Flash-Air-App iOS and new Apple App Store (XCode 5)

Hi Forum,

I use Flash CC for the development of an iOS App (AIR).

Now, will soon update Apple iOS to 7.1 and Apple says that, as of February 1, 2014, you can only publish iOS Apps created in XCode 5 in the App Store.
Or how I have to read this statement from Apple: "From February 1, new applications and app submitted to App Store updates must be generated with Xcode 5 and iOS SDK 7."

How will this affect my project?

It will always be possible to publish a FLash-Air-iOS-App via App Store?

Adobe fixed this internally. Just update your adobe air sdk to the latest from labs.adobe.com

  • White screen white on approved Flash/AIR app

    Okay, so I got de-A-Rama Deluxe (game) works well in the Simulator. Downloaded from the store. App is approved. And the first thing I get are two zero star reviews from people who say that the game crashes when loading. Just bought and tested on the material (2.0 beta) and of course, I get a blank white screen and theme music, but no game.

    So I pulled it down immediately.

    Two questions:

    1. does anyone know why this could happen in a Flash/AIR application? I have a dozen games on Playbook and this is the first I've seen of him.

    2 - does anyone know why RIM would approve the game if it does not work?

    Well, looks like I found it. Took a whole day to comment the code, it would not appear elsewhere than on a playbook of material.

    Problem was in my high note object that stores small pieces of data in Flash SharedObjects (which, in the AIR, local unshared storage card unit cases). Of-A-Rama Deluxe a 20 rating categories, with wounds up to 99 in each category. I could not see any problems on other platforms, but it looks like the research that many SharedObjects on Playbook slowed the work quite that Playbook has been assuming that the app was broken and he was killing.

    I rewrote the high score of object to enter the scores according to needs rather than all at once, and that seems to have fixed the delay.

  • Problem download my Flash/air app to iTunes connect: invalid signature

    I have developed an application using Flash CC set to deploy to 3.8 AIR for IOS. Now, I'm stuck on the last obstacle: submit the application for iTunes connect.

    I downloaded successfully the application - outside a few warnings on the icons size 120, 76 and 152. And then immediately after I get an email which reads as follows:-

    Invalid signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a certificate of distribution, not an ad hoc certificate or certificate of development. Verify that code in Xcode signing settings are correct at the target level (which cancels all values to the project level). Additionally, make sure that the bundle you load was built using an output in Xcode target, not a simulator target. If you are certain that your code signing settings are correct, click on "Clean" in Xcode, delete the 'build' directory in the Finder and rebuild your output target.

    I checked, re-checked and checked again the certificate.p12 and the provisioning profile. They all look good to me, not "ad hoc" distribution-updated The deployment type is set to "Ap Apple store".

    I do not see what hurts me and makes me crazy (and of course, I'm on a deadline).

    Help, please.

    Are the applications offered on the old and the newest model the same? Is there a difference in the content available?

    The old Apple TV has only included basic apps, and there is no App store: you can't add apps.

    The new apple TV is like an iPhone or an iPad: there's an app store where you can get new applications to your Apple TV.

    So I have this code allowing me to load the text of an xml located on a server. Everything works fine on Air for Android. The app works even in the ios emulator, but once I export my app on my ios with ios device 7, I do not see any text. The app is developed with Air sdk 3.9. What could be the reason? Do I need any special authorization like on Android? IOS even allow load xml from an external server?

    I heard reports of a Flash projector being accepted at the store application. The developer had to edit the plist and band PowerPC code to make it acceptable to the app store, but - the standard projector produced by Flash would be rejected.

  • Question on export for iOS/App Store

    I tried to follow all the instructions (http://developer.apple.com/ios/manage/distribution/index.action) correctly, but they were written for XCode and not Adobe. I looked on the Adobe site, but I can't find any information or documentation telling me what I'm doing wrong.

    I use Flash CS 5.5 and AIR 2.7.

    In iTunes Connect under Provisioning-> Distribution I created a new Distribution Provisioning profile. This I opened in the AIR for iOS Settings-> deployment-> Provisioning profile. Bundle IDS match.

    In iTunes Connect under Certificates-> I've created a new certificate of Distribution Distribution. What I installed using Keychain Access.

    In Flash, I continued using the same developer certificate (.p12 file) I had used to test my app on my device.

    I downloaded and used trousseau to install the intermediate certificate WWDR.

    Flash-> AIR for iOS Settings-> deployment-> iOS deployment type, I chose "deployment - Apple App Store"


    I compiled the app and tried to download using the Application Loader. He gave me the following error message:

    "Application has no codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with a certificate of presentation of Apple. »

    All my certificates are up to date and valid and were installed without duplicates.

    Any ideas? I don't know what else I'm supposed to do or where else to turn for answers.

    That sounds right. You must export it, including the private key, use in a .p12 file with Flash CS.

  • Codesign verification - failure of the App Store app Loader application

    I try to download a .ipa compiled with flash cs5 - AIR for iOS, and I get 'Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate. "message and I am unable to download.

    I tried to create new profiles and provisioning certificates, but I still get the same message.

    I converted the distribution_identity.cer in a .p12 and added to the project with the provisioning profile. The App Store is selected as my deployment option.

    The only strange thing I've noticed is the name associated with the certificate of distribution in iOS provisioning portal is different from the name on the account of developer and the name associated with the certificate of development for some reason any. Could it be the cause of the problem?

    I have addded the delivery of mobile developer instead of delivery of distribution. I discovered this after reading

    I understand that you have a new iPhone, and you try to save up to iTunes on your PC.  However, I'm sure about your comment "I changed my Apple ID."   Do you mean you went on the appleid.apple.com site and edited your Apple ID existing, or that you mean that you have created a new Apple ID?   Looks like you have created a new Apple ID, and if this is the case, you will not be able to access any purchase you make on your old Apple ID.

    What I would say is to contact our Apple ID account security team so that they can help you straighten it.  Once you do, you will be able to re-download your past purchases, and to save your iPhone again use iCloud or iTunes.   I would add some general information for you below, but in your situation, I think that individual support with someone who can access your account would be the best course of action.
