Flash builder 4.6 or 4.5 launch in mountain lion

Does anyone have any ideas on when they come to the top with an update? I really need to use Flash Builder, and I can't. Thank you.

I had no trouble 4.6 or 4.7 beta running on Mt. Lion. Do you have

installed Java yet?

After installing Flash builder 4 neither to him nor to flex builder 3 has been able to launch flex swf:s. After hitting to run or debug flex gives a prompt saying "Flash Player is not found. Flex builder cannot locate the required version of Flash Player. You need to maybe install Flash Player 9 or reinstall Flex Builder. Do you want to try to run your application with the current version? ». The popup itself happened before the installation of flash builder 4. But normally I would hit just Yes and he would use any flashplayer is default.

Now, if I click Yes it launch command prompt with a path to the installation folder of flex 3 Builder. When running flash builder 4, same happens except the path is the folder of installation of flash builder 4. Flex then begins waiting for connection of the debugger, and after awhile, he invites a timeout message. The title of command prompts is... \workspace\project\bin-debug\filename.swf.

When you open the SWFs directly from windows, they open fine.

I used the uninstaller for flash player software and recovered both fp9 & 10 and reinstalled the. That did not help. When we browser everything works fine, the problem occurs only when you launch standalone player. I tried to check the registry settings if there is something wrong, but all the flashplayers paths seem to be ok.

Is there another hope to solve this problem than to reinstall flex builder 3 and flash builder 4 from scratch?

You need content installed FP debugger

http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html download from here and install it and you should see the problem go away

Download the Flash Player 10 ActiveX Windows control content debugger (for IE) (EXE, 2.03 MB)

I recommend doing a clean uninstall, if you have not already, then re - install and update.

By a 'clean' uninstall, I mean:

    1. Uninstall using the uninstaller (in/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 / folder).
    2. After the uninstall is complete, check in / applications. If the folder Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 persists, drag it to the trash.
    3. Empty the trash, to make sure that nothing remains of Dreamweaver.

Then open Adobe Application Manager (or go to creative.adobe.com/apps) to start the process of download/installation of Dreamweaver again.

After installation, check if you can open the application.

If you can, then go ahead and select help > updates (or just the section "Updates" of Adobe Application Manager) to install the latest updates.

Just found out that Flash Builder 4.6 and 4.5 do not run. Flash Builder 4 is. Download the logo popping up, but nothing of loading. I would uninstall other versions, but I get an error when I go to my program settings and click on my package of CS.

UPDATE: I contacted Adobe yesterday and they had me do something that I thought not.

    Launch MSCONFIG

On the Services tab click Hide all Microsoft services.

    Click on disable all buttons

    Restart your system

Run Flash Builder (it has now begun)

I closed Flash Builder and reentered MSCONFIG

Uncheck Hide all Microsoft (if active) services

    Click activate all buttons

    Restart your computer

Flash Builder still worked after that. Now, everything is good.

  • Failed to launch! ApolloLaunchDelegate.fileDoesNotExist! in Flash Builder when debugging AIR applications

    Hello world

I use flash/flex builder for years, but have never tried to create an AIR application before.  I tried to create a 'Hello' world app before wearing some of my stuff by following the instructions here:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/air/1.5/devappsflex/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d118676a28bd-8000. HTML

"but when I try to debug the code, I get the a dialog box"Unable to launch"with the useless comment! ApolloLaunchDelegate.fileDoesNotExist!'.

    I'm running win7x64, SDK 4.1

I tried all kinds of different files in the AIR, including the value by default when you create an empty project and the conversion of copies of some of my existing flex projects on the desktop, but they all give the same message.

Google does not help.  Any ideas would be welcome.

    Kenneth

EDIT: just tried the same thing on my same version of flash builder on my laptop and it works... The laptop working Vistax64.  The only other different is that when I chose SDK 4.1 in the new project dialog box, he said, AIR 2.0, while on this machine, say, he needed air 1.5

    Hello

You can check whether a SWF file has been generated in your bin-debug folder? Looking at the code FB, this happens when the SWF file does not exist. (Although I don't know why the error message is incorrect for you. Did pass you to FB 4 to 4.0.1 or are you on an own 4.0.1 install?)

Try to check your view of 'Problems' to see if there are any compiler errors.

    Thank you

  • Flash Builder - launch failed

    Hello

I am new to Flash Builder and Action Script so this may be something obvious to others...

Flash Builder is not re - generate swf and html files in the Bin-debug folder and therefore fails with the message "unable to launch. Here are the steps to reproduce the behavior:

    • Using Flash Builder 4 on Vista
    • create the folder NomMonProjet
    • File-> new-> ActionScriptProject (provide NomMonProjet)
    • Project-> build the project (creates html and swf files in bin-debug correctly)
    • Go to Flash Debug perspective and start the debugger; Browse the 'empty' OK code
    • Close project, close Flash Builder
    • Add the code AS
    • Open Flash Builder
    • Refresh (F5) file system
    • Project build
    • The debugger steps as if the FORMER Action Script code is in the file!
    • Project and build own workspace
    • All bin-debug files are deleted, but are NOT re-created.
    • Launching fails (they are a no files in the bin-debug folder)

I made sure that the ActionScript compiler settings are "checked" to generate wrappers, system restarted, looked at the process in Windows Task Manager, searched the web, but all to no avail. I am convinced that there must be something simple I'm missing preventing a good compilation of my project (unless there is a serious bug on a part of the Adobe...)

A big thank you to all those who care for help!

How can I get this fix so I can run the new Flash Builder?

Master Collection CS6 for Mac (Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 Installation failure). Setup could not install Adobe Flash Builder 4.6

    What should do?

    Hi Alex_RF,

Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly. So, in this case, re-download the software and do not forget to compare the file size of the file downloaded with the file on the server.

    Download Creative Suite 6 applications

Allows you to check in this case as well and make sure that the download is finished.

If not, please use the cleanup tool to remove the files from the CS 6 of machine: use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

Follow the steps in the link below and check the log files:

  • Flash Builder on Mac Lion 10.7.5 4.6: cannot run the Setup program: certificate revoked

    Hello

You are aware that FB 4.6 is not install more OS x 10.7.5 and maybe OS X in general?

Because I really need design view last FB does not offer, I just downloaded 4.6 FB for OS X from Adobe: Adobe - Adobe Flash Builder 4: for Macintosh: Flash Builder 4.6 - Mac OS: thanks

My real OS X is 10.7.5, Lion.

Launch of the install.app, it appears an error window:

Please be aware that I know that this message comes from Gatekeeper, see for example: OS X: on Gatekeeper

The fact is that this problem is not solvable, apparently.

The problem is with the application signing certificate, as you can see issuing the command:

    bash - 3.2 # spctl - has Install.app

    Install.app: CSSMERR_TP_CERT_REVOKED

So, here we have a certificate of _revoked_, not a certificate/developer unknown or app unsigned.

Indeed, unfortunately the problem persists even disabling Gatekeeper:

    bash - 3.2 # spctl - status

    co-pays disabled

since apparently a revoked certificate is not an error that can be ignored or circumvented somehow.

As far as I KNOW, the idea behind this is: Apple actually provide no verification quality on applications (they are not "approved by") but may possibly (if there are "problems") block a via the recall mechanism. Because of this, the _revoked? _ check cannot be bypassed/disabled. I'll try as soon as POSSIBLE an upgrade of the OS to see if with the Mountain Lion (10.8) I can possibly force execution Install.app, but chances appear to be rare so far.

So, Adobe, can you help me please?

Maybe sign with a certificate valid for this installer...

FB4.6 is essential because it is the last version with DV. I had to install FB46 on Windows to keep working, but it's no doubt slow me down as everything is on Mac.

    ARO

    a pro developer.

Hello all, good news: after updating to 10.8.5, Mountain Lion I was able to run the Setup program and all went well.

Mountain lion allows the user force execution through the command open context menu (CTRL-click) and it works, just as simple as that.

So my advice is: If you want to install or reinstall Flash Builder 4.6 on a Mac with Lion installed, updated to Mountain Lion or better to avoid problems.

Apple introduced some (not all) Gatekeeper 10.7.3 and following features, but apparently you need a full-fledged 10.8 to also have what you need to work around a revoked certificate error.

Since usually OS X has auto update active, if you run Lion you find with 10.7.5 and do not install FB46. If you manage to somehow hold 10.7.2 I guess you should be able to install FB46, sincerely I don't check it out. In any case, it is simpler and safer to move to 10.8.x.

    Good bye

  • How can I really associate .as ActionScript with Flash Builder file in Windows 8?

How can I really associate .as ActionScript with Flash Builder file in Windows 8?

In Windows 7, you have to go to preferences - Flash Builder - File Associations, etc. There is no file Associations in the Windows 8 version: (see image)

Adobe made a web page that indicates that you must use Windows Explorer to associate FlashBuilder.exe .as files, but it does not work: http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Builder/KB/unable-set-default-file-associations.html

FlashBuilder.exe does not support opening a file .as like that. Flash Builder attempts to launch a new process and requires a different workspace to be able to open a Windows file. So either Adobe should add support for binding to the Windows 8 file in Flash Builder, or it must be a setting that prevents the Flash Builder to open a second instance of process.

    Flash Builder Settings.jpg

I found a solution. I used a Windows 7 machine that is the file association appropriate and observed the key of Windows registry using regedit.exe. I exported the key and made a .reg file and copied on my machine Windows 8. After installing registry keys, the associated file did not immediately because Windows 8 has this key to the user choice that always associates the file .as with Flash Professional. So after installing the underside of the keys, then I used Windows Explorer to associate files with Flash Builder .as and my file associations work as expected. It is an Adobe specific integration problem that must be fixed on the end of Adobe to support file associations in Windows 8.

    Success as follows:

    (1) install the registry keys below

    (2) use the Windows Explorer to always associate FlashBuilder.exe .as files

    ========================================================================================

copy the below into a file with the .reg extension. Then use the "Merge" command to Windows Explorer to install in the registry

  • Problem installing Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 (Windows 64)

I have a problem installing the 64-bit version of Adobe Flash Builder 4.7. I have not had any problems with the 32-bit version.

First of all, I couldn't download the installer by Akamai Download Manager. When the download is complete, about two-thirds, I get the error "failed to check content (content invalid). I tried several times with several different browsers but no luck.

I am able to get the installation program by using the other method to download but when I go to use the extraction of the file progress gets to 100% and then I get then I get the error, "this is a problem when extracting the files. Check the amount of space available on your computer and write on the desitnation folder rights. »

I have 72 GB available and the installer extracted the files in my office that I have full read and write. I am logged on as a user with administrator privileges and have tried to launch the file as administrator.

    All ideas are appeciated!

    Thank you!

    Jill

Jill from your description, it seems you are facing problems of stability with your current Internet connection.  It seems initially the corrupted download based on the errors that you have posted.

I advise to use another connection to see if you encounter the same difficulties.  If you are connected wireless, for example, please try a wired connection.

You can also download the installation files on a USB stick on another computer, and then install from the USB drive.

  • The AIR SDK upgrade to 3.8 in Flash Builder 4.7...

    I use Flash Builder 4.7 on a Mac using OS X 10.7.5.

I downloaded the AIR SDK here: http://airdownload.Adobe.com/air/Mac/download/latest/AdobeAIRSDK.tbz2

(The one WITHOUT the compiler, because it is the one that says it's compatible Flex.)

I followed all the instructions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/how-overlay-air-sdk-flex-sdk.html

I changed the Application descriptor on my Mobile ActionScript project to this: http://ns.Adobe.com/air/application/3.8 and he recorded without error.

Yet, whenever I try to launch the project, I get the following error:

Error occurred during the application of packaging: Users/my_name/Documents/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/my_project/bin-debug/my_project-app.xml: error 102: invalid namespace http://ns.Adobe.com/air/application/3.8

WTF is going on here, I should then?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Never mind - I thought of it myself...

You need to download the version of the SDK * WITH * the compiler (here:http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download-mac.html ) and then delete the contents of the folder/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK and replace them with the contents of the AIRSDK_Compiler.tbz2 file that you downloaded.

So - to be clear that you have to do BOTH of these things - the thing I did in my first post with the overlay, AND the thing I did in this post with the contents of the folder AIRSDK replacement to make it work properly...

I wish that when you google "How to upgrade AIR SDK in Flash Builder 4.7" it would return to a single page with these TWO sets of instructions on them.

In any case, the problem is now solved...

  • Flash Builder 4.7 Debug Configuration Bug

I just updated today to Flash Builder 4.7 and came across an annoying bug that does not exist with 4.6. I always get many debug configurations when developing mobile applications, IE. iPhone, iPad, iOS on the device. When I tried to create these configurations this morning, I noticed that it doesn't let me have several configurations of AIR Simulator for various devices. When I change the device on one, it changes the device on the other, both of them doing exactly the same behavior. Everyone knows about this problem? Is there a way around it?

There is a solution to this problem. To understand workaround, it will be good to understand a little better what is happening with the bug.

As a result, the problem with this bug is not with the loading or saving of configurations, but rather with a switching between them. It seems that when switching between the two the same (for example, two configurations of Mobile Application), is not properly clear the form data, and because the form is not allowed to go out it does not correctly load the new information in and as such extends the old information. Since the recording of the code still works very well, when you exit it will record the messed up new configuration during the setup of old, good.

So, technically, it is not the same configuration appears twice, but rather two different configurations which are set up the same because the form did not clearly get out when you switch between the two configurations.

So now that we have a better understanding of the bug, here's workaround: If you click on something that uses a different form, it will destroy the shape. So for instance, if you have an iPhone 4 and an iPad Simulator Simulator and you have the iPad Simulator selected and you select the iPhone 4 Simulator, first simply click on the Mobile Application and then click on your iPhone 4 Simulator. When you do this all works very well.

In addition, if you switch directly between the two, know that the configuration you just left is fine. It is only the one that you are currently looking that is messed up, and all you have to do is difficulty that you are looking for.

So that at least we'll you work around the problem. It is also appropriate to establish just enough different configurations for where you never really need access the menu Debug Configurations. For example, I have two configurations set in place for each device or Simulator that I put in place, one who has the box 'Clear application to each launch data' verified and who does not. In addition, I have four simulators (iPad, iPhone, Android phone, Android Tablet) and one "on the device" installation (Android). Combining these gives me ten different configurations which covers the majority of what I do regularly and it does in so that I don't have need access Configurations Debug menu all that often.

At this point with that many configurations it is also useful to organize all these configurations in the drop of debugging using the Organize favorites that can be selected in the drop-down list even.

So, this made for a very long answer, but I hope that it will help you and help out some other people who also run in the same question. It does not change the fact that there is a really horrible bug and Adobe really needs to get on fixing it, but it can at least make sure it can be lived with.

  • Is anyway to change the file Info.plist and Flash Builder 4.6 settings allows to compress the iOS app?

    Hello

I tried to wrap my application with the last 4.5 Xcode (19 Oct 2012 version) iOS 6 SDK, Flash Builder Flex SDK with Air Beta overlay 3.5 4.6 4.6.

unzip the .ipa file and I found the following automated settings on the file Info.plist did not:

    < key > DTPlatformVersion < / key >

    < string > 5.1 < / string >

    < key > DTSDKBuild < / key >

    < string > 9B 176 < / string >

    < key > DTSDKName < / key >

    < string > iphoneos5.1 < / string >

According to the specifications of Adobe, these settinsg are unchangeble, is there anyway to change these values to produce .ipa file with parameters iOS 6.0 with Flash Builder 4.6?

I think that this cause the problem of presentation appstore below with the image of the iPhone screen 5 4-inch screen splash [email protected]:

Invalid launch image - you app contains a launch image with a size modifier which is only supported for applications built with the iOS SDK 6.0 or later version.

    Thank you very much

  • Flash Builder 4.6 + Extension Builder 2.0

    Hi all

I installed Flash Builder Premium (first edition) 4.6 and imported from the CS Flex SDK 3.4 and 4.5 of CS SDK 2.0. I also installed the plugin Extension CS Builder 2.0. I have already installed Photoshop CS 5 and 6 CS and their extension handlers.

My problem is that when I download a sample application (say HelloPhotoshop), FDI was told that there is something wrong:

configuration variable 'compile .external-library-path' value contains unknown token 'CSLIBS '.

If I add this CSLIBS as a linked resource, it complains CSAR:

configuration variable 'compile .library-path' value contains unknown token "CSAR".

If I add this one as well (I guessed maybe it's this location: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\eclipse\plugins\com.adobe.cside.libsinstaller_2.0.0.4-33034\archive\csar-1.0), and then he complains about something else when you run it:

    Error occurred during the build.

Errors under builder "Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder" of the project "HelloPhotoshop".

    com/adobe/cside/flexsdk/FlexSDKActivator

Looks like I have something wrong with the references and that everything is properly installed... I did a clean install several times, with no result better. Any ideas?

    Thank you very much

PS: more information. If I solve all the problems of references, then run against Photoshop CS5 and CS6 there is another problem:

An internal error occurred during: "Test launch.

    com.adobe.flexbuilder.debug.FlexBuilderLaunchEvents.preLaunchCheck (Ljava/lang/String; MCOL / adobe/flexbuilder/project/LaunchMode; MCOL/adobe/flexide/launch/IFlexLaunchConfiguration; LORG/eclipse/core/runtime/IProgressMonitor ;) LORG/eclipse/core/runtime/secret;

This sounds like something went wrong during installation. CSAR and CSLIBS references must be configured automatically during installation.

Should also no need to import the Flex SDK as CS Extension Builder 2.0 comes with include them. It will not hurt, although the SDK of Flex imported CS.

Can clarify you how you installed CS Extension Builder 2.0, please and where you got to?

Here are the installation instructions I would recommend from an instance of FlashBuilder 4.6 own:

To install Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder, download the ZIP file and unzip it in a location of the root (SDKRoot).

Install the Extension Builder in Eclipse with Flash Builder or Flash Builder Standalone:
    1. In Eclipse, choose Help > install new software.
    2. In the installation dialog box, click Add.
    3. In the Add Site dialog box, click Local... to navigate to the SDK root folder or enter the URL of the update site.
    4. Name the site CS SDK, and then click OK to confirm the changes.
    5. Select the new site of the CS SDK in the field "work with".

-Select all the components of Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder.
-Click Next to confirm the selection.

    6. In the dialogue journal installation details, click next to confirm that you want to install all of the components listed.
    7. Accept the terms of the license agreements and click Finish.
    8. Re-start Eclipse as recommended it.
