud Packer (company training license agreement, no problem with the installation of Premiere Pro)

  so I downloaded the model as seen here

  and extracts them so I got the PremierePro_6_Content_LS7 file with two subfolder CS6 functional content of Adobe Encore and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 functional content.

  each of them containing a set - up.exe

  My question is how to install these models in silence? I tried a number of things (set - up.exe / s; /silent...etc - S) without success.

  Should I use AAME to create a silent install?

  or can I install it manually and copy the new files and folders in c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (installation folder by default, even if I only installed with Adobe first Pro CC create a folder cs6)

  Or is there a switch command line that I could use to install silently and accept the license?

  Thanks for any help/suggestions/advice/ideas.

  To create the Package of first pro CS6 you use AAMEE 3.1. If you have the serial number of Premiere Pro CS6, then you can create a package serialized by also creating a trial Package, but it will work for 30 days only.

  Once the package is created, please use this command

  msiexec /i "NomPackage.msi" / SB

  I installed the Office of creative cloud App on my laptop Lenovo Windows 7. I then installed the Adobe Pro first, CS6 for trial.

  Installation is complete without reporting any error. But there is no shortcut to start the application.

  When I checked the size of the installation appears only as 35.7 MB. This doesn't seem fair.

  In the window of creative cloud the first Pro CS6 is "up-to-date" shown against it, but no option to launch.

  I tried to read on the forums and the internet for the solution but have not found.

  Please advise on how to fix.

  That is right.

  First pro cs4 is the latest version which can be used with a 32-bit operating system.

  I just bought a creative cloud membership - and was very happy to start... However, I'm just learning that I can't open my first items in Premiere Pro projects - because I use a Mac.  Anyone has any suggestions for the BEST way for me to be able to work on my elements existing projects in Pro? I'm assuming I need to export the draft elements in formats .mov or .mpeg, etc. and then import them like that.  Of course I'll only be able to change the 'finished' - and not undo/redo effects/transitions/etc...  If I'm on the right track, can someone let me know the best export settings to use?

  ALSO - I had been using the organizer of items for all of my clips/video, etc. - I'm going to assume that Premiere Pro do not interface with that?

  Sorry, but you cannot open your PRE project in Premiere Pro on MAC, ironically, there is no workaround available for this. Premiere Pro does not interfere with your organizer however.

  Instead of trigger ExtendScript some system based on external data, you can put the buttons in a panel of HTML5 (JavaScript based) for convenience of the user.

  Yesterday, I received the EOS camera 700 d and when I tried to install the EOS Solution Disk nothing happened. Nothing seems to happen when I click on the install icon. This happened to someone?

  Same problem, same camera - t5i.  On a MacBook Pro running OS 10.9 mavericks.

  I have the version of the software 28.0

  I fixed it by creating a different user (with administrator privileges), and with this user, I could install the software and will then go to my normal user who then had the software installed.

  A little inconvenience and had to do some internet research on other forums to find it, but it works.  I hope that canon will solve the problem for others.

  Restart the computer and hold down the shift + alt button until the home screen or

  Do new project and import the a 'old' in this new.
