FLAG 23: KEYBOARD

I GIVE UP. 6 HOURS IS MY LIMIT OF PATIENCE. DONE AND DONE AGAIN. Very is perhaps an EASY question, but for me is impossible. Here it goes.

My HP desktop has 2 accounts: Atlas, Ramona, and Sorin. Admin is Sorin and the rest is us.

Ramona and Atlas keyboard works (I can type and so on...). I can type my password on admin account SORIN, but then when my office is open I can't type; no engine or web site search nada.

    Hello

I've just updated to 2015 and recently noticed CC and problem when you try to flag/delete images in the library and other modules.

    When you use the tilda;

If the image is marked, LR will appear to apply a flag to the image

If the image is Unflagged, LR will appear to delete the image

Using the mouse to flag/remove the indicator works as you want, however, if you move your mouse immediately after the flag icon toggle without going out of the miniature, the status of the incorrect indicator is called.

    -Yes, I rebooted.

    I am referring to a PC-based environment.

It seems that it is related to keyboard settings - for a reason that I used the USA - international.

I changed it to US and restarted, everything seems fine.

  • Switch between keyboard languages 3 (or more)

I have three languages: language A, language B, C language

I'm on A language and to switch to the C language.

Heat the shortcut keyboard CMD + space twice to change the language. It's change of a language.

I have heat twice again and it works properly.

    Hi, ale.schmidt!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I see that when you clear a flag to a message in Mail, they always appear in the box to the Flagged letters. I use the mail every day, so I know how it is important to be able to manage your messages, and I'd be happy to help you!

The first thing I would say is to leave the Mail app following the instructions here: OS X El Capitan: Quit apps

Once you have left the Mail app, press in and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard. While now Shift click the Mail icon to open the application again. Check if the messages in question were removed from the mailbox Flagged.

If you still see the messages there, try restarting your Mac by clicking on the menu  Apple in the upper left corner of your screen and selecting restart... from the menu drop down. Once the computer is back on, check if the messages are always under the Flagged mailbox.

You can then start the computer in safe mode if the messages are always listed under Flagged. The following article will guide you through a startup in safe mode: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up

Although the title of this article does not exactly your question, it is always a good step to take. Safe mode works certain system checks during the startup process, and disables some software that may be causing a conflict. Once you have started in safe mode, check if the messages are always listed under Flagged.

    See you soon!

  • Cannot switch the language layout with wireless keyboard

I do a sort of a media center for my mac mini. So far, everything is great, except for one very annoying thing. I bought this wireless keyboard and it's working great, although there is a problem with the layout language switch. When I change the input language - it is off, according to the change of language icon, if a text input is always in English. I'm quite confused and don't know if it's related to the keyboard itself or it's a question of OS (same behavior was on yosemite, before I've upgraded to el capitan)

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you talking about the little flag in the menu bar? This has nothing to do with the language itself, it has to do with keyboard layouts. Any reason you need to switch the layouts?

If you want to change the language of the menus and other system, then you must go to

System-> region and language preferences, then change the order of the languages.

  • How to compose utf-8 characters from the keyboard (osx 10.11.4)?

    Hello

In any other non-named operating system, you can press ALT-E28099 enter a utf character.

I've seen instructions on how to do this in an earlier version of Mac OS x, but these instructions do not work.

They tell me in system preferences | Language and text-> then a way to select UTF, but this possibility is therefore more in the new language and region settings.

When I go to my little flag in the menu box above right, I am not shown UTF - 8 as a possibility.

    Help!

    Thank you!!!

OS X does not use utf - 8 for entry.  Normally, you would use the character Viewer (Edit > Emoji and symbols) for the input characters that are not already included in the layout of the keyboard via the option and option more shift.  It has an option to display all Unicode characters.

If you really want to enter special characters through numbers, you can go to the sources of the system/preferences/keyboard and activate the Unicode Hex keyboard configuration.  You can integrate any character by holding down the option key and typing sound 4-digit (or 8 digits for those outside the BMP) hexadecimal Unicode number.  e28099 is 2019 in hexadecimal.  It's the curly apostrophe which can also be made directly from the US keyboard via the shift option]

  • Some keys on the keyboard does work not after the suspect virus on Tecra

Apostrophe, delete, semicolon and the end of the keys no longer work after a suspected virus attack. I found the same problem on the net record but apparently this guy fixes his problem after stop scroll or NumLock on found him.

This isn't the case here, but it's something with numlock - registry Watch 2 and not 0. switch to 0 but when reboot 2 times.
Suspect has changed through the bios. I thought that I couldn't get to the bios because DEL key does not but found ESC works.
Tried to reset the values default to the bios but then can't save and exit it in accordance with the EndKey to work.

I was running XP at the time of the (alleged) attack and could not correct the problem so to put the computer OEM as I hoped would help - there no, same problem, so instead of installing all the software on the computer with XP I upgraded to Windows7 - charge install.

Keys still don't work - it was a real pain first as my computer was created for ctl + alt + delete to log on and I had to do with the keyboard of the screen - XP - it showed also that numlock performed before and after windows starts.

The reason why I suspect a virus - my wife was watching an of its tv shows on the line of the country of origin (an another toshiba laptop) and I needed to use this laptop for something else, so I asked to use mine - then we turned off laptops and the morning turned tham back on again once , the other laptop with virus protection AVG reported several hits and this one with Norton (FAMOUS and completely up-to-date) flagged nothing - once I got the screen keyboard.

Problems with this computer were found after scanning with different antivirus.
Anyway - I find myself with 4 keys that don't work not on my keyboard (in fact they work after I have connected to the computer for the first time, but I had to hold them in place for a long time - and then the next time I rebooted, not at all and did not since)

Here, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm working on this all weekend with no joy at all.

    Thanks in advance.

Having a virus attack, the Windows files will be destroyed. Try the scan with kaspersky on Nod 32. If not help, reinstall os because it is the best solution in your case.

  • My Mac wireless keyboard is typing the wrong characters

    Hi all

All of a sudden my keyboard wireless mac type "instead of @ shift 2"

ALT 3 product also only sign £ instead of #.

any advice most welcome. My setting preferably keyboard displays 3 options - British; British and French PC. None seems to make no difference to the foregoing.

I have a 21.5 inch iMac running El Capitan

    Thank you very much

This means that your keyboard is set to British PC rather than British.  Go to the sources of the system/preferences/keyboard and remove PC British, so it cannot become active.

Your keyboard must be indicated in the menu 'flag' in the top right of the screen.  You click to select another.

  • N5R98UA spectrum HP X 360: touchscreen keyboard don't always automatically appears

When you use my spectrum in tablet mode, I noticed the touchpad will appear in some applications like Internet Explorer, but not in others such as Chrome. My search on the internet shows that some laptops have a setting under settings-devices-typing in order to allow the keyboard to appear automatically. My HP spectrum doesn't have this option. My question is should have this option or if it is not incorporated in the spectrum of HP X 360?

I can touch the keypad icon in the taskbar, but it's not as convenient as an automatic pop up when you touch an entry field.

    Thank you.

    Hello @AnthonyJ911,

    Thanks for the quick response!

To my knowledge, the functionality must be native to the operating system Windows 10.  However, since you can't physically detach the keyboard of the laptop, you shouldn't be able to have the work function, using the option in the settings.  The function should work on Microsoft Edge, because it is supplied with the operating system.  Google Chrome and other applications that was not part of the operating system may have compatibility problems.  For Google Chrome, try to go to chrome://flags and see if you have the possibility to adjust the turn on Touch events.  If so, try switching Automatic to Activate.  Let me know how it goes.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Pavilion 15 t-n200: HP Pavilion 15 t n200 - ANOTHER problem of flag - DISPLAY messed...

So, I bought laptops 15 t-n200 of TWO 2 HP Pavilion last year, and here it is the specs:

    • S window 7 Home Premium 64
    • 4th generation Intel® Core™ i5-4200U processor + Intel® HD graphics card
    • diagonal 15.6-inch BrightView HD (1366 x 768) LED backlit
    • 8 GB of DDR3 (1 Dimm) system memory
    • 750 GB 5400 RPM hard drive
    • No Softw are additional Office
    • Security Softw are trial
    • Battery 4 cells Lithium-Ion
    • SuperMulti 8 X DVD +/-R/RW w ith Support Double layer
    • Standard keyboard (black)
    • Webcam HP TrueVision HD w ith Dual digital Microphone (black mineral)
    • 802.11b/g/n WLAN [1 X 1]

The first of the NIC card went bad, then had to send it back and they sent me a HP Envy.  It works very well.

Now, the second cell of 15 t-n200 HP Pavilion, less used because an employee currently, screen shows horizontal white lines across the entire screen.

    I have:

    1. Uninstalled/Reinstalled the graphics card
    2. Restored to a previous restore point
    3. It was restarted in safe mode and result of the diagnostic stuff
    4. Rebotted and restarted

The lines went away for about 30 minutes after the restoration of windows, but finally they came back and the screen is more often just now.

I have a beautiful, like new, HP Pavilion 15 t-n200 that seems to be DEFECTIVE. Ironically, just like this one.

I remember at the time where Dell was the big name in portable PC.  When I worked for GE, Dell embarquerions computers laptops new for us, for our Department that would not last a month, or the keyboard could not be broken up (even if the box was not), etc.

I promised myself after that experience of being a man of HP, but it's flat disappointing...  Two flags which broke out, before the expiry of the guarantee and the other after the expiration of the warranty...

Even if I don't feel like there is nothing I can do at this point, I am open to all to give a final blow to this laptop.  Anyone have any ideas?

I am very disappointed with HP... There, the quality became atrocious over the years.  Problem after problem... I'm tired of it...  If this issue cannot be solved, I'll take my business to Toshiba... or even Lenovo (IBM Stinkpads)...

THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS:

.. .drum roll... NOT to BUY HP LAPTOP PAVILION... NEVER!

I have been contacted by a case manager, but it doesn't have a lot of help, as all he could do was offer repair me the laptop at a price that is outrageous compared to the initial cost of the laptop.

But why would I want a laptop faulty return?  This is the reason why HP WILL NOT receive any business from me in the future.

I bought TWO 2 HP Pavilion 15 t - n200 Notebooks (exact same configurations - exactly what was suggested):

-Purchased directly from the HP Store homepage

-Both bought within two months of the other

    -Both shipped from China

-The two end up having defective parts, giving them a useful life of less than a year for a single and a little more than one year for each other.

-Laptop 1 had a faulty NIC card, 2 portable has a defective video card or the LCD

-Two laptops were PC replacements and barely moved.

What are the chances that BOTH of these books have defective parts?

HP does not seem to think nothing of it, I have increased my case and their climbing team, which is supposed to meet before the end of the next business day, NEVER communicated with me when I told him my concerns of a range of defective products and/or the production cycle...

If you have this problem, it is my view that the same given the support of options gives you, you unfortunately bought a LEMON.  At least, that's how I think of her and lost nearly $600.  Never again...
