Fixed color background and image in CS5 width

In CS5.5, when I go to File→New→Blank Page→One fixed column centered, I can't find any way of inserting a background color or a background image behind the text box, which is what I consider the page, since it is that visitors will look at. In fact, it might be all they see if their browser is not expanded. If I go on the page properties and add a background color or image, it appears only outside the text box. It is not visible when the browser window is not maximized. I want the color of the background, or is actually viewing image behind the visitors of the region, that is, I want it behind the text. Thanks in advance for your help.

    In Illustrator: Is it possible to apply the model to an object without applying the model as a background?

    I want to put a pattern with a transparent background on color background.

    I think it's possible to do so without adding the template to a new object in one layer on top of the other.

    In Styles predefined in Illustrator, there are a couple of styles with patterns. In those that the model is not applied as a backdrop, the backroung is defined as yellow in one of the styles and the model is applied in a different way. My question is where it is applied when it is not applied as the background.

  • How to get the background image to fill the browser and stay fixed in IE and Firefox?

    Basically what it says in the title. I came very close to achieve, but something comes to Moor in the html and css code...

    First of all, I use the latest version of Firefox and IE8 to test this situation.

    I used 2 sources of information to get this done: 1) http://css-tricks.com/perfect-full-page-background-image/ and ) 2 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8958697/css3-background-size-cover-doesn ' t-make-image-co-ver-vertical

    In 1 case , the example of the called page CSS-Only Technique #1 gives the code that works almost perfectly for me, except that obviously I need to a background image, but the CSS provided ago obviously just for an image has fallen in the body of a page without taking account of any other content that may already be there. "The html code that I put on the page is simply < img class ="bg"src ="... / pictures/background_image.jpg "> "

    Of course, I used the CSS code in the example, less the last piece which is "@media screen" etc., which seems irrelevant to me. Of course by replacing the values according to the picture on my page.

    So what happened was that it worked almost as expected in both browsers (which means the image filled both browsers first as it should and also remained fixed when I zoomed in, inside or outside, in each case), except that the picture went on top of the current content that I already there precisely because there isn't a background in this 'technical '. (A note on the side of curious, is that the image didn't turn down content, I expected under normal circumstances, but he went right on top of it so she she hidden (like the z-index).)

    One thing that bothers me in this regard 'technical' is that if you click on view the demo just below the code provided, you will see on the example of work page (bottom of the forest), the image clearly works as a backdrop and the content is fortunately located on top! So I don't know if the person who provides the example was trying to deceive people or what! Or he got lazy and showed another page which did not use the exact code, he has provided. No matter.

    In any case this leaves me with only half-completed work, because I still need a background image that functions as the 'normal image' code provided.

    In 2 cases and on this page, the first example provided gives the CSS for clutter - namely the code in the html {...} part and shows also the same "normal image" code as shown in box 1. In this case however, that the person provide a suggestion, the html and the css is not really properly more Moor some css and html seems a little redundant. So this time, when I used the part "html" in the CSS code (i.e. just the bit that was no longer relevant), I had two different behaviors in each browser and neither of which was quite what I'm looking for. In IE8, initially the page seems well (background fills the page and the content is on top) but when I Zoom in or out the background also zooms in or out accordingly so is NOT fixed. In Firefox, the background image stays fixed, but because the image is initially not the height of the browser I guess the code it extends down (keeping the proportions - so the image enlarges essentially) to fill it. The fast way to get around it is probably add white space at the bottom of the image just to give it sufficient height is not extensible / resize automatically. But it would be nice to know at least how to work around this problem in the code. Overall, I would say that the result in Firefox is closest to the desired solution, but of course it is not arranged things with IE8.

    Apologies for the long description, but which should at least provide much info for anyone who might have a possible solution for me. Essentially what would be great is if someone could advise me how to take the code of case 1 and apply it to a piece of 'background' coding as the type that is contained in html {...} in Case 2 . Like I said, it is almost there, but I just can't operate atm after trying to combine different bits of code this way and that... Also, if anyone has another version of html-css that works well to achieve then please by all means of let me know! V thanks a lot in advance!

    It works in modern browsers of the CSS3 support.  But not pre - IE9.

    Hi Donnas,.

    Content-aware fill is your best friend in this case.

    Just make a selection around the word and go to edit-> Fill-> Content-Aware.

    This usually done a very good job.

    Then you can either return to it several times (maybe in smaller sections) with Content-Aware fill to clean it, or you can play with the Spot Healing Brush tool (J) or the tool clone stamp (s).

  • is it possible to change the color of the text background and foreground?

    is it possible to change the background and foreground color of the text on a simple two-color with Photoshop 6.0 jpg image?

    Yes, but given that the jpg file is flattened, you would have to make a selection of the text - the magic wand tool could work to do this, without seeing what you are working on. Then simply use fill to fill in desired fg or bg color.

  • Color adjustment and the overlay to a placed image (this is a grayscale image)

    So I will try to set the color of an image I placed a color point, then set it to overprint the fill.

    I created a rectangle and adds these attributes. But I can't seam to get the same thing to work for a picture (gray scale).

    Here are some of my code:

    #target illustrator-19

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    var sel = doc.selection;

    var aiDocWidth = doc.width;
    var iPath = sel[0].file.path + "/";//Name;
    var origImage = sel[0].file;
    var origImageFile = File(origImage);

      if(origImageFile.copy(decodeURI (iPath) + "/W_" + origImageFile.name)){
                    //iFile[0].remove();
                    };
    var wImageFile = File(iPath+ "/W_" + origImageFile.name);

    var psScript  = 'app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO;';
            psScript += 'app.open(' + wImageFile.toSource() + ');';
            psScript += 'app.activeDocument.changeMode(ChangeMode.GRAYSCALE);';
            psScript += 'app.activeDocument.activeLayer.invert();';
            psScript += 'app.activeDocument.close( SaveOptions.SAVECHANGES );';
            psScript += 'app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.ALL;';

    btMessaging('photoshop',psScript);

    placeImage(wImageFile,origImage,sel[0]);

    function btMessaging( targetApp, script ) {
              var bt = new BridgeTalk();
              bt.target = targetApp;
              bt.body = script;
              bt.onResult = function( inBT ) { alert( 'Done…' ) };
              bt.onError = function( inBT ) { alert( 'OOPS! something went wrong! :(' ) };
              bt.send( 20 );
    };

    function placeImage(fName,origImage,sel){

                var aDoc = app.activeDocument;

                var aLayer = aDoc.activeLayer;

                    var floodWhiteCMYK = new CMYKColor;
                    floodWhiteCMYK.magenta = 100;

                        //White Color object
                    var floodWhiteSPOT = aDoc.spots.add();
                    floodWhiteSPOT.name = "WhiteSpot";
                    floodWhiteSPOT.color = floodWhiteCMYK;
                    floodWhiteSPOT.colorType = ColorModel.SPOT;
                        //create instance of this object
                    var floodWhiteColorSPOT = new SpotColor();
                    floodWhiteColorSPOT.spot = floodWhiteSPOT;

               var pImage = aLayer.placedItems.add (origImage.top,origImage.left);
                pImage.file = fName;
                pImage.name = "WhiteImage";
                pImage.selected = true;
                pImage.fillColor = floodWhiteColorSPOT;
                pImage.fillOverprint = true;

                var origI = sel;
                var x = origI.position[0] + (origI.width / 2);
                var y = origI.position[1] - (origI.height / 2);

                // move image
                pImage.position = [x - (pImage.width / 2),y + (pImage.height / 2)];
           };

    PlacedItems don't colorize of property or methods, overprint property too.

    However, we can define the color by Colorize method together with overprint property after converted to the use of embedded rasterItems method.

    Here is a small code example:

    var clr= new CMYKColor;
    clr.cyan = 50;
    clr.magenta = 50;
    clr.yellow = 0;
    clr.black = 0;

    app.selection[0].embed(); //selection[0] must be placedItem
    app.selection[0].rasterItems[0].overprint = true;
    app.selection[0].rasterItems[0].colorize(clr);

    These entries should still be there if you right click on an image or an area with a background image.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

He is generally meant to be a white background and the image that appears at the top left. I don't remember what I did to change this if it's my fault; If anyone knows how to get back to it, I would be grateful.

    This is the new behavior in Firefox 11.

    If this does not work ty settings > General > accessibility > zoom > on. Triple, tap the screen with three fingers. Tap choose filter. Click None. Triple, tap the screen to get rid of the menu zoom. If you have enabled greyscale in zoom you can disable it in zoom.

    Windows does not allow you this. However, you might be able to find a
    third party program that could do this.

  • To get the background and foreground color of the screen title

    Currently the title screen background color is black, and foreground color is white.

    But when we use custom theme then it can have different background and foreground colors.

    That's why I need to pick up the color of the screen title properties.

    How can I achieve this?

    Thank you

    I think you want to color your application according to the background and foreground color! Override the paint of the main method and use instance graphics for call getColor () and getBackgroundColor ()... Save it to integer variables and use it anywhere where you need...
