  Could someone pleasetell me if the ability to install / use third-party plug-ins(i.e.: New Blue & Pixelan effects) transition has been disabled for thetrial first Pro CS5, I tried installing them but have beenunsuccessful doing so it would be nice to see how they behavein CS5 before you go ahead and buy the full version only to find I have Pascal liked to use them (I'm currently on CS3).

  If you find that is NOT the issue and these effects/Transitions ARE 64-bit, please let us know. As I said, I'm not aware of ANY other restrictions on the trial, but must admit that I never used any trial from Adobe.

• Launch of first Pro 6 Trial version

  Hello - I have downloaded the trial version of the first Pro 6 using the Adobe Download Manager, and I got the full message of the installation, it will display in my Add/Remove Programs, I also received an email from Adobe acknowleging my download, but it does not appear in my programs all - I can't find where to start the program.

  I also downloaded the trial version of Photoshop 6 to test my Adobe Download Manager and it works fine, no problems at all.

  I tried to uninstall and re - run the exe file that I see - but still nothing. What I'm missing or what does not work properly?

  You can do two things,

  Restart the computer and hold down the shift + alt button until the home screen or

  Do new project and import the a 'old' in this new.

  I'm using the first Pro CC (mac) version. I have a project where I need to clear out unused files to make room.

  In the documentation, I often see references to Project menu header but I don't have it.

  Similarly, in the project window, I don't see for video or audio usage columns that are shown.

  Any suggestions (I feel that I have forgotten something obvious)? Thank you.

  If you use first Pro CC (7.0), and then the option to remove unused is under the Edit menu. In the project Panel, if you are in the display of the icon, then files will show the icon of video and/or audio, storm in the thumbnail of the file. If you have preview enabled (in the menu on the right wing) area and select a file, then it will also list how many times the file is used.

• My edited icon does not replace the previous version on the desktop

  I use CVI 7.0 on Windows XP. I used CVI icon editor to create an icon 32 x 32 for my application. The target parameters build cutting edge of window to file icon and displays correctly. I also created a group of files in the window of Distribution Kit and the group contains only the .exe with the option to create shortcuts on the desktop. I build dist kit and install it, him and everything is fine. The icon appears on the desktop and launches the application.

  The problem is when I change the icon file. The modified version appears in the settings of the target (great so far), but when I have the dist of rebuilding kit and install it, the old desktop icon is not replaced by the new although the old icon still launches the latest version of the app. I have not changed the GUID between generations, so running setup.exe kit dist first deletes the previous version of the application and its icon on the desktop. The second round of setup.exe installs the new version of app but the old icon.

  If I change the name of the icon file every time then the correct icon appears on the desktop. However I prefer to use a generic icon for each version file name. It of like CVI or Windows associates the first version of an app icon and remembers that the association is updated using a different icon file name.

  So the question is, how can I make sure that the latest version of the icon appears on the desktop do not have to change the file name each time?

  I got a solution to nickb. This can be found at http://decibel.ni.com/content/message/8480#8480. I'm new to these forums, so I don't know why it seems to be in a different for your response area, unless somehow I posted the original question in two areas. In any case, in case there is something wrong with the link, the solution is to delete the cvibuild. Directory and then recompile the project. I found more than remove the resources.res file was sufficient. As I said to nickb, it would be good if CVI deleted this directory automatically to ensure a clean build each time.

• Constant crashing while rendering in first Pro CC

  Trying to export a video of this sequence, first Pro CC (latest version) crashes every time after about 1-2 minutes of rendering.

  Project first to find system SSD (recent model Macbook Pro retina), with source on the USB3 HARD disk files and cache the value external thunderbolt external SSD. Have you tried to target all the readers, the same questions. Tried to flatten all the blocking, same problem sequences.

  No special plugins or anything, just the baked in used effects and settings.

  
  Have tried to make h.264 and ProRes, both have the same error.

  Aiming for a version of this project in the next few days, please help if you can! Thank you very much!!

  

  After trying many things, I ended up finding two problems:

  1. a CC image file didn't like, that I removed

  2 another error, unknown, but I've made the entire sequence in the first (pressing enter) and then exported to a file once it has been fully rendered and used the option 'use previews' for export.

  Very strange but so far it has worked.

• No visible video in the source or program windows - first Pro CC 2014 8.2.0

  I've just updated for first Pro CC 2014 version 8.2.0, and now no matter what I try, no video is visible in the source or program window.  I used 8.0.0 with no problems (at least not this one), but was forced to update to open the calendar of a customer.  I was having exactly the same problem with the update 8.1 a few months ago and has been forced to downgrade to 8.0.0 to see my video.

  It doesn't matter what is the codec, or if it is an image file, bars and tone or a title rendered in first.  Nothing.  If I play or rub I hear audio, video, not at all.

  It really blows that a project saved to 8.2 will not be open to 8.0.  They are the two Premiere Pro CC 2014.

  Looks like it has something to do with my video card, because when I resize the Windows I'm presented with a bunch of flight of the vertical blue lines.

  I'm on a 2012 bicoeur Mac Pro with OS 10.9.5, ATI Radeon HD 5870 video card stock.

  I looked first preferences to see if there is some kind of active Accelerator GPU or something, but I don't see anything like that.  Anywhere else that I can look at?

  It is a big problem.  I pay $50 / month for this?

  Okay, I found the problem.  My project settings had failed in the Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU (Open CL).  I guess that ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB card is not compatible with this, so go to the option of read only software resolved the problem.
