The only thing that the iphone can do the Droid can't must be able to browse the internet and use the functions that use the date (3G) in order to operate while talking on the phone. Other than its use Wifi to be able to do this, when the droid will have this capability? It is impossible or that it will eventually be a part of the Froyo 2.2 update. I have not read anything yet for me to believe that it is a part of froyo. Or this will be a feature that will require a hardware change, which means that it will be possible on the Droid (1) with its current material? I hope someone with a bit more knowledge in this area can enlighten us (i.e. motorcycle Xprts). Thank you!

  This has nothing to do with the Droid or it's software... it's Verizon's CDMA network that prevents you to do this.    -Dan

  The Google toolbar still works fine with Firefox 5.0, although she says it's not compatible.   I'm working on a project of Mobile AIR where we would be probably saved about 6 months of intensive work if some of our old AS2 code could be compiled and run in the AIR Mobile for iOS. So if there is actually a "ActionScript 2.0 compiler" AIR SDK 3.8, it would be fantastic to hear.

  However, I suspect that this note has nothing to do with actually "compilation of ActionScript 2.0 code;" I suspect that this simply refers to version 2.0 of the compiler "ActionScript". (Which of course is the same as the old "Flex compiler". Which of course had nothing to do with the 'Flex' framework.)

  No, the ActionScript 2.0 compiler is just the new version of the compiler. Adobe AIR is not at all compatible AS2. And because Adobe dropped AS2 support of Flash Pro, don't expect there to support all the AIR.
