Flash Builder 4.7, eGit and decorations "Label".

Used 4.6 with eGit and there are small arrows if you were shoot or pull behind your remote tracking branch.

Now, with 4.7, they're gone. He looked under Preferences-> team-> Git-> label-> text decorations decorations and the decoration of {branch_status} was missing. Also he didn t show more in 'Add of Variables. So I added back manually, but nothing helped. Problem persists.

Checked if the problem with a clean install of Eclipse and eGit eGit was and he arrow decorations bit show. Therefore, Flash Builder. Someone had / have the same problem and a fix for this? I ve been watching and try for hours to solve this problem.

Figured it out. Don t know where the egit installation comes but it was incompatible with fb 4.7.

Added http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates

updated sites, installed an update, now it works correctly.

    Hey guys. I know frankly, there are 1 million post on the forums about this, but I wanted to be sure and had a few questions myself. Good so I used Flash Builder Burrito to sign and package my request. My app is a Mobile Flex Application and I use 0.9.4 SDK. I used the MANY post on this forum through signature and methods of packaging and it worked perfectly, no errors at all. The two files that I got after conditioning and signature was my apps .bar and bar.sign files. I saw in other post to extract the .bar file to see if its signed and if the icon is there. How do you do this will WinRAR or PowerISO to extract this file type. I fear only because all Iv seen post are all saying theres tons of bugs with the packaging and signing using burrito, but all I could see was that they were using the SDK 0.9.3. Should I have a problem with my .bar file? I don't know how to extract my .bar file to view the contents, so I can at least check to make sure that it is signed and packaged properly. Can someone me another message or an article on how to extract the .bar file and check to make sure that its all good to present, RIMM. My previous version was rejected of RIMM is not signed and sent the Bug of version. I have just re-climbed the .bar I got to use the new SDK and had no errors, so I hope this is right. Anyway thanks in advance and any help would be great.

    The .bar file is just a zip file.  It will work any util that allows to read a zip file.  If you need to rename the .bar to a zip file, which is OK, but be sure to rename it before upload.

    What chances or opportunities do I have, if I want to buy Flash Builder, apply, export it, and use it for my final document (code in Estonian language tutorials) for free?

    Well, Adobe did have a program that gave Free Flash Builder for students & teachers, but apparently he was interrupted - sorry!

    Versions of 30-day trial of Flash Builder and all the other tools CS6 and creative cloud are still available, if that helps.

    Adobe also currently offers free dashboard copies animate 1.0 for everyone (versions permanent web content creation for interactive & animated), which could serve as a nice substitute.

  • Workflow between Flash Professional and Flash Builder

    I am new to using Flash Builder as editor AS3 for Flash Professional projects.  I followed several tutorials on the workflow between the two but keep hitting a snag.

    Linking the .fla and the .as seems to work without any problem... the issue is when I try to "export for actionscript movieclip" in flash, then try to edit this movieclip using flash builder. Flash builder loads as expected, and the creation of a new actionscript class dialog appears.  All the appropriate data is filled in but the button is grey "Finish."  If I browse the default package, and then click OK it shows an error in the top of the dialog box saying "Super class flash.display.MovieClip cannot be resolved for the selected project."  This happens whenever I have enter 'flash.display.MovieClip' in the field of the superclass, when you create a new class or attempt to change the definition of class to a MovieClip in .fla library.  Why is it not recognize references to flash.display.MovieClip? Concidering the majority of my actionscripting will need to reference movieclips, this is a pretty big problem. No idea what could be casuing it... a google search has proved to be unnecessary.

    Not sure what caused the problem, but he had something to do with the .fla

    After creating a new .fla and move all the existing movie clips on, it worked fine.

  • Can you run Flex Builder 3 and Flash Builder 4 side by side?

    I have what I want, it's a relatively simple matter. Society, I am currently working a number of Flex 3 projects on track to completion or in the last part of their development, phase, but we use SVN version control. It is my understanding that while you can use Flash Builder 4 to create and/or edit and publish Flex 3 projects, once you are using FB4 on a project from version control, anyone who removes this project svn will have to FB4 allows you to change the project. Assuming that is right, can get us FB3 and FB4 installed on our desktops and switch between them according to the projects we use? We hope our developers migrate FB4 they encapsulate the development on Flex 3 projects, but we might need developers working on Flex 4 projects to help on the stages of our Flex 3 applications. Just to clarify: we are both FB3 and FB4 executable running at the same time, just the possibility of close FB4 and launch FB3 and vice versa without going through error or compile questions. We use install it standalone FB, not Eclipse plug-ins, btw.

    Yes - to my knowledge, you can have FB3 and FB4 installed on the same computer without conflict.

    Each separate default version uses the workspace, as soon as you try not to share workspaces between both versions, you should be safe.

    Hi Adobe - we have a few lingering unanswered questions in the Flash Builder forum.

    I am looking for a download link for Flash Builder 4.7 - for the non-CC version.

    OR

    Creative cloud version will work with my Flash Builder Premium of 4.7 serial number and do I just install it through the creative process of cloud?  I really don't want to go creative cloud at the moment - but I don't know if it's the same file in Flash Builder 4.7 anyway and as soon as I put my serial number, it will take me off creative cloud.

    So... looking for a download link for Flash Builder 4.7 for the serial number of my non creative cloud.

    Thanks kglad.  I ended up going with just the installer of creative cloud - which is very nice!  He installed Flash Builder 4.7 and then it was the trial version - so the next time I opened it, it gave an option to add a serial number - I did and it worked.  So I think we're good!

    Hi there, I have a license of Flash Builder Premium 4.7 and have changed computers - where I have CS6 installed (and therefore and unfortunately, Flash Builder 4.6).  I can't find a download link to 4.7 - only creative cloud version.  Should I install this one?  I don't want to go to creative cloud quite yet but rather install the stand alone Flash Builder 4.7.  Thank you.  So... looking for a link to Flash Builder 4.7 no creative cloud.

    We (the company) buy Adobe products now more than 6-7 years. We bought the Flash builder 4.5 premium and premium Flash builder 4.5 for volume PHP license. Now flash builder 4.7 should be complementary upgrade for us. But when we are using the trial version of Flash builder 4.7 and addition of serial number (serial number of Flash builder 4.5), it is simply not working and showing an error "the key is not valid.

    I chat with Adobe customer care 4 different people, they find themselves saying that we transfer you volume license Department and then chat on sale. No message chat more, I checked over an hour and still no message.

    So I called, it took 15 minutes to communicate with the service the customer. I chose the option 'upgrade' from the menu of the phone and then connected with a guy. After listening full case he passed my call to the Executive of license Volume and of the Executive of license volume transferred to another guy and the other guy to some person capacit¨¦s redirect. So in total 4 guys. The last guy (specialized) called Rohit.

    Rohit guy asked me, I buy a customer support program (some product on $2.nn.00)? I said no, we purchased volume licenses for Flash builder 4.5 premium (subject to $4000.00 *). He said, sorry Sir I can't help you in this area, but I can provide you with an e-mail address and you can report your concern here. I already spent my 1.5 hour in this conversation. I said okie. He gave me a case number and told me that he will send an email stating that the e-mail address in my application I have to unplug the phone.

    I never get this email address.

    Can someone suggest me what to do next. Is my file number: 209-788-274.

  • Destroy... What would cause a Flash Builder crashing repeatedly on the same. MXML file?

    I'm building a pretty simple application and I changed something in a .mxml file pretty simple and all of a sudden whenever I open the file for editing, Flash Builder crashes and dies horribly.

    If I have all the code in comment and reopen Flash Builder, I can open and edit the file correctly. I can even put all the original in the code and test the application successfully.

    But...

    When I put all the code back in and then go back to edit the file, Flash Builder exterminates in a sort of permanent and irrevocable while I comment on all the code to make it work again...

    I tried to export, delete, import to reset the project, but the problem is recurring.

    Then...

    It is clear that I wrote something in my .mxml file that sends Flash Builder in an infinite loop of godawful or another dead end, but I'm at a loss to say what, as it is very MXML very base and direct without (far as I can tell) something unusual... and I've been professional programming with Flex for a number of years and built some _big_ Meanwhile applications...

    If someone has experienced something similar? Any ideas what I could do?

    Found the little git.

    Somehow, I had marked "Enable design mode" and the designer was attempting to make a wide range of custom controls that she had no idea what to do with.

    I think, I _may_ have tried the design mode for about five minutes about five years ago and decided it wasn't for me... If so, this opinion still stands.

    I have "Enable design mode" Unflagged and suddenly everything plays well again.

    I had the same problem - could not believe my eyes on how horrible and blurry Flash Builder looked on my new Macbook Pro w retina.  Through she had suffered since last week and have just discovered this work around that someone figured out for Eclipse that also works on Flash Builder (guess b/c it is built on Eclipse).  Here is the link to the bug report that shows the work around (thanks to Brad Hudgeons):

    Here is a cut and paste from the bug report in the case of the above url is deleted:

    Here's the workaround:  Do "Show package contents" on the Eclipse.app.  Edit Contents/Info.plist.  Just above     Place this:  NSHighResolutionCapable 
    

    Instead of Eclipse, display the contents of the package on Adobe Flash Builder 4.6.app.   After you change the Info.plist file, go to the Adobe Flash Builder 4.6.app and reproduce.  It will create an Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 copy.app.  Delete your original Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 and rename the Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 Adobe Flash Builder 4.6.app copy.app.  Then launch Flash Builder - you should see the text which is much clearer.  The graphics on the user interface are still unclear but at least the text should be crispy.

    I used a trial of flash builder professional edition 4 and I thought before she missed that I would test the Profiler.  What has shocked me, it was the number of objects that have been left in memory.  After seeing that I decided to put up a small test and had very bad luck.  I was hoping someone can look at the following and tell me hypothesis I have is simply false.

    According to the profile, there are 303 ComplexNum objects allocated, but no matter how long I waited she never went back to 3.

    If you imported a theme on a single machine, it is copied to /Application Data/Adobe/Flash Builder/themes on Win and Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash Builder/themes on Mac.

    When you have created a project using one of these imported themes, you should be able to compile the project on another machine just export the project as .fxp real machine and import it to the new machine. This operation copies the theme of EXTERNAL_THEME_DIR of the new machine, which is nothing, but the path described above (different for different OS)

    Another is to import the new theme in the new machine or manually copy the folder of the theme of the location of EXTERNAL_THEME_DIR of the first machine instead of EXTERNAL_THEME_DIR of the new machine.

    I use flash/flex builder for years, but have never tried to create an AIR application before.  I tried to create a 'Hello' world app before wearing some of my stuff by following the instructions here:

    "but when I try to debug the code, I get the a dialog box"Unable to launch"with the useless comment! ApolloLaunchDelegate.fileDoesNotExist!'.

    I'm running win7x64, SDK 4.1

    I tried all kinds of different files in the AIR, including the value by default when you create an empty project and the conversion of copies of some of my existing flex projects on the desktop, but they all give the same message.

    Google does not help.  Any ideas would be welcome.

    EDIT: just tried the same thing on my same version of flash builder on my laptop and it works... The laptop working Vistax64.  The only other different is that when I chose SDK 4.1 in the new project dialog box, he said, AIR 2.0, while on this machine, say, he needed air 1.5

    You can check whether a SWF file has been generated in your bin-debug folder? Looking at the code FB, this happens when the SWF file does not exist. (Although I don't know why the error message is incorrect for you. Did pass you to FB 4 to 4.0.1 or are you on an own 4.0.1 install?)

    Try to check your view of 'Problems' to see if there are any compiler errors.

    Then, I use Flash Builder Burrito to install and run the application in the device. The geolocation object is cut. Even I turn on all the settings of the geolocation. An interesting thing is, Geolocation is the work in the Flex Mobile application round.

  • Flash in the last nightly build is not working and causing accidents. Help?

    I use an Asus Transformer tf101. I updated today every night and now flash does not work in the program. Once I try to play any flash video, the program crashes and it blocks once or twice more after that before so I can use it again. I deactivated all my plugins and cold booted but in vain.
    Another question, that I have, is that it freezes sometimes on the homescreen at startup. This instance occurs usually after that I try to type an address or use a bookmark. The only way I found around her had to press one of the three icons top site first. Does anyone have a solution to this?

    Edit: I started the previous generation at the moment. It is not as nice as the style of the most recent version, but it plays better than other mobile browsers out there flash video. As a break, jump before or put the video in full screen, the controls are always hit or miss.
