  I have problem with PrPro CS5 HUUUGE.

  Glad to hear! I suspect that it's probably not the medium itself, but the cache files that are created as a result of the importation of the media. If you remove all of the PEK, CFA and all other cache files that are associated with the media while your project is closed, and then reopen the project and leave the files in cache, you might be OK. The media cache files and database can flake, apparently at random and cause problems like the ones you describe.

  1. do you have the preview pane enabled in file Explorer? If so, you can temporarily disable it to see if the problem goes away? On Windows 8, in Explorer, go to the view tab, and if you press the button "Preview Pane", UN-press it. On Windows 7, upwards to the right (to the left of the help icon) there is a button "show preview pane." UN-press it.

  2. ensure that the following directories exist on your machine. If this isn't the case, please create them:

  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\ToolsSearchCacheAcro

  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\ToolsSearchCacheRdr

  Replace USERNAME with your username.

  Versions must be the same to make it work.  You will have to perhaps put the original clip in AE and when you're done, export off AE file for use in PP.

(I do, because the videos remain the same, I just write different things in them.) When I change the keyframes in the copied sequence, the way that I need them out there and then come back to the original clip, keyframes it changed as well. This isn't what I wanted.

  So my question is: How can I make a copy of a sequence and then work on it without changing the original at the same time? Why are they related in any way? What's a selection in my version of Premiere Pro or is it a general thing?

  When you open your title for editing, press the new title based on the current title in the title Editor button; It's one that looks like the film with the "T" in it. This will create a new title in the sandbox, but will not replace the current instance of the title.   Use the Bluray H.264 preset for BluRay. For DVD use mpeg2 dvd preset and fields is higher.
