  Hello! In the middle of printing, I met a paper jam on my printer HP 4480 (4400 series). The HP Solution Center window automatically appeared and led me through how to clear. I removed the paper stuck, turned the unit back on again once, however a new print request doesn't have to print the next page. Windows XP window, printer says jam paper with the refreshing Word flashing. The HP Solution Center says transport error, but has no other suggestions. Any help will be appreciated.

  Thanks for your suggestion. I was trying somethings myself yesterday. Just after my initial post I have someone else saw posting some troubleshooting tips. I watched them and their suggestion was to download HP Print and Scan doctor. I did, and this utility did not find anything wrong. There was no paper or the other. The doctor's suggestion was to try one for automatic printing. To Auto print successfully, which means I got a page to print. On this, I cancelled the print out via Windows task and tried another page of printing. He worked and very well since.

• LaserJet 6 L shows ready but will not print from computer

  My LaserJet 6 L works fine, but just today he's leaving the impression.  Green ready light is lit, but sign says 'paper.'  There is paper in and it will print the test page for each slot.  Cannot print spreadsheet, word processing, or WordPad, PC running Windows XP.  A second printer (HP Deskjet 4215) prints fine - USB connection.  How to test to see if my printer cable does not?

  1. turn off your printer
  2. Click Start, type services.msc in the search field (or use run if you run older Windows)
  3. open services.msc
  4. find the print spooler service, right-click, and select stop.
  5. close the service windows and use Windows Explorer to go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS.
  6 remove the files in the files in this folder - here's your stuck jobs.
  7 restart your computer.
  8 turn on your printer.

  I would like to help you today with the relocation of your HP Photosmart Premium of C309g all-in-One printer on your Windows Vista-based computer. Can I please you follow the steps below.

  Please disconnect the USB cable from your printer or computer, is easier.

  Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

  It is crucial for the repairs we have a clean slate to work with. So, I'm going you have to make sure all traces of your printer is uninstalled from your computer before install us a new copy of your Photosmart.

  1. Click on the Start menu
  2. Select all programs
  3. Select the HP folder
  4. Select your Camera HP Photosmart
  5. Select Uninstall

  Please follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation. Once your HP Photosmart camera has been uninstalled, proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Remove temporary files:

  1. Click on the Start menu
  2. In the box "search programs and files" located just above to start after you click on it, type %temp% , and then press enter on your keyboard
  3. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.
  4. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
  5. Close the Temp folder when it is empty
  6. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

  Step 3: Reinstall the device:

  1. Please click here to download the package full feature software and driver for your printer
  2. Once the site opens click on the download button
  3. Once the download is complete, you can get a command prompt to run the installation program. If you see this, select run
  4. An extraction will occur automatically and your installation will launch
  5. Please follow the steps on the screen to reinstall your printer
  6. If you use a USB cable connection, do not connect the USB cable until the installation program invites you to

  Once installation is complete, please try to print to see if the problem is now resolved.

  I have an old all in a 1200 Series printer that I have attached to my new laptop, Microsoft Pro 3 Surface.  It was working OK, but now I have a message of paper jam that will not disappear.  What can I do?

  Thank you very much help to return so soon!  What I did to restore my computer to an earlier time, and it worked!  The printer works and now is not an error of "Paper Jam."  Thanks again.

  Recently upgraded to SSD as boot drive.  everything is working except cannot print from Word, WP or any application (Editor, etc.).  Can print test pages to control panel on each installed printer, and do not appear.  Try to print from Word he pauses and says "cannot find the printer."  Tried reinstalling Word without solving the problem.  I don't know that the problem is Windows 7 related, not printer hardware problem.  Several times reinstalled printer that also does not resolve the issue.  Any ideas?  Anyone?  Anyone?

  What is the format of your final work? How are you viewing? What version of Illustrator do you use?

  Here are some common reasons why your type might be missing - is your type completely on the artboard and bleed?

  Is your type on a layer that is set up to print not? Is your white type and position it to overprint?

  Probably caused by a Bug in Firefox, which is supposed to be fixed in versions of Firefox 4.0. Until Firefox 4 is out, my suggestion is to use the preview before printing and if the preview is empty use Safari to print this page. This extension will allow you to click right into Firefox and open the same page in Safari, so you don't have to copy' only paste the URL.

  Additional info: when I hit print paper out, but most of the time does nothing about it, but sometimes a fraction of the page prints even if the setting is to print the entire document.

• Cannot print from Photoshop CS6

  I am on an Intel Mac running OSX 10.8.4 and Photoshop stopped my Brother HL-5050 laser printer. No error message, no dialog, it prints just a blank sheet of paper. I can print from Acrobat, Pages, Word and Illustrator, but not of PS I tried the usual suspects-trashed prefs, rebooted, replaced the drivers of Brother printer, but nothing works.

  However, if I switch to a different connection ID, I can print normally. Which, I suppose, means that there is a combination of parts and condition in my user preferences that are the cause of the problem, then, what are my options? What is the easiest way to work around this problem?

  Wait, have you tried just clearing your Photoshop preferences? If you haven't I'd first since it is easier:

  If that does not print, I would like to confirm that a new Admin user account allows you to print:

  If that allows you to print, you can try to fix the permissions, but as I note in the above link, it is not always a bulletproof way to correct the permissions. You need to just bite the bullet and create a new user account if repair permissions is not correct it.

I often reset the printer "EVERY TIME" I want to use. I also tried to turn off my laptop and printer several times before printing. If I'm lucky, it will work maybe for one or two prints. If no luck then I have to reset everything again. Sometimes I reset the printer, the printer is not displayed on my selection.
